The only person who has been down the stairs was your employee with his equipment. Therefore , the damaged pictured is due to your company. There was never any discouragement from Bob is getting our ducts cleaned . The compensation that was offered to us for all the damage done was $25.00 I can't even get out a person to repair the drywall damage for $25.00. Jake initially cleaned my dryer vent. At that time I inquired about having my air ducts cleaned. He walked me through the process that they use and made sure that i didn't have any questions. I made an appointment with him and he got me in quickly, called ahead to confirm, and even contacted me the day of, stating that he could be available early. Ok, we have been living in our home for 17 years and have never cleaned the air ducts. On a recent furnace inspection ever an install we were told that we should get this done, they told us that it was not really dirty but the new furnace would run more efficiently. We postponed this at that time and after a few months my wife wanted us to get it done. We found a coupon for Superior Air Duct Cleaning and decided to do it. Big mistake, first, they cancelled the first appointment but rescheduled for two days later. When they arrived and started cleaning everything that was in the ducts was immediately blown out of our ducts and around the house. I had to grab our vacuum to suck all of the dust and fuzz that was floating around out of the air because the vacuum the Tech (Owner) was pulling was insufficient (no negative pressure in the ductwork). The Technician said, "Oh, I'm sorry about that." When he saw the amount of dust blowing out of the return duct. I had to put dust masks on and evacuate the kids, good thing it was only in the lower 40's. I immediately called their office because I the Tech was just doing what he was taught, which was not to create a negative pressure in the ducts so this does not happen. I was told they would talk with the Tech but I said I would like to talk to the owner. I was told the owner wasn't in and they would call me back. I then talked to the Technician, he admitted that he was the owner. He then started to tell me that it was because the ducts were dirty. Really, that is why I called you. To clean the ducts not to dirty my house and put my children's health in jeopardy. I told him that I was not going to pay for such a horrible job. Fantastic Experience Overall! I must have called 5 different air duct cleaning companies. Some were very short and to the point, some were unresponsive and some were very pushy. Prices ranged from $750-$1,000 for our 4,500 sq ft home. When I called Superior Air Duct Cleaning, I spoke to Bob who was very warm and easy to work with. I had originally had an appointment booked for last week, but I got a call that the technician scheduled to clean my vents had fallen off a ladder. Eek! The woman I spoke with was so apologetic and kind. She offered to reschedule with a free sanitizing service, and I gladly agreed. The window of time given was between 12 and 2 pm today, and the tech showed up practically at noon! The tech, Ryan, is the owner of the business, and he was very kind, courteous, and professional. I showed him around the house so he could see the vents and returns and the furnace. I wasn't sure when the last time the vents were cleaned was, but I let him know that we purchased the house nearly two years ago and hadn't had it cleaned since then. He got to work while I worked outside the house in my backyard office. When he was done, he came and got me. It only took about 45 minutes to do the cleaning! (Our house is two stories, build in the 1950s, and is only about 860 square feet each up and down.) The house smelled incredibly clean, and I didn't spot any dust or debris anywhere from the cleaning, which was something I had worried about. Great Job! I Was able to scheduled for completion the same week we called. Ryan arrived promptly on time and was very courtesy and easy to deal with. We used the Groupon deal but had a few extra vents and add ons but even with that it was a good price. Just over $200 for a 3 bedroom 3 bath two story house. ( I thought just being 2 storys it would be an extra charge...) Cleaned and sanitized in just over 2 hours... and they had not been done in over 12 years. Others can charge more than double that, and they might claim to do a better or more thorough job,maybe they do, but I doubt by much. Not enough that would justify doubling the cost, especially if this is something you have done every few years. ( as you should) I would use again and highly recommend Superior.
