I have a very old Thermador double oven (circa 1997!) and was trying to find someone to fix it. I saw reviews for QAS via GOOGLE that took me to YELP. After reading the overwhelmingly positive reviews there for QAS, I called it. I had a very nice talk with the owner, "Jason," who, alas, does not service the West Chester area. However, Jason appears to be "old school" concerning customer service and earning "good will" and so offered some very good advice and gave me a referral for a long-established family appliance store near Trooper that I'm now speaking with about my buying a new double oven. So...sorry I could not get Jason over to WC to fix my Thermador BUT I will remember him if anyone I know in the Collegeville, Phoenixville, Norristown areas need a very nice and seemingly very experienced appliance repair service to call upon! Quick service and very professional. I appreciated receiving updates to confirm my appointment, provide a two-hour service window, and to let me know my technician was on the way. Jason (the technician) was very knowledgeable and able to fix my electric stovetop burner in no time! On a side note, I called three appliance companies to help resolve my appliance issue. The Ice maker in my Samsung refrigerator had stop making ice which was not longer under the extended warranty with Loews. I had call them to service the repair but when I read that company reviews I cancel that service. I then when on yelp and found Quality Appliance Service which had great reviews so I schedule my service. The communication was top notch, Jason let me know when he would arrive, when right to work, know what part need to be ordered. He schedule a return day to install the part he let us know ahead of time that the part didn't arrive when expected so reschedule. Recently I had the misfortunate of my Samsung washer failing on me. Based on the symptoms I believed it was the drain pump not pumping the water out of the machine. I called on Jason from Quality Appliance Repair and based on the symptoms Jason gave me a quote and told me right from the beginning what it would take to fix the machine and how much it would cost. Jason came to check the appliance in the time window which was communicated earlier via email and also an automated call. Mines was a stackable system, Jason had a dolly to lift the dryer and get to work on the washer. As earlier suspected, it was indeed the drain pump which Jason replaced and put the whole machine together. Jason did impart some very useful information regarding washing machines in general during the time he was at my place. I can't comment on the quality of a repair. I can report on issues I had both online and by phone while trying to schedule a repair. I first tried scheduling a repair online. I had all the information including the appliance serial number. When I went to choose a date for a repair, I saw a prompt that said I couldn't schedule for more than two weeks out. I was actually trying to schedule 11 days out due to a work commitment. The following day I tried to schedule by phone. I gave the customer service person all the information only to be told she couldn't schedule that far out and that she would transfer me to another service department. That line rang and rang with no one picking up. I hung up and redialed. I spoke to another customer service person who said she could only schedule through their website and couldn't schedule out that far-now a 10 day window. There was no other way to assist me making the appointment. I hung up and scheduled an appointment through someone else. Total fail on Quality Appliance for their scheduling issues. I'm happy to edit my review and give Quality Appliance Repair Service five stars. Jason reached out to me after the initial scheduling snafu. We scheduled a service appointment and Jason made the necessary repair. I received an automated call in the morning reminding me of the service time and he arrived on time. I really appreciate the steps Jason took to turn the situation around, it's evident that customer service is important to him. Thankfully quality appliance agreed and even though getting parts from Samsung is a pain, they continue to push for the parts and keep me up to date on when the parts arrived. I haven't had this company come out for service yet but I must say that Jason provided me a wealth of information and great advice on a problem with my 3 year old LG refrigerator over the phone today. Its at the point where I am considering a lawsuit against LG because they are not honoring their warranty. Anyway, Jason called me himself to explain the issue but also took the time to give me some great advice on where to buy a replacement and what I should be looking for. I wish I got to talk to him before I made that tragic mistake buying an LG. I will definitely call him if I ever need service in the future.
