We paid $100 for the inspection, that would have been deducted the the price when we bought the oven. they told us the oven would fit fine. They delivered the oven and 1. we were told the we needed an electrician to separate breaker before he could install the oven 2. The electrician came and charge us $275 and said the breaker were fine 3. They came to install the oven agin and left a big space between the oven and the cook top . They said they would have a stainless piece made to fit the open space. 4. Four weeks late they came with what looked like a black piece of wood and I would not let them glue in it. 5. I complained to the store and they said they would call me with a solution. Still have not heard from them, They company Kitchen Solvers that remodeled out kitchen 20 years came and was able to re-position the oven correctly. I still have not heard from Allentown Appliance. During this past summer we decided to do some renovations so I was there quite often. I distinctly remember being there 6 times in one day due to being unorganized and not remembering to grab all the things I needed. The staff working there is hit and miss. There are "experts" or guys who really know their stuff and are very helpful with advices and suggestions. And there are the ones who are hired temps who don't know any more than what's written on the box. But I know by now who's who. It does get busy on weekends, especially during the warmer months, and with limited experts to go around, it can take awhile. I believe John (IIRC) in the plumbing department was a lifesaver when we encountered unexpected problems, one of another, when remodeling a bathroom. I like this one better than the other locations only because of distance and IMO isn't as busy as the others. Definitely recommend.
