I was told I needed new rear brakes, so I planned to replace them myself on Saturday, 12/29/25. When I went to start the job, my security socket was nowhere to be found. So much for my Saturday project. The shop was closed for the weekend, so I couldn't resolve it. I met with the owner, Dan, on Monday. He ordered a new set of security lugs in hopes that the key would work. It did not. The tech had misplaced my original key during the brake inspection. Needless to say, it was a major inconvenience--and I didn't receive so much as an apology from the owner. This was my experience as a first-time customer. I knew immediately something was wrong. I only live a few blocks so I popped the hood and there was ZERO antifreeze in it. next day spoke to owner who claimed they test drive is not just around the block complete opposite of what mechanic told me he did (around the block) they tried to blame the problem with the car on a tranny recall (it was taken care of by previous owner) they GAVE ME FREE a brand new battery. there's the "inspection " to see what the issues are so why have me spend 1500$ only to tell me I have a bad tranny? they screwed up my vehicle. and tried pointing the finger else where. shame on you Marie Garage.
