Quality Marine Glass repair! We really appreciate Mike and Quality Glass for helping us out recently with a project that we had on our 450 Sea Ray Sundancer. The secondary seals had failed and we were getting water coming in from the skylight (resulting in moldy cockpit carpet) and water seeping in under our helm and potentially damaging our electronics which would have cost thousands to repair or replace. I had my windshield replaced here a few weeks ago because it had rock chips (was not cracked or shattered). While the replacement was quick and the owner was kind, they left my car with shards of glass EVERYWHERE. Not only that, but they also left the dash covered in dirt and dust, with stains on the interior along the cloth sides surrounding the windshield. I had my dog with me and later had to remove glass from her paw. I do not recommend going here. read more

I had a serious emergency a few days ago: I'd borrowed my sister's car (her new one, the one she loves more than she'll probably love her firstborn child!) and I accidentally broke out the back window while backing into a tight parking spot. (I'm not a bad driver....I swear :) ) I was literally picking up my sister from the airport THAT NIGHT and I thought that all was lost. I went to Quality Auto Glass to pick up a friend who was dropping off his truck to have a new windshield installed. There was a sign in the window that said they do window chip repair and that reminded me that I had a chip. So I asked them about it. They not only quoted me what I thought was a very reasonable price but he said they could do it well I waited. Fifteen to twenty minutes later he was done and I left happy. I have a leaky SUV. It's old enough that the sunroof was number one suspect. I called these folks and quickly found that there is no receptionist or support staff, just guys that do all the automotive work and answer the phone when it rings. It's novel and wonderful to actually talk to people that know their stuff, and even better is that the guy I spoke to (I believe it was Mike) gave me the distinct impression that he wanted to do the right thing, not just whatever was quick, easy, most lucrative, or what I thought needed to be done. When I brought the car in, sure I was going to pay for water drain line clearing and cleaning, he took less than ten minutes to tell me all the drain lines were clear, nothing to do. No charge. Seriously? At my request, we then chatted about what might be suspect. Sunroofs in WA are just an inevitable failure and I want to stop the constant water in my car's cabin so I scheduled for getting it sealed. Showed up at the appointment, was five minutes in and out. Picked up the car the next morning (seal has to dry inside overnight) and on my way, very reasonable price. Any gripes? Sure - front passenger seat looked like it had been stepped all over with nothing covering it. Scheduling can be a bit dicey since they have no dedicated secretary. But they are efficient, friendly, helpful, and provide good value. read more

Can not trust them Brought my car to their shop, I only got one crack and it is a easy fix. They used a high speed drill to drill a hole on he little crack and screwed up my windshield glass. The first time I came here was in February after my passenger's window was vandalized. I called other shops around the area to compare prices and this place gave me a estimate of how much it would cost and I took their offer. They were able to see me the next day! The installment took roughly two hours. I paid the amount I was quoted over the phone. Last week, I had to get my front windshield window replaced and thought I would call them for an estimate. They estimated a fair price and I thought that I would do business with them again since my last experience here went well. I went in early and the installment took about an hour. When I got a call that they were finished with my car, I walked from Starbucks and was ready to pay. They manager (I am assuming that's his position) had left the building to go somewhere for a bit and I was offered to check out by someone who told me that he was new. When I got my bill it was for roughly $333. I was told over the phone that it would cost $230 before tax and did the math myself and this should of cost me roughly $260 with tax included. I waited for the manager to get back and I told him that this is far much more than what I was estimated over the phone and he said that I probably talked to the owner "who often make mistakes like this often." ??? This confused me. After "negotiating" or if you could even call it that I ended up paying $320 for my installment, $60 more than what I expected to pay. If I knew this would of happened, I would have called around to see if I could have gotten a better deal somewhere else. My experience here was great up to checkout. I probably would not recommend this to my family and friends. read more

I took my car here for a new windshield. Everything seemed fine until I drove away and noticed that my new windshield had rippled glass and the rear view mirror was loose. I had some work done here a couple years ago and was surprised it's currently 4.5 stars! Felt I need to write a review to warn people about this place. If you have a German car and need anything done with windows or door panel, stay away. I got my driver door window fixed here after a break in and they basically messed up my window regulator and didn't put my door back together correctly. Thank good my insurance had life time warranty and I took it to a different shop to redo it. They told me the previous shop didn't even bother to replace the window seals correctly and saw that when the door was taken apart, many of the clips and parts were broken. They didn't seal it right so water was running when it rained where it wasn't suppose to. read more

We came here to replace my front windshield a few days ago and, to be honest, I would much rather drive around with cracked windshield than to rely on the services this place offers. We left with a new windshield with blue tape all around the edges and they told us to remove them after 2 days. Two days later, after removing the tape, we noticed the top panel of the roof was partially lifted, which created a small opening for any rainwater to trickle inside. How do you not check these things beforehand?! This place is God awful. You shouldn't call it "Quality" Auto Glass if quality is not part of your business model. This place is awesome. Not only did they give me the lowest quote on replacing my passenger window that randomly exploded when I was on I-5 - but they did so quickly, and with great customer service. The gentleman who repaired my window gave me honest feedback about whether or not my car's manufacturer would cover the window (they wouldn't) but he was friendly as all get - we ended up talking about our chihuahuas for 20 minutes. After an irritating experience yesterday with Allstar Auto Glass, I took my car into Quality this morning and was in and out in a little over 20 minutes. The service was great, they even cleaned out all the broken bits of glass inside from when the window was smashed in. I definitely felt like I was treated as a valued customer which was not the case with Allstar whose call center reps and dispatcher were unhelpful and impersonal. I can see why they use that "12 free car washes from Brown Bear" as an incentive but that is not enough incentive for me to go back! I'm very happy with the service at Quality Auto Glass. read more

These guys were great. After some douchenozzle tossed a huge chunk of concrete into my windshield Sunday night, I called Quality Auto Glass since I remembered them from a benefits fair at work. They were there 20 minutes later to pick up my truck to take back to the "controlled environment" of their shop. While the mobile glass replacement services are certainly convenient, I can appreciate them wanting to use their shop to make sure the replacement is done properly without any unknown variables. 3 hours and a couple of insurance calls later, my truck was good to go. Mike was recommended to me for a Diamond Sea Glaze window repair on my boat, and I couldn't be happier with the results. He was prompt on returning my calls, asked for photos, which I texted him, to assess the project, and showed up the next day to do the repair, which took him an hour at most. Been there twice in the past month for a strange window issue with my '86 Volvo. When I had the window regulator replaced, assuming it would correct the original problem, only to have the same thing happen again, needless to say, I was confused and concerned. i ordered a windshield from quality auto glass that i planned to install myself. i've had trouble in the past ordering glass for my old vehicle and having it show up with the wrong tint (blue vs green.... yes windshields are usually tinted slightly) or with the colored "shade" strip at the top that i don't want. no problem, they volunteered to order every part number in their catalog and let me inspect them all and pick! the delivery van was coming by later that day. so i pulled the glass from my vehicle on a friday morning and went by to pick up the new glass that afternoon... "sorry it won't be here until monday" i explained the situation, my vehicle in my driveway with no windshield, and felt stupid for not explaining to them in advance that i would most certainly need the new glass today. one of the employees then volunteered to come in early saturday morning, when they were technically closed, to have their delivery van bring by the windshields for me to inspect. i wish i remembered the name of the employee so i could thank him in person, but it is this kind of service--going above and beyond for a customer you are not making much money off--that wins customers for life. read more

I called Quality Auto Glass and I have to say, I've experienced better on the phone with customer service. The man sounded rude over the phone and about ready to hang up, even though I was just calling to make a quick appointment. Then he asked "What kind of glass do you need?" and of course I stammered because I was confused by the question and he made me out to sound like an idiot due to how I didn't know what "glass" I wanted. While I was driving to work my back windshield shattered. It is a mystery as to how or why. The bright side of this bizarre explosion is Quality Auto Glass. They were friendly, easy to work with, quick, and affordable. They didn't even complain when I returned for my car within five minutes of close only to have my boyfriend's car battery die in their parking lot. One of the guys was on his way to his own car to head home, saw our trouble, and went back to the shop to grab jumper cables and help us out. That is GREAT SERVICE!
