Bolt also worked directly with my warranty company and made a real effort to get as much covered as possible, which I appreciated. While they were in there, they were upfront about the spark plugs - noting that since access was already open, it made sense to take care of it now rather than paying for the same labor again down the road. That kind of transparency goes a long way. Overall, the team comes across as fair, honest, and focused on doing things the right way. It's safe to say I'll be going back to Bolt moving forward.

I got the inspection done today and the experience was great. Jay, one of the owners, welcomed me to the shop, very friendly. I sat in the waiting area after they started the inspection. There was another customer there and we started chatting. He couldn't praise the guys there enough. This other customer and I started lamenting how a lot of businesses don't provide the same customer experience we were use to from when we were younger (yes, bunch of old guys lamenting the world is going to...) and he said J&J is one of the exceptions. Jay showed me some additional concerns on my car...brake and tire wear. He showed me the problem areas and said I have some time left but these expenses are coming down the pike. It was refreshing to see this sales approach...I was aware he was upselling the other services they offer and I was totally happy with that...that's what all businesses must do. It was the approach, education, and showing me why the repairs would be needed that convinced me that when I need the work to be done, I will go to Jay and his team. Well done guys and keep it up! I wish I could give this company ZERO stars, as that's exactly the amount of help they provided me!…read more On Thanksgiving Day, I drove from my home in New Jersey to my In-Laws in Westchester County, NY. As luck would have it, the transmission on my Chevy Silverado gave out a mere two houses away from my In-Laws. I immediately called AAA to arrange a tow back to NJ to my dealership to have the truck diagnosed & serviced. AAA referred me to Cars & Carts and we had a conversation about the tow. Since it was Thanksgiving, I felt terribly about asking someone to come out & tow my truck, so I arranged with the owner (or boss) of Cars & Carts to have the tow done the next morning between 8 & 9am. The gentleman's name was Dan and I thanked him for his assistance! Here is where the entire experience went side-ways. At 9am, there was no word from Cars & Carts, so I phoned them and spoke to someone named Jay, I believe. Jay told me they had a tow that went late, as the person didn't show up for 45 minutes. I asked why that would have affected my tow, since I was first in line from the night before. Jay's explanation was a lot of gibberish and he assured me they'd be to me by 10am, "at the latest"! Well, 10am came and went, with no word from Jay, Dan or anyone at Cars & Carts. I called again at about 10:15am to inquire on when the driver would arrive to me and was told that they had an "emergency call" that they had to take, as it was a priority over my tow. When I asked why they would take a call instead of saying they had no truck available, I was again met with gibberish and a none too coherent excuse. So, here I am now waiting for 3 plus hours for a tow, all the while stalling my In-Laws departure from their home, as they were to leave for an 11 hour drive south. Finally, I decided I had to leave so my In-Laws could as well. My last correspondence with Cars & Carts ended with a new person, Daniel, telling me that Dan would call me very shortly to arrange the tow and that I could leave the keys with my truck and they would pick it up soon. I then left to drive home to NJ, having borrowed one of my In-Laws vehicles. At 1:30pm, after hearing nothing from Cars & carts regarding my truck, I called AAA again and made arrangements for another Tow company to get my truck. RDM Towing & Recovery arrived within 30 minutes, got my truck and called me with an ETA to my dealership in South Jersey. At 5pm, Jesse from RDM called me and sent a text of the invoice, after having dropped my truck at the dealership. In closing, I guess it was a good day after all, as I found a terrible company that I can warn everyone about (Cars & Carts) and an incredible company that I can share with everyone (RDM Towing & Recovery)!
