Fair mechanic. I found Binh's shop thanks to a friend who said his family has been going to him for years, even when they moved to Sacramento, they still trek down to San Jose as they only trust him. For myself, my check engine light came on, Binh fixed it and it was good for a few months until it came on again. It was the same error. Binh fixed it again for no charge, not even for labor, since it was the same error and only a couple months after. His work isn't cheap, but it's most definitely fair. I have been here twice after my boss and my mom recommended Ben. I have not been disappointed. The first time, Midas had recommended well over $1000 worth of brake work. Ben pointed out that there were actually only a few minor things that needed replacing and brought the price down to a fraction of the Midas estimate. I was so relieved and grateful. The second time (this week) my car was making two distinct scary noises. I was afraid it would need major work, such as perhaps a new power steering pump. It turned out to just need a hose and gasket and I got out of there for very little money. AND, here is the kicker, Ben *also* replaced, at no additional cost, bolts that had fallen off of my bumper after someone hit-and-ran it and it subsequently got hooked on a curb and pulled apart. He mounted my bumper back onto the car and banged out the ding. No additional cost! He rocks! And I can put my bungee cords away now! Bonus, Ben also took less than a day to complete this work on each occasion, whereas my previous mechanic had more employees but still would have kept my car for 2-3 days. Definitely the best experience with an auto mechanic! I've seen and known many mechanics, not because my cars keep breaking down, but because I've own many different cars that required maintenance. I don't let my cars break down, so I make sure they are properly maintained. I found Binh at Quality Autoworks through a friend of mine who trusted him. I just had our minivan serviced which just hit 100,000 miles. Binh checked what was needed, and replaced ONLY what needed to be replaced. He replaced the timing belt, water pump, the iridium spark plugs, the engine oil and filter, and the coolant. He only uses genuine OEM parts, which I truly appreciate because that is what I want for my cars. I asked Binh to check the rear brakes and the transmission oil. He replaced the rear brake pads as they were almost gone, but he said the transmission oil was still fine. He also checked the serpentine belt, but also said it was still in very good working condition. I also asked Binh to replace my front and rear shocks and struts because it leaned and bounced all over the place, which affected the the handling and braking. I'm so happy now. He did an excellent job with the removal and replacement. Bottom line, Binh does not try to sell you maintenance that is not necessary, unlike dealerships and many other mechanics out there who try to force you to replace this or that, even though they are not yet necessary. Binh even suggests to replace air or cabin filters on your own, as those are easy to do. I like Binh's honesty and am very much satisfied with the work he did on our minivan. As young as he looks, Binh's been in that shop for over 12 years, a testament of his commitment to providing great service. Binh did all the above work on the same day. I dropped off the minivan in the morning, and picked it up in the afternoon before he closed shop. read more

He is kind beyond terms of customer service, honest, quick and holds high integrity (you can just tell in talking with him).
