This is the sixth time using the service department at Quality GMC Buick, and will not return again. I felt I had to use them because I bought my Terrain from them, but have since found another GMC qualified service department on the westside of Albuquerque. I am so sick of the bad attitudes from the service reps that I've dealt with. Luckily, my service and warranty contract has ended with Quality and will begin going to the dealership across town. I went there with a friend who was getting his Chevy serviced and was amazed at the quality of thier customer service. They were genuinely nice. I took a day off to come down for the appointment and certainly do not appreciate feeling as though I am bothering people. Worked with a great young man named David but once he passed us off to the manager things went south. First he told us that he would check the price but to be aware that the owner may have a bottom line price lower than what he (the manager) would be willing to offer. We made a solid cash offer on a truck that has sat on the lot since May and just had another deal fall thru because the buyer could not get funded. The manager treated us like second class citizens and dismissed us outright. We will be buying a truck today from a different dealer and that truck can continue to catch dust sitting on this managers lot. The new car buying experience was great at Quality GMC. I ordered my vehicle in September and finally got it in December. This is the fourth new vehicle that I have ordered from a dealer, the other 3 being Chevy, Ford, and Subaru. Comparing my 4 experiences, Quality GMC did a fine job. They could have done slightly better by having all paperwork ready to help minimize my time at the dealership.
