One of my all time favorite cafes! I've gotten a couple different drinks, last time I got a caramel cinnamon hot latte, and it was amazing. The staff are always so kind and I enjoy talking to them. My drink came out pretty quickly and everyone I've gone here with has really enjoyed it. There is plenty of space to journal, yap, or do work if needed. They also have a lot of cute things for sale like mini prints, wick jars, jewelry, and so on from small businesses. Overall, I wish this was on east Michigan, I miss it everyday :) read more

It's hard to find quality looseleaf tea shops in a new town. This town required asking AI to research reviews mentioning looseleaf tea, and I was thrilled with the results. Lovely English breakfast tea, smooth flavor, no bitterness, perfect strength. Free refills of water of course. This tea stood up to two steeping. Not a large place, plenty of friendly seating. Airy with lots of windows. Would easily be my favorite shop if I lived here. read more

Super cute both inside & out. Menu was diverse yet simple. Workers were very friendly. I got an iced matcha with whole milk & lavender and vanilla. My friend got a miel. I also got a cinnamon coffee cake. The matcha latte was good and not bitter. My friends coffee was not too sweet. The muffin had the perfect crumb top and was so fresh! Drinks are pricey and coffee is acidic without good flavor. They were busy which was fine, I had no problem waiting. My name was called sooner than expected and I went to retrieve my food which was thrown on a counter with several other items. I was snapped at and told the drinks weren't mine. I had to tell them my name was called. It was just for the warm cinnamon rolls. I had to wait another 15 minutes for the drinks so that the cinnamon rolls were extra cold. Drove by KIN and thought it was a cutest little indie coffee shop so I stopped in! They're open Mon - Sat, so I was grateful I could get my caffeine fix on Labor Day! I ordered the Lavender Bee (Lavender + Honey Latte - $5.25). It's house-made syrup and it was perfect! Not too floral, but still had the lavender goodness. So adorable! This spot is perfectly located on the way from town to Holland State Park & the beach. We grabbed coffee and breakfast to-go, but they had ample in-door and outdoor seating. The menu offered a much larger food selection than other coffee shops in the area. It was pretty busy the morning we visited, parking was a bit difficult. We ordered coffee, a cookie and a scone. The baked goods were so good! The scone was orange/cranberry and every bite was full of flavor. The cookie was so great and huge! We were able to share it with my partner's family, even. Honestly, one of the cutest and nicest coffee shops we have ever been to. It's a large shop with tons of options for seating. Inside, there's places to work, places to sit and relax, and even places to create and make crafts. Outside, there's a front patio and a back patio- both are incredibly charming. I had a honey cinnamon latte and it was so good we decided to come back the next day for another. The parking lot is decent in size, staff are very friendly, and it's located a short drive from the beaches and it's next to a campground/fairground and huge park. Delicious coffee. Came to Holland on a trip looking for some good coffee to sustain us on our long days of relaxation. We found Kin on day 1 and I'm SO glad we did. With high quality espresso, friendly baristas, and delicious drip coffee, it because a trip staple. Not to mention the inside is just beautiful. It's clear they care about their craft! Visiting the area for the first time and found this really nice coffee house. We try to find something other than the typical chains. KIN Coffee is the perfect spot if you are looking to grab a drink and get back on with the day or if you want to hang out and enjoy some company. Everyone was extremely friendly and the drinks were great. During our 5 days in the area we ended up visiting 4 times, only because we hadn't found it on day 1. Parking can be a challenge, but it looks like there are spots across the street. This will be our go to coffee house when in the area. read more

Actually, I love this charming coffee shop - writing this morning while I'm starving because I had an appointment in Holland and specifically went to KIN first to get a scone, muffin, or croissant. Each time I'm here it's morning and they're sold out of several items in their small bakery case. I like their cherry scone, their almond croissant, and a couple of other things. Today they were sold out of everything I like at 10:45 a.m. and pretty much all the leftover options were all chocolate - like chocolate, muffin, chocolate scone, chocolate whatever. I like chocolate fine, but when it comes to scones, muffins, or croissants, the natural pairing is a type of fruit, not chocolate, chocolate, chocolate - which may explain why all these were left but all the fruit options were sold out this early. Love you, KIN - but please (!) let's expand our bakery case and offer more non-chocolate variety. :) read more

Wow, this place is wonderful! They opened recently in Holland and we couldn't be happier. Pros- coffee is excellent Baked goods are well worth the calories and they are getting other food soon too. We love love the atmosphere of the coffee shop. Often times you see coffee shops that maybe have good coffee but it's not the kind of place you want to hang out but this place is lovely - all the elements are carefully planned out with thoughtful touches throughout the shop, we just love going. Anyway, if you live in Holland or you are just visiting be sure to check them out. They also have bottled Kombucha and great tea. read more
