His work was shoddy; he left large puddles of water, and when asked to take care of them claimed his machine wouldn't remove them. He reluctantly showed us the machine, after which my husband and I had to take it and do the work ourselves while he complained that he had to leave. I agreed with the negative posts regarding Quality Cleaning and Restoration Companies. There is nothing quality about their work! And if I could I would give them a-10. My neighbor and I contacted them to clean our dryer vents. The technician arrived along with a woman whom he identified as a friend and then his assistant. Neither were professionally dressed and I think she was probably his baby daddy although she kept telling me he was like a father to her. The tech looked at my dryer and told me he was going to charge me $250 to clean it. I told him flat out no! He tried to convince me that there was lint on the backside of the dryer that needed to be cleaned ( that's not the vent)! Ultimately he got behind the dryer, took some duct tape and wrapped it around the dryer vent and proceeded to tell me about how he has 3 kids and it's Christmas and the owner, Wayne, doesn't pay the staff well. He told me he would only charge me $100 and then put $70 on the receipt! He asked that I first make out a check to his Assistant and then asked that it be made out instead to his business partner. When I asked his assistant the name of his company ( because QCR uses subcontractors) his assistant told me it was CGR. When I asked what that stood for she had to ask him. He told her it is Can't Get Right. When I googled them they weren't on the web. When I questioned why his "23 year company" wasn't on the web his "assistant" told me that he wasn't computer literate. This was a SCAM! I called the company and at first spoke to Wayne. I told him something was wrong. I thought the whole transaction was "off." He thanked me for calling but didn't offer me a refund. I called again later in the day and spoke to Paul ( who originally set up the appointment). He apologized and told me he would send someone out the next day to make sure the work was done, ultimately I declined the offer. I called the Baltimore Better Business Bureau and they informed me this company had 3 complaints lodged against it and they aren't accredited. Bottom line is avoid them at all costs!!! read more

They quote you one price over the phone & you always end up paying another. The people that show up to clean your carpet aren't professional. They left my bathroom a mess & bath tub dirty. This is a money hungry company. The guy that came to clean my carpet for 1500 square feet quoted me $469 when the price was only supposed to be $80. This company is a joke. I do not recommend them. These folks came to clean my carpets. Got them from valu pak. They try to act like they are doing you a favor, they quote you this great price from valu pak. Then they get to your house and it ends up being $300.The guy says well actually it would've been $700. They next week, you could see the Fck ups come out. This company is beyond shady!!! My carpet was to be cleaned at a quoted price of $129. On the day of the cleaning two men show up (Frank and Lonnie). Lonnie is the talker. He tells me that the basic cleaning was $102 but for the Teflon and deep cleaning and sanitizing it would be about $416. Really?!?!? He told me that he doesn't get paid for another week, and if I could pay part in cash, that would help him. He then could take his cut out now and he would only charge me $200 for all of the above services plus a 5 year warranty. I went to the ATM to get cash and instead of paying with my cc I paid part with a check. The guy just seemed a little off. Shame on me!!! Once they left I looked at my security camera, and this guy was rummaging through items in my garage and used some of my cleaning products!! On one clip, he happened to notice the camera and it startled him and he immediately starting singing. Who knows what else he would have taken. I called the office that next business day and spoke to Wayne, who calls himself the owner, to no avail. He made excuses saying that the guys told him that I had left to go to the ATM so they couldn't ask if they could use my products and that he would refund me $20. F**k the $20. It is never ok for a contractor to come in your home and rummage through your thing and use them on my house for a service that I am paying for. I asked for a full refund and we just severe all ties. Run these people are a rip off. I asked for a contract and never received one. The person on the phone said there were in good standing with the BBB which was a lie. Maurice Green showed up said he was a sub contractor with ServoPro lie number 2. And when you have had knee surgery and your basement is flooded you want the job done quickly. It took nearly six weeks. They were very unprofessional. Lie 3 we have licensed plumbers and electrician lie. The only thing they were quick with was getting their equipment in the basement. They were never on time and some days never showed up at all. Each day was a different people he dropped off. So.e days he come at 1pm and be back at 3:30 to retrieve his workers. He showed me an estimate on his phone said he would email me and my agent.That never happened. He started the job on August 26 I didnt get a contract message to me until October 20 dated Sept 2. I told Maurice send it to the agent because thats not the estimate you originally gave so I know you didn't send it to them back in August. You took no pictures.you have no receipt and I constantly had to ask you for a contract with you provided 6 weeks later. you left all the trash in my yard and storage area which I had to pay to have removed. If you want quality and the job done in a timely manner which he said 3 weeks turned into 6 with me left with the clean up. Don't trust Wayne or Maurice they scamming together. read more

One star is generous. This is the shadiest, most unprofessional company I've ever had to deal with. They gave me a window and then 2 hours later, said they'd be there in 30 minutes. This is the last time I will be solicited by phone for a cleaning service. It was a $79.00 vent cleaning offer. By the time Maurice was done I had been talked into a $700 vent cleaning and sanitizing job. I will save you the details of this in and out quick work couple, but I am now having to repair a table leg that they are blaming me for damaging. Oh me. Big lesson learned. Go to these sites first, like YELP, and read the 'skinny' so to speak on the service you have agreed to; if it is not good, cancel, and give no $$ or credit card in advance. If someone is soliciting by phone for a service, I now will throw up my 'red flag' before I accept work to be done and ask for credentials, references and more. I got a coupon in the mail for $69.95 for unlimited vent and return cleaning. I called and made an appointment and they were extremely accommodating. The technician called when he was going to be late and was incredibly friendly. It all went downhill when he came in and accessed the situation and said that the cost was going to be $270. I balked. Since I had already been informed, by the kind lady that made my appointment, that any additional return was $30 extra, and I only have one return in my house, I grew skeptical. I started asking questions about what these other charges were for. He said it was for 2 additional lines that run to the furnace. When I was downstairs and stood where he was, I saw one and ask where this other line was going since apparently I had to pay for 2. "It's back there" he responded. Those 2 would cost $160. Great! Go for it. Then later he tells me it's $160, plus my coupon, but his total was $270. When I asked what the additional $40 was for, he changed it to $230. His rates kept changing the entire time. He even said I should pay in cash. If I didn't have any, I could go to the ATM. The only reason I even allowed this to continue and didn't put up a stink was because I'm pregnant and there is a smell coming from the vent that I wanted gone. Anyone that's been through a first trimester of pregnancy can feel my pain. When he finished, I wrote a check and asked him again what the amount was and he told me $235. When I asked what the $5 was for, he quickly readjusted back to $230. I've been had. It's my own fault. I should have researched and held my ground, but alas, you win some you lose some. What should have been a 2 hour service took less than 30 minutes. UPDATE: The owner called and apologized for the inconvenience and that I felt the service wasn't up to par. I'm truly grateful for that. It's sad that the people I've spoken with are all incredibly kind people and seem genuine, so hopefully this was a fluke. read more

One was for an flooding emergency at a rental, another was for mold remediation at a renovation project, and the third time at my house for sewage back up. The company is usually able to come the same day or next to complete the service. The communication and pricing are very clear and straightforward. AVOID THIS COMPANY. I came home to some water in our basement from a rain. I called Quality Cleaning. I was told they would send someone right away with fans/dehumidifiers. The owner, Wayne, told me that there was no emergency service fee -- it was just rolled into the cost of service. His person arrives and without evaluating moisture in our basement simply tells us that he'll have to tear up the entire hardwood floor in the basement and all of the baseboards. Fortunately, I had the frame of mind to tell him to just leave the fans and dehumidifier and for me to do some research. Another company came a few days later and used a device to measure moisture in the floors and baseboards. While the baseboards were determined to be wet, the floors were completely fine. Meanwhile, Wayne sent me a quote to rip up our entire basement for over $7,000. I told him that we won't be needing that and to come collect fans/dehumidifier. He then charges me over $700 for rentals, emergency fee, set up and random charges. I agreed that I would only pay for the equipment rental since that's what we discussed. I promised to put a check in the mail when I returned from travels. That's when the stalking began. Wayne has no shame. He called me 20+ times (I stopped answering after 5 phone calls in which I told him I was still travelling and would put check in the mail upon my return). I blocked his number -- but he was leaving me voicemails at 7:00 am on Saturdays. This is the sketchiest, most unprofessional and dishonest vendor that I have ever encountered. July 14, 2018 I tried this company after receiving a coupon in ValPak. I received a phone call the day before telling me that someone would be there between 10 and 2. The next day I left my house at 10:00, and the Tech called at 10:15, telling me he'd be there in 30 -45 minutes. So I turned my car around and went home to meet him. He arrived when he said he would; so far, so good! The Tech who arrived was Demetrius. He was courteous, polite and professional. My original estimate was for $74 (according to the terms of the ValPak coupon). Demetrius suggested a few "add ons" such as "deep scrubbing" and "sanitization". This brought my original quote up to $149. As had not had my carpet and stairs cleaned in eight years, I agred to the "add ons". (Note: I was showed the estimate before the work was done and I did have the option to say "no".) Demetrius got his equipment and promptly went to work. While there were no stains on my carpet, there was quite a bit of dust, dirt and pet hair. He spent almost 2 hours on the job - about what I expected. He worked nonstop and did not take any breaks. All in all, I was very pleased with the results. My carpet and staircase looks and smells very clean and sanitized. Here's the thing -- I have worked in industries similar to this one: plumbing, electrical, chimney, etc.. I know that these Techs are incentive-ized to "upsell" the customer; it is in their best interest. Typically they are paid base salary plus commission. The pricier the job, the more they make. I knew that I was being "upsold"; so what? He did a good job and he earned it. My advice to anyone who uses this company: be prepared to be upsold and know that there is room for negotiation. I felt that my final price of $149 was "made up"; especially since there was no breakdown on the invoice. But the work was done and my carpets are clean. read more

I called because I needed last minute service and my mom found one of those coupons in the mail. $95.95 for 5 rooms a hallway and a 2 deep scrub. I only have three rooms. Seemed like an ok deal. They canceled the first day and rescheduled. They were almost two hours late beyond the window they provided. My mom lives near by so met them at my house while I was working. I gave them instructions to call me and I would specify the work I needed. Maurice called and tried to up-sell gutter cleaning , I turned it down. He was very pushy and insistent about adding services. Then he doubled the price of the carpet cleaning with Extras . I said no . So he begrudgingly tells me he will do that work I want And that I would receive a call for payment. Fine. Then 15 minutes later my mom calls And says he's going to clean my couch and my gutters . I was taken aback. I couldn't believe he was taking advantage of the situation and using her to Up sell. I told her that i never asked for those services. So she puts him on the phone. I told him I had been clear that all I wanted was 3 bedrooms - 2 of them deep scrubbed And one hallway. I didn't ask for couch cleaning or gutters. I told Him i didn't need him to up sell and that if he wasn't going to deliver on my specific requests then he could leave . He told me that he was not going anything extra and he rudely hung up on me before i could finish speaking. He complained to my mom about what kind of customer I was and that he hated doing work for people like me. Very unprofessional to try to trick my mom and bad mouth me. He finished the work in 20 min or less. He was outside my house waiting for payment . I called the main office and explained the situation and didn't receive an apology, only a request for payment. When I got home, the carpet did not look clean at all . It certainly was not deep scrubbed. I've used other companies before but never one so unprofessional. What a rip off!!! I wanted a 3 seater and 2 seater sofas for a deep clean, which Betty said was $57.95. When this guy and his wife showed up in an unmarked white car, I didn't feel comfortable. The guy up the price to $260. I said that's not what they quoted me over the phone and he said "oh they didn't tell you about the additional charges for the deep clean." He said he could do the deep clean and throw in the sanitizer for free." I foolishly agreed because I just wanted them to finish and leave. They seemed intimidating and rough, I didn't feel comfortable at all. They completed everything in just 20 minutes. The last guy who cleaned our sofas spent a few hours! They did such a half ass quick job. They spilled/ sprayed water and chemical all over our floors and walls, after giving them sheets and blankets so they don't get it on the floors. They spilled so much it had soaked through the blankets and beyond. I had to clean up everything after paying over $150. Ridiculous!!! I could the customer service number right after they left. I spoke to Lonnie who didn't really care and shouldn't be handling customer service. He wasn't listening, kept talking to other people as I was talking to him. I had to repeat things over and over, he then called his boss, Wayne. Instead of refunding our money or giving most back, he was telling me they can do something for us in the future. When they were cleaning upholstery, I saw the technician training the helper. When they took off a return air vent, they did not think to score the seams and the paint was torn off the wall. I couldn't tell you how good their services are since I was scheduled today for a technician to arrive between 12-3 PM. At 2:30 PM, I received a call from dispatch stating the technician would be here in 20-30 minutes. By 3:45, no technician had arrived. I called the main number and was told dispatch would call me right back. The dispatch person stated that the house the technician was currently at wanted more services than what they scheduled for and that was causing the delay and the technician would be there as soon as he could. This is unacceptable. I'd already waited OVER the promised arrival time and you can't give me time when he will be here? The dispatcher then tried to convince me to continue waiting. NO. I have plans and I've already wasted half of my day sitting around for a technician that never arrived. If the previous house wanted to add additional services over what they originally booked then they should've been scheduled for another time, not make other customers wait. When I told the dispatch that I am unable to keep waiting or interested in rescheduling it, he was rude and hung up on me. Avoid this business like the plague. read more

If you truly want quality, professional and competent service, please do NOT contact Quality Cleaning and Restoration Companies, Inc. (I used the Baltimore branch)!! We found their coupon in a Val-Pak and recently hired them to clean the carpets in four rooms (one room deep clean requested), one hallway and one stairway (deep clean requested). The technician knocked down a hanging key holder - did not mention it or try to place it back up; used the kitchen sink and a downstairs bathroom tub - left both disgusting and dirty. But, the major complaint I have is that the carpets were NOT cleaned at all!! They were still dirty (even the areas where we requested "deep" cleaning) and now WET on top of that!!! I actually stopped the technician prior to him completing the stairway and asked for his supervisor's name and telephone number. When I did get a supervisor (Wayne Vernon) on the phone he was rude, obnoxious and unprofessional!! When I tried to explain to him what the problem was, he continuously tried to talk over me, inserting facetious remarks, instead of listening to my complaint and offering some sort of resolution. Whatever happened to courteous customer service? My experience with Quality Cleaning and Restoration Companies, Inc. was the worse, by far, that I have had in EVER!! I would definitely NOT recommend this company to anyone who cares about the money they spend and the quality of service that results from that spent money. Instead of calling Quality Cleaning and Restoration Companies, Inc., and you want the same results as you'd get from them, I suggest that you just spray down your carpet with a garden hose and then suck up the water with a wet-vac...you'd get the same quality of cleaning and it wouldn't cost you anything! They cleaned 2 rooms and a hallway, the ducts and 2 peices of furniture and charged over $600! They did not do the stairs or the rec room and did not move anything. Quality Cleaning and Restoration saved the day after a no-show from a different company this past weekend. I called and spoke with a young lady who was polite, courteous, informative. She gave me detailed explanation of the various services they offer and even told me about promotions and coupons they have in circulation. She explained in detail the flexible options based on your personal needs and was even able to schedule an appointment same day (2pm-6pm) and I was DELIGHTED! Then I get a follow up call from the dispatcher letting me know that my technician was available to come earlier and if I was available. He too was just as polite and customer focus complete difference from my experience with the other company. My Technician Michael did a fantastic job with my carpet. He arrived about 1:30 and created a customized cleaning services and pricing and was completely finished by 2pm. I moved into my home recently and planned to replace the carpet but Michael did such a terrific job it's not necessary. He cleaned, deodorized, and sanitized the areas treated in my town home. Gave special attention to heavily traffic and soiled areas and my carpet looks brand new. They did this all while not breaking the bank! I can't wait to use them again! I rarely write bad reviews, however, when the technician came to clean my carpet and furniture today he tried to get me to agree to a lot of extra services I did not want. The price went from $147 up to $800 with all the extras. It took quite some time and talking on the phone with the owner to get them to listen to what I wanted and to have the tech finally get down to cleaning my furniture. He ended up doing a great job (Demetri) however his boss most certainly advised him to get me to agree to a much higher price. It was totally confusing for some time until I finally had to say No several times to them. The owner actually told me that if I recommended 3 of my friends to use his services he would give me a discount! And they hadn't even done the work yet when he asked this. I already had a coupon with the prices stated and they still tried to confuse me and jack up the price and services. Will never use them again or recommend them. read more

Run away from this vendor as fast as you can. My insurance company, Liberty Mutual, hired this company to repair my attic insulation after a raccoon infested it. The work was to replace all the attic insulation, upgrade the insulation, and clean out all the old attic insulation. They never gave me an estimate that I could read even after repeatedly asking for one, they were consistently late for work, and they only did replaced a 1/4 of the insulation with inferior insulation. I tried to give them the opportunity to fix their problem after I complained. They kept the payment and didn't do anything. Thank God my insurance company got another company to do the work. Since then they have been banned from further work by Liberty Mutual. Do not trust Wayne or Quentin with any work. Please feel free to contact me if you have any concerns or questions. Chappie the technician was great, he explained everything to me, walked around to see where all the vents and returns were. It is frustrating to even give this company one star. I wish I had read the reviews prior to using their services. I found out about their company through a mailer and easily called and setup an appointment. I was quoted $60 for carpet cleaning. When the technician got there he was very unprofessional but I already took the afternoon off in order to get our carpet cleaned so I went ahead with the scheduled service. He advised me that we had stains that needed deep cleaning and that the total service charge would be $209. I was shocked to hear such a significant cost increase but went ahead with the service because he was there and we needed it to be completed. Once he left the carpet was wet for 2 days, it smelled like mildew for a week, and none of the stains were removed. I called and complained and they set up another appointment for another technician to fix everything the following weekend. The Saturday of the appointment, no one ever showed up. I called and no one from the company even apologized for the inconvenience. Based on everything that occurred I requested a refund for my services. I called the company every other day for several weeks following that appointment to confirm my refund and they have continue to lie to me. Got a call stating they were running late and got to the house at 1:45pm. Our bill stated Deep Scrub Method LR, DR=50.00, Hallway=25.00, Pet Pee spots = 5.00 for a total of 121.70. We were not informed of the extra fees the bill stated-EVER. BUT it gets better! The machine broke down and they were unable to clean the main rooms- the Living and Dining room. They showed up with a box that had a machine in it- have had numerous house cleaning companies come and clean rugs but never one that showed up in private vehicle and coming into home with a box? They adjusted the price from $121.70 to 35.97, however, it was not worth that price. Buyer beware- if it sounds to good to be true - it usually is!
