They won't take your doctors notes on line. They bill you over $400 for a CPAP machine and then try to say they know how much you use it or even sleep for that matter. Then try to charge you more by saying you don't use it or don't use it enough. Scammers. read more

Went in for cpap evaluation. My 1st mask didn't fit too well. Melinda immediately knew the mask wasn't for me. She gave me options and got fitted for a mask I felt could work. Terrible customer service. Talked to a rep, I was told I was going to be transferred, waited on hold, then put back to beginning of the line to start all over with a new rep who asked me the same questions over again. The rep was asking questions that are right on the order from the doctor in front of them. read more

Everyone I have talked to at Quality DME has been fantastic, from the clinician who did my initial training and setup, my sleep coaches, billing folks, etc. I must give a special shout out to Emily W. (Operations Development Specialist), who has been the biggest help in answering my numerous questions in an expedient and very professional manner. She very quickly solved all of my problems and helped me so much. Emily is awesome!!! I'm so upset that I am forced to switch to a different DME provider due to my insurance changing. My Doctor's office sent them a prescription for a travel CPAP. I had already talked to my Insurance and they approved the purchase at 100%. This company, refused to call the insurance for authorization on a "Travel CPAP" despite me telling them to call. Apparently their excuse is that they have been denied by other companies before and now its their "Company Policy" not to call. They would not even entertain a request. After working with Quality DME for a few years, I need to downgrade my rating. They're still helpful for someone new to CPAP treatment, because they walk you through all the setup, but the billing company they use, VGM Homelink, is awful. The last straw for me was that they doublebilled me for my last order. They won't ship an order without payment upfront, and I have a credit card statement and an emailed receipt from VGM Homelink showing payment for an October 2019 order, but they sent me another bill at the end of January for the exact same amount. After 3 different phone calls, VGM told that the payment I made in October was for an order in September 2018. Even though the October payment was made on the exact same day my order shipped, and the order number on my receipt matches up, VGM insists I owe them more money. I paid again, but I will no longer order from Quality DME. Other annoying things: -At least in my experience, you have no choice over what equipment you get. They (or my doctor) picked a machine and mask, and I never got the option to try anything different. When reorder time comes around, they just send an email asking if you need more, but I haven't seen any way to try new masks. -VGM Homelink insists on doing everything by phone, no email or web portal, and it's not fast. You place an order through Quality DME, then a few days later, VMG calls you, tells you how much it is, and asks for a credit card to charge. In spite of repeated directions not to call me and do everything over email (they keep your credit card on file), they called me every single time. On top of that, they call to see if you got your order, usually a day or two before it shows up (they could just check UPS tracking). I ended up blocking their phone number. -There's a huge insurance upcharge on everything. For example, they were billing my insurance $300 for a mask and headgear, and I was paying $80. I discovered I could send my prescription to any of several online CPAP suppliers, and order supplies for the same price as Quality DME, without going through my insurance. read more

As far as the service site that set me up with my CPAP... I would say that was five star. Kaitlyn was very informative, helpful, answered all of my questions... No complaints there. My complaint is that upon making several calls to the helpline... My problems are not solved. I'm still getting water in the hose... After adjusting humidity controls... I am not able to get any information on my app... It seems it's a companywide problem... So overall, I don't really know if the CPAP is working for me. The hose is holding water and I have no information on the results... when calling the helpline ... I was left sitting on hold for at least 10 -20 minutes. I've been told that the long holds are due to the issue with the online reporting... So I'm not the only one that is upset! read more

I'm a new owner of a Cpap machine through Quality DME and so far all my experience has been good with the company! Adrian was the first lady I talked to as far as insurance issues and getting the ball rolling. She was great and we got through all issues in a matter of mins, 5 at the most. The next lady I talked to(sorry I forgot her name) set up the appointment for someone to come out to my home to set up the machine and give me a little beginner's course on how everything works. She also told me that I would get another call in a couple days about cost of the machine and what insurance would be covering, however I never got that call. Not the worst thing ever considering that I eventually found out that all costs are covered through my insurance, but still the worries of co-pays were a issue the last couple weeks. The last person I talk to today was Janelle! She came to my house to set me up! She gave me a walkthrough of the machine, my head piece, how to clean the machine, and much more. Janelle informed me that the headpiece that I was prescribed was not sent to her, but I tried the one that she had and it may be better than the one I used at the sleep lab! So I'll use that one until I'm sent the one I was prescribed to compare and decide. It was a pleasure to talk with Janelle, had many laughs, and most important she didnt mind that I had a dog. You just don't know how much easier it is when ppl are fine with pets around! She also stopped my worries when she informed me I was fully covered for everything.....guess my insurance aint the worst in the world!! Quality DME service is definitely not of high quality. They don't ship supplies when they say they will. I can check the tracking info after it arrives and see that they flat out lie about when it's shipped. Just one of several issues with this company. read more

I was sent to this company by my heart doctor. Ever since the start, they have been lacking in their response to me as a patient. Took over two months to get the CPAP machine. Only bright spot was the lady who went thru the setup and usage and the young gentleman who called to ask if the mask was working. Since then it has been a nightmare. They set me up for auto refill of supplies. Didn't work Called for supplies on 8 Dec - no show. Called on 20 Dec and was told the were waiting in the doctor to send paperwork - standard answer it appears. However after talking to them I was informed that they failed to send the initial 90 day supply of equipment. Asked for that shipment and was told no. Contacted doctor office and after three days the doctors office said it took them three emails for Quality to answer why and if they were going to ship the initial 90 day supply and to reorder supplies. Bottom line - they are shady and unless things change, WILL NOT do business with them! read more

The Tech was very friendly, and informative. Showed how easy to use my mask and machine.

They had no problem working with the doctor and getting my original machine. I did not have to lay a finger in order to get the "big" purchase. They now think they have me locked in and provide zero help. I abided by all the rules set forth and followed up with my doctor at the 90 day mark. Now they want me to jump through some hoops and claim to have no contact with my doctor. My equipment is damaged and they offer no help, even though it is covered by my insurance. I am switching to Apria, where they actually care and help you out. read more

I found Quality DME an excellent provider of durable medical equipment. When the doctor requested a rush fulfillment, they delivered! They got right back to us with a timely appointment. The technician thoroughly knew the equipment and gave an outstanding tutorial on its set up and use. He could not have been nicer, patiently fitting it and even carrying it out to the car. Again I tried to get a Cpap from Quality DME and they will not give me a new Cpap due to the recall. I received a letter from my insurance company that approved my claim to receive a new Cpap and they will not send me a new machine. This is the worst company ever to work with. I do not recommend them at all for medical equipment. It is one big red tape company who has no regard for the people who need there assistance. Only worried about money not the health of the people they serve! read more

The company did not provide me with recall information (a recall which is about that there's a chance the machine can cause cancer with the foam Phillips used to use breaking down) about my Dreamstation despite knowing about it for over a month. Soon after my CPAP training interview with Janelle, I was mailed a CPAP mask that I did not agree to using, and a mask I did not prefer. They never asked me what CPAP I preferred. The ASSUMED. I addressed this concern with Janelle, who provided the initial CPAP training, and Janelle stated that she would send the correct mask. I specifically asked Janelle would I be charged for this error. She stated, "No." And, I should not have anything to worry about. Her statement was not true. I immediately emailed her when I discovered that she created a new invoice that included a new payment/charge for the mask that she shipped to me, after she stated that it would be no charge. She told quickly referred me to deal with another department, and she did not have anything to do with the charge." Immediately after, she blocked her email from me after I emailed her again to get the correct department and person to dispute the fraudulent charge on my account. She never responded. Today, I got a reminder that it is time for Quality DME to ship out the parts to my CPAP machine; but only after I make all payments, including the fraudulent payment that placed on my account that I did not give consent too. Quality DME have shady practices, and I wonder is this why the Sleep doctor only recommended them with no other options for me to choose from - Adhesion? Be cautious when dealing with this company. read more

Well, years ago I had great luck with this company. They came out, setup equipment, ran it through insurance, took the copay and went on about their way. Needed new equipment since my old gear failed, and they were on it. I received a quote for the cost after insurance, but they were off and I ended up paying significantly more than originally quoted later down the road. I also wanted to pay in full but they required I make payments over a period of time. Finally its paid off and long forgotten, but a bill pops up in my mailbox for an additional almost 150+ dollars. I called and they stated that they made a mistake and I owe them more money. Now they've sent me to collections, so it's an entirely new set of problems. In the end, I've already paid $188.90 more through Quaity DME utilizing insurance than I would have cash out of pocket elsewhere for the identical model. On to AutoPay. It's confusing and after several of us reviewed the billing, there are three billings after the "final installment" that cannot be explained. Please review pricing before you agree to auto replenishment via insurance. All of which used to autoreplenished can be purchased on Amazon for less, without insurance, and at my doorstep within a couple of days. It's unfortunate that its come to this.. read more

This company never lets me down. I have been helped by Andy, Leyla and Walter. Each of them has gone above and beyond. My CPAP fit keeps getting loose and I find its hard to sleep. Everytime they have made an adjustment or changed out the mask and I'm fine for a few years. They make it very easy to send me supplies ,too. My wife and I have been using Quality DME for years now. It appears that the quality part is slipping steadily! I'm used to getting my replacement equipment for my cpap shipped pretty regularly and previously reasonably priced. After my phone conversation with one of their reps named Bun the other day I'm done doing business with this company. He was rude and didn't listen to my questions and was unable to answer the questions that I did manage to ask him. I was also told I'd have to pay near triple the costs of what I've paid before and triple the going rates of online stores. I've been told by quality dme that they've left messages for me when I have had no calls from them and I've just grown sick and tired of their lack of quality coming from their service. read more

The company has not provided any explanation on why it can't sell a medical device, other than the fact that there are shortages. It's not even offering to take my order paid out of pocket of other equipments not affected by the recall and put me on a waitlist. Several communications with no success. Other DMEs at least are giving 6-8 week lead times to fulfill orders. I do not recommend, go give your money to other DMEs willing to help. Edit after receiving response: you are clearly not addressing my point. I'm not looking for a replacement from Phillips and also not discussing insurance. Also, you have been pretty clear in communications that replacements are up to Phillips, not you. read more

Get ready if you have purchased anything because someone is going through all their bad accounting and billing you when you can't use your flexible spending account 3 years later!! I am not impressed with this company, as a Respiratory therapist who knows better, whenever you try to reach someone, no answer, some folks may have all day to be on hold. I have a office/warehouse close to my house and no one is ever there. I also did home care for Sentra, Eastern medical, and this was not how I interacted with my patients. I am calling now because the nasal pillows they sent are an updated version of the ones I use and they are not sealing properly. still on hold as I write this, poor customer care, this is not the first time either. had to walk into the local office to get my issue resolved. Finally, someone in the resupply department, got on the line after punched in their extension. the young lady was extremely helpful, even though she had to check with her manager to do an exchange of the wrong supplies, unopened as it was over thirty days. had to threaten with the insurance company for them to do the right thing. 2. The company did even reach out to me about the recall on my CPAP unit, granted I am in this line of work, I had to ask them about the recall, they have my phone number and email. read more
