They billed my insurance wrong and then when called about it, I realized they scheduled me for a second appt that wasn't even required, but was authorized by (the insurance company they billed incorrectly) so they were going to have me come in for no reason.

They're located on the 2nd floor. I had 2 visits and both Techs were very nice. The manager was also nice. They answered all my questions and let me know everything they were going to do. The room i stayed in the 1st night was spacious, with a tv and bathroom. The 2nd night the room was smaller. Its set up kinda like a hotel room. There's a recliner and the bed is a sleep number bed for your comfort. That's awesome that you can choose your own personal settings. It helped me sleep better. They hook all the necessary cords up to you and place sensors on your scalp, legs, and etc. They can monitor if your dreaming, having sudden body movements, stop breathing and more. They use the cpap machine while your sleeping to find a comfortable setting for when you use your machine at home. They will set you up with a DME company that will handle getting your cpap supplies, mask, and etc. There are certain qualifications you have to meet for insurance to approve getting your machine. They get you up around 6am to go home. The staff also offers a desensitization appointment where you get to try on several mask to see what works best for you. They were very helpful during the whole process. There is a camera in the room that your being watched on all night. The test is extremely thorough, and for someone (me) who was grumpy because I didn't feel like I belonged there, they still made it as comfortable as possible. The technician was extremely efficient. I had read that it could take as long as 90 minutes to get someone hooked up, but she was done in about 20. Throughout the night she was right there for me no matter what I needed and they don't mind if you need to take bathroom breaks. It is a simple matter once the leads are connected to the subsidiary unit. I hope you don't have a sleep issue. It is no fun. But with 50 million people in that situation, you may well be. Friday 8/23 I got a call from the office that my appointment for my crown will be canceled due to Dr Parks no longer taking general dentistry patients. My appointment was scheduled for 8/30 already a week past 30 days. Now I have to fine a new dentist that takes me insurance and can get my crown done ASAP. This is unacceptable to cancel care for a patient in the middle of treatment let alone with proper notice. I begged and pleaded for him to take me just for my crown because it is a time sensitive issue and he couldn't care less.

He advised most insurance companies don't cover the procedure without a prior authorization, and that it may be a little pricey. I was so glad I asked, and also that he was honest. He gave me the number to billing to sort everything out. The office is close to the freeway and easy to access. It was clean on the inside and plenty of parking. Something also many may not realize is in most cases they have communication with your primary care if you get prescriptions from them.
