I'm a Dental Assistant 31 yrs now and I had the privilege to work with Dr Marks for one day a few weeks ago while his assistant was out for the day. I am very Impressed with his staff and the way he performs his above and beyond Quality Dentistry. He goes a step beyond most. His crown preps were the Best I've ever seen in my career and his Root canals were picture perfect. I was not paid to say any of this. I've seen the good and the bad temping. Do check reviews, they matter. He is one of the Best Dentists I've had the pleasure of working with. It was one of the best temping days I've ever had. If his assistant was not there permanently I would work with / for him in a heart beat. I've worked with hundreds of Dentists and he is one of exceptional Quality when it comes to dentistry. He puts his heart into his work and his staff and it shows. A new patient came in with tooth pain and little money, we all know that feeling, dental work is expensive. His office manager presented to her a program I've never seen more accommodating for people with bonus perks along with it. The scale ranges from high to low he is pretty close to the middle. He is very fair when it comes to helping the dental public. It is so nice to see a payment plan that can benefit the patient the day the dental work is done. I would let him do dentistry on me any day. I truly would not give him 5 stars, when I know by seeing and assisting him he deserves Seven (7) Stars !! I am so glad I found Dr. Marks. I very much appreciate his rocket plan. This is so helpful for those of us that don't have dental insurance. Most dentists don't accept one year long payment plans. And the rocket plan will help stay on a regular dental maintenance. The thing I liked the most was how comfortable he and his staff made me feel. I have 'dentist anxiety' and the relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff helped a lot. His dental hygienist is the best! Very gentle, thorough and friendly. She also makes you feel at ease. Dr. Marks is friendly and very knowledgeable. He is professional while still maintaining a relaxed atmosphere, which made me feel more comfortable. And when I had to have a bad tooth pulled I am amazed at how fast and painless it was. I only had mild discomfort when the numbing wore off. It's been 5 days since the tooth was pulled and am shocked I have not had more pain and swelling. I haven't had to use prescription pain medicine since the first day, not even much Advil or Tylenol since. I had 4 wisdom teeth pulled 20 years ago by an oral surgeon and had a horrible experience with a tremendous amount of pain. So, I was expecting so much more pain and swelling when that molar was pulled. I didn't even feel the needle go into my gums...he is AMAZING! Nobody likes dentists. Not everybody hates them but nobody gets excited and says, "WOOO! Dentist time, baby!" But Dr. Marks is about as close to that as I've ever gotten. The waiting area is relaxed, comfortable, bright, and cheerful. The front desk staff is fantastic as well- pleasant, intelligent, understanding, and friendly. The hygienist that I've worked with is brilliant. She aimed for comfort, efficiency, and thoroughness without being rough about it and taught me some new techniques to manage my unique dental situation. Then there's the doctor. Doctor Marks rocks. I'm pretty sure he and I could be buddies pretty easily. My mom likes him, my wife him, my friends I've referred like him. I had a tooth extraction that took about 20 minutes and caused no pain. Not just during the procedure but afterwards. I think I took one of the pain pills he prescribed because the process was that good. My kid is due to pop out any day now and when it's dentist time, she's coming here. read more

In March I had a teeth cleaning that was about 5-6 years overdue. I have a severe anxiety about dental work after a very bad experience as a teenager with some fillings, but I could not have been more comfortable and at home! The Hygienist that took care of me was as kind as my own mother and incredibly gentle, regardless of the fact that she had to do some serious work to get my teeth in tip top shape! They were very sensitive to my troubles and anxieties and took every step to ensure I was at my ease. The front desk was very quick and friendly and made me feel welcome. I had a severe toothache on a Friday night, and called Dr. Marks office. He returned the call within 10 minutes! Dr. Marks and his lovely wife Lauren, met me there at 830pm that night! Dr. Marks took x-rays and diagnosed the problem, and made sure I was comfortable over the weekend. I went in on Monday for dental work. Dr Marks and his staff are truly dedicated, thorough, excellent at what they do. I went to see Dr. Marks for a crown and came to find out during the exam I needed all of my wisdom teeth pulled. So I scheduled a appointment to have Dr. Marks do the procedure himself. (2 impacted and 2 that had already come in) I was very nervous about it as I am not a fan of dentist but Dr. Marks and his team answered all my concerning questions with genuine care and kindness. Everyone there is very sweet and it feels like a small family. Dr. Marks does amazing work as I am all healed without any problems and expecting to come back for more work. Dr. Marks and the staff at QFD are awesome. It's currently 6:35 pm on a Friday, and Dr. Marks is in the office. He came in from home an hour ago just to check out my son's horrible tooth pain. He even called in an assistant to help. Definitly over and above, if you ask me! Apart from emergencies, regular visits are high quality as well. No one loves going to the dentist, but Dr. Marks and his staff help make the process as comfortable and painless as possible! I have been going here for about a year now. The previous dentist did some poor work that I have had to replace. I returned to find the new dentist and quickly learned to appreciate his customer skills. He took care of my re-work and then addressed some of the more challenging work, like my long overdue crown.
