So my husband and I used Quality fence to put our fence in our new home and from the beginning it has been nothing but problems the communication was horrible we would tell there project person something and it wasnt communicated to the workers they would show up whenever they wanted and didnt let us know when they were coming. We were told our fence would be installed one day and when we got home the fence was installed and no one let us know. That was not the only problem our fence was completed in Jan of 2014 and in March we started noticing some of the boards folding in from the top and bottom so we called Quality and of course no one is every there that you need to speak to. So i left a message with the receptionist a few weeks later I called again and same thing. So then I call again a couple weeks later and they tell me the vendor and the owner are going to come look at the fence and a few weeks more and nothing. I call again and am told that the vendor and the owner couldnt get together but the vendor said he would replace the boards that are folding and that Jeff the manager would be out to see them... a few weeks more and dont hear anything. I called today and asked the receptionist I havent been updated can someone tell me what is going on my boards are still folding and no one has updated me. She said of course Jeff is not in today can I take your name and number... so here I sit once again waiting for Quality to replace our boards it is now mid July and has now been abut 4 months since i made the first phone call. Please PEOPLE DO NOT USE QUALITY FENCE I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THEM FOR ANYTHING! THEY SEEM SO NICE AT FIRST TO GET YOUR BUSINESS AND MATCH PRICES BUT THEN IT GOES DOWN HILL THEY ARE THE MOST UNPROFESSIONAL COMPANY I HAVE EVERY WORKED WITH AND THEY SHOULD BE OUT OF BUSINESS FOR THE WAY THEY TREAT THEIR CUSTOMERS AND HAVE NO FOLLOW THRU IN CUSTOMER SERVICES OR WARRANTY. There seems to be a trend here for poor customer service. I made payment on Sept 13, 2016 with a 4-6 week installation estimate. It was finished in mid-January 2017, just a shade under 4 months! After 2 months when I called to check the status, the person that answers the phone talks down to you. Once they have half your money for the job, they don't care. Finally, in December I called to cancel my order and what do you know, I was due the next day (even though no one had bothered to call). My only fear is I have a maintenance issue and have to call that company again. Hopefully, another company can perform maintenance if issues arise. They are done getting my money. Without a doubt, this is the worst vendor experience I have ever had. I signed a contract at the end of June for a fence and was promised that posts would be set in 6-8 weeks and the fence completed another week after that. It took 15 weeks to get my posts set and another 2 1/2 weeks to hang the panels. I was lied to numerous times by the office manager, Cathy, who insisted the problems were related to their original installer having quit and needing to hire a new one. Shame on me for not researching more reviews since it turns out this is really how they do business. I've talked to numerous people who've experience the same delays once their deposit check was cashed. I was told "next week" so many times that I eventually lost track. And once the fence was finally installed, they didn't bother to hang the sign that's required for any warranty work. That took another 3 weeks, and they only came out to put the sign on because I wouldn't pay the balance until they did. Stay far, far away from "Quality" Fence. Quality fence Co is a terrible company! They seem nice and helpful until they get your money! We were told 3-4 weeks, but it took them 9 and it is still not finished! We were sent a final bill and it says the work was complete, and we need to send in a final payment within 10 days or we are charged a late/finance fee. They installed 3 gates with no latches! Was told install would be 4-6 weeks from time I wrote a check for 1/2 down. It has now been 3 months. I FINALLY got posts in ground, but no word on rails (wrought iron). I call nearly every day to try and find out something. Always get, "person who knows is on the other line" or"out of the office" or"in a meeting". NEVER get a call back. So frustrated. I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone, even my worst enemy. Sorry folks--you blew it. I do not recommend this fence company. I went with the lowest bid, and I got what I paid for. The fence was finished 2 months after its scheduled competion date. As for the customer service, they are the 2 most rude women I have ever dealt with. This company will take you money and offer no customer service after they have it. Having exactly the same issue as Ben F. We started process back in April and three months later all we have are posts in the ground, no fence. Crew has a list of excuses every time you call. Went in on a fence with our neighbor. Wrote a check on April 9. They called once to say they would call on May 5th with an update. By May 12th I finally decided I should call them instead. Finally they got out to install the posts....well, apparently the people that mark the power and data lines did a poor job and had to come back out....this cost another week. Finally the posts got put in....we agreed to put them on our side of the property line....well, that is what happened. In fact, they are well on our side so I will have to dig up and move a sprinkler head so it can work. Anyway, the posts were in and here we are a month+ later. I have not gotten a call or an update so I decided to call them. A guy answered and "took" my information so someone could call me. No one called. A week later I called again and the lady said the fence stuff should be in on Monday (the 23rd) and that we and our neighbors were at the top of the list. She also said we should be complete by the end of the month. Well, today is Friday, the 27th and we still have no fence and have not received any calls to update us. I emailed Dan, the guy that came out for the estimate....shockingly, I have not heard back from him either. The service we have (not) gotten has been terrible and I hope my review can help dissuade people from using this shady company. If I would have done this on my own...taking my time and setting one post a day, I still would have been done weeks ago. Edit: The person that gave 5 starts probably works for the company because this is a legitimate 1 star company Edit 2: If the down payment is needed so they can get materials ordered, why would it take 2.5 months for the materials? How is that possible when the estimate guy says "6 weeks out?" Unfortunately the installers left our yards before 3 p.m. to work on another project. I guess being behind 2+ months just wasn't enough justification to get the job done. I did not receive any update (as per the usual). On Friday I went home for lunch and noticed nothing had been done so I called the installer. And wouldn't you know it, their truck broke down...Interesting!!! He said he was on his way to the shop to see what the deal was and that he would call me to give me an update. Well, today is Monday, July 21st and I have not heard anything. I would love to use profanity in my post, but I will save that for when my neighbor and I discuss how big of headache and pain dealing with "Quality" has been. Worst customer service I have had to deal with in Omaha. They continue to tell lies on the phone on when they will be coming out to finish a project started over 2 weeks prior. Have been told many times that they will not be coming out due to another projects importance and that all crews will be on that project. Terrible!! I hired Quality Fence in June of 2013. They were about $300 more expensive than the other estimates I received, but the salesman was very nice and seemed very professional, and they claimed to able to get the job finished faster than the other companies could. I gave them 50% of the total up front and was told the fence would be started in 3-4 weeks. After 6 weeks, I called to find out why they hadn't been out yet (or why I hadn't even heard anything) and I was told they would be starting next week. Next week came and went with no sign of Quality Fence. Finally, in the 8th week since I had been told 3-4 weeks, I received a call from a man (who I assume was the job foreman) who told me he was supposed to start that day but wouldn't be able to make it so he would start the next day. He called the next day and told me that his crew had cut a cable at another job (not a good sign!) so he couldn't start my fence but he would "try" to get me on the schedule next week. I called the office and asked what in the world was going on! I was given a variety of excuses, including the whole crew had been sick, the rain and heat had slowed them down (I laughed out loud at this because there had been 1 single day of rain in July and this has been the mildest summer in recent history), but the woman assured me they would "try" to get started next week. At that point I had heard all I needed to hear to know that I should cancel the contract and get my money back! read more

I wish I had reviewed this company more in depth before we started... long story short.. $2300 deposit and contract signed in late March 2016... fence finally completed September 14, 2016.. yes that is correct .. almost 6 months after we started. Over the 6 months I estimate I made over 20 phone calls to either the office or the installer for Quality, each time I was given a different story and told they would call me back, this did not happen. Finally after many calls and countless frustration I filed a complaint with the BBB... we had posts installed a few days later but then nothing, we sat for 6+ weeks with just the posts in the ground. I finally got fed up and filed a complaint with the consumer protection office of the Attorney General's Office, we had a crew out installing the rest of the panels a few days later. Like I said.. the fence was completed Sept. 14, 2016.. now today Sept. 19, 2016 we received an invoice from Quality for the other half payment on the fence, it says it is due on 9/15/2016? It also says that they are going to charge 18% interest on any unpaid portion not paid by due date? Nice.. they held my $2300 for over 5 months and I get nothing but the second they get done they are ready to charge me 18%... Please take a moment to read the reviews on Quality Fence. You may think "oh these are a few years old, they don't matter". Take it from me the same poor service and rude people still apply. We signed the contract in late September 2014, gave them over $3500 with their commitment the fence would be completed in 6 to 8 weeks. We needed it by Thanksgiving. We got an email in late November saying they were running behind because of a crew shortage. We called several times and got the same response as noted in another review "Kathy is out of the office". So I went to the office in early December and guess what Kathy was out of the office. The receptionist told me "We are a small company and had to have a large enough quantity of your fence before we could place the order". Then Kathy called me back and said our fence was delayed due to weather and as soon as they had a crew available they would put me on the list. Our fence wasn't completed until last week in January 2015. They broke 3 sprinkler heads, left the dirt in a big pile, installed the gates wrong, etc. Then they had the nerve to call several times in the next 7 days demanding payment and threatened a collection agency at 10 days, even though Kathy would not return my calls . She refused to discount the $2200 balance for the delay. She told me " The delay was out of our control, we can't help it that we don't have enough people to fill our crews." I would never do business with Quality Fence Company of Lincoln NE. They stall, tell you lies, and then when you cancel, they try to keep 15 percent of your total cost of the fence. They are not to be trusted. They told me they did not have enough fencing material to do mine for a while. That is not what the Salesman told me. Salesmans name is Dan. Read the fine print. I do believe they love it when people cancel and they keep 15 percent. Most yards with the vinyl fencing costs around 5500.00. They can make the home owner wait and get upset. They still make money when you cancel. Poor business people and Kathy at Quality Fence Company seems more than eager to help you cancel your contract and keep 15 percent than to try and work with you. Get more bids. I got them because of Prairie Hill North is going to have them put up a fence on Adams Street and thought it would be great. Prairie Homes doesn't know when Quality Fence Company is going to start either. They told me that Quality Fence was suppose to start putting the fence up over 8 weeks ago. Dan the Salesman told me they don't have enough material. Sounds like a back door operation to me. Get everything in writing with any contractor or fence company and ask all the right questions.
