Whatever you do, do not stay here. Only reason this gets 1 star is bc I have no option for 0. Around midnight, the ceiling was leaking from the door frame and the light. We went to the front desk & her response was "how bad is it?" as if it wouldn't be a big deal if it was a small leak. She eventually let us know the toilet in the room above us overflowed and there was an inch of standing water. Absolutely disgusting. There were no other clean rooms available, so the front desk lady went and "cleaned" another room. I'd be surprised if she did more than just make the bed. It was late and there were no other rooms available in the county, so we stayed. The next morning around 9 am, I went down to the original room to grab the dirty clothes I forgot in the drawer. I opened the door to a room full of cigarette smoke, a man in the bed, and a woman in lingerie who yelled to me "Heyyyyy baby - you here to join us?" I ran to the front desk and started to explain to the woman who helped us the night before what just happened. Mid-sentence the woman and another assistant started hysterically laughing at me & told her the people in the room won't be long, they don't have bags, and will "probably be out by 1". When I expressed concern that I didn't want my stuff stolen, the front desk assured me it was fine, that the woman in the room was actually the manager and was "a little special right now." By the reaction of the woman at the front desk this wasn't a one off so who knows how often the manager does this. Do not stay here.

Honestly I'd give my experience 0 stars if it were possible. Booked my hotel a few weeks back. Me and my 2 other girlfriends were headed to a wedding and decided it would be a good idea to just call the hotel and make sure everything was gonna be perfect for our stay before we got there. Lo and behold when I called and gave all details I had regarding my soon to be stay, the hotel tells me that with my first and last name, booking number, card payment on file and receipt from the fact that my transaction had been confirmed. They had no information regarding my stay and they had only 1 room to offer me and it was a single bed room that we would have had to share between 3 adults. They didn't offer to refund me but instead told me I could pay more money for the room and dispute the charge with my bank. They also told me twice that they would call me back with a supervisor to figure it out and I had to call them back both times because I had received no call. Very disappointing. Will end up staying at the Oxford across the street. Much better service over there

Dirty and very out dated. Lobby was used to babysit the staff's children. I would not recommend.

This place is a diamond in the ruff. It is quiet, the AC cranks really good and the breakfast is good. I'd recommend anyone staying here.

The hotel has a large lobby with plenty of luggage carts for transporting baggage to rooms. The hotel is located in Silverdale on the Dyes Inlet, a lovely bay connected to the Puget Sound. There are lots of shopping, dining, and tourist activities in the surrounding area, as well as remarkable natural beauty. I absolutely love the waterfront views from this hotel, as well as the lovely pebble beach covered in driftwood. There are several paths for relaxing strolls along the beach, and plenty of places to sit and enjoy the sunset. The hotel offers a swimming pool and hot tub, however the pool was a bit cool the last few times I visited in the winter. Perhaps it will be a bit more enjoyable for peak summer visits - when a cold dip in the pool is most refreshing. The hotel offers complimentary bowls of soup in the evening, which is always a welcome surprise.

The room was very clean and comfortable, and we had a beautiful view from the balcony, which made the stay even more relaxing. The front desk staff were friendly and welcoming. Parking was also very easy, with plenty of spots and convenient access even for larger vehicles. One of the highlights was the included breakfast. It is buffet style with plenty of options. The coffee selection was surprisingly good, with different types of beans and flavors, along with a nice variety of teas. I really appreciated that they serve real eggs instead of the typical premade ones you often find at hotels, which made a big difference for me. Not forget to mention the wonderful Hawaiian lady in the restaurant. She is amazing and so sweet. My daughters and I just love her!! The only reason I am giving four stars instead of five is the pool area. It feels a bit outdated, the pool was not as clean as expected, and it is on the smaller side. The towels provided for the pool are also quite small. Since I usually choose hotels with nice pool areas for my daughters, this part was a bit disappointing. That said, I still recommend this place and would definitely come back again.

The hotel was very busy and the front desk staff was extremely busy. But they had the best attitude and could not have been better. Best Westerns has always been one of the most underrated hotel chains. We love staying in them. This one is big with great amenities, restaurants, parking and isolated away from any urban issues. Also has a beautiful view over looking the lake. Thank you so much Silverdale BW+ we will definitely keep you in mind any time we're back that way. One of the best hotel staffs we have experienced.

I was offered a room upgrade for the inconvenience. When I got to the room, it was clear that the room was occupied. The bed wasn't made, there was luggage and clothes on the floor - they gave me the key to somebody else's room!!! I travel for work, and often need to travel alone - there is NO WAY I will ever stay at a hotel that would potentially allow some rando into my room!!! I marched down to the front desk and demanded a refund - apparently this was due to the "system being down" or something. Uh, sure. I demanded a refund and booked a room at the hotel (one of the many, much better and similarly priced options) across the street. Never, ever staying at this property again. Frankly, I'd be weary of the Best Western name now, too. AVOID at all costs if you are a woman traveling alone, or if you are a family with children. This place will NOT prioritize safety.

They had a decent sized kitchen, fully equipped with a full sized refrigerator, dishwasher, and an induction cooktop. Pots/pans, toaster, coffee maker, dishes and utensils were also included. The staff were also very accommodating whenever we requested anything such as towels or dish soap, and if we needed their help with anything. They have 4 washers and 4 dryers for guests to use (I'm not sure if there were more upstairs). It was $1 for the washer, and 0.25 for 10 mins of drying. They offered a complimentary breakfast for guests in the lobby. Some of the items were individual sized milk, cereal, fruit cup, sliced apple packs, boiled eggs, pastries, and sometimes breakfast sandwiches. They are usually really good at refilling the refrigerated items if they notice it's running low....but get there early if you want your coffee. I usually picked up breakfast around 8:30-8:50 and sometimes the coffee canisters are already empty, which is understandable. It isn't a big deal because you can make a pot in your own room, or you can go across the street to the Mini Nex and just buy some there. The only problem I noticed with our stay was that the rug around the AC unit in the bedroom was soaking wet. We would turn the AC/heater off whenever we left the hotel but it would still be wet. We mentioned it to the house keepers and they put towels around it for about a few days, but it was still wet. We didn't mind too much because we were out and about most of the time so it didn't bother us. Even with this complaint, I still give our stay at the Navy Lodge-Bangor a 5 star rating because of the professionalism of the staff, and the price that can't be beat!

The rooms were reasonably priced. The rooms were very clean. Housekeeping staff were all great and kept our room nice and clean throughout our lengthy stay. Everyone at the front desk were helpful and professional but Grace at the front desk was amazing. Grace was friendly yet professional and went out of her way to accommodate our needs with an ADA room due to my recent back surgery and car accident after arriving to the area. The beds were extremely uncomfortable and so firm/hard that neither my husband or myself had a good nights sleep. Each morning we would wake up feeling like we were run over by a truck. The free breakfast was good. Very limited but worked fine for us. The coffee was terrible. The AC/Heater unit in our room was unpredictable, and made it hard to find a comfortable temperature to set it at. We had a few interactions with the manager, Elizabeth Levit. She was rude and unprofessional. It's obvious by her demeanor that she does not like her job. Luckily we didn't have to deal the manager often during our stay, but the few times we did were unpleasant.

Next she brought me, then we brought our kids, then I stayed here for 10 days while doing business in Bremerton... it has become our regular digs whenever we are in the PNW (Seattle area anyway). Each member of my family loved it from the first night's stay, and our appreciation deepens every time we go back to it. It is aptly named. Weather permitting, the views from "Bird's Eye View" are wonderful. When the place is socked in with drizzle and grey skies, the views are still wonderful-- Darryl and Jody keep the property garden-lovely in all seasons. It is equally lovely indoors, with a cozy Northwestern vibe that makes it good news to "have to" simply relax around the home. Darryl and Jody genuinely make you feel at home, too. Both are great hosts, open and friendly, yet unobtrusive when you need your space. You'll have a lot of space here too. At least one of the three bedrooms was more spacious than our entire 3-bedroom apartment back in LA, without even including the attached full-size bathroom! The main floor of the house is also available to guests, including the family room with its cheery fireplace and the nap-magnet couch. (I'll let you discover which of the couches is the nap magnet) It is easy to find, but the hill getting up to Kaster from the highway is respectably steep. Call Darryl & Jody before you come, if the weather is bad, and they will advise you-- there is actually another way to get up to the top of that hill, a much less steep way, but it requires some careful directions from your hosts. Your hosts, it must be said, are amazing cooks. The breakfasts here are delicious, wonderful, amazing, generous, and served in a dedicated dining room with linen, crystal glassware, candles and silverware, giving it a very formal and Northwest-elegant feel. (So, think cashmere sweater-vest, not tuxedo-vest). All sorts of happy anecdotes are coming to mind but I don't have the time to regale you with all of them. Suffice to say that you will love this place.
