I had a 4-5 star experience there until this morning at check out. For context, I have a dog and a cat, I informed the person of this over the phone when I went to make a reservation. No issue, informed that it was okay and that there was a 25 dollar pet fee per pet. Totally okay with that! I checked late at night on April 26th, 2026. The lady at the front desk was very sweet. She saw me walk in with my dog and my cat. She talked to me while I had my cat in my arms. Now to this morning, April 27th, 2026. Me, my father, my toddler, my 6 month old, and my two pets are getting everything in the car. The manager on duty, a lady with tattoos all over her face, saw I had a cat and loudly informed "What room are you in, I don't allow cats, I'm charging you 250 dollars" she then proceeded to charge me 100 dollars for pets fees and then charge me 250 under missing property with a note "cats aren't allowed" I just got off the phone with customer service who indeed informed me nowhere at all does it say cats aren't welcome, and confirmed pet fees are only 25 per pet. read more

Angela Carr is the manager of this hotel & she displays a very unprofessional attitude at the front desk. She really doesn't care if she offends customers & acts as if she's doing everyone a favor by answering questions. My husband & I inadvertently made duplicate reservations at this hotel due to duress caused by the passing of my husband's brother. When we realized we'd made this mistake after a few minutes, we called & asked to cancel the duplicate reservation at & have the cost refunded. Angela said their policy would not allow a refund. When we met her in person on the day of our reservation, June 16, Angela was at the front desk & reaffirmed the decision. She also was adamant about no check-in until 3 pm even there was a long line of people waiting to check in. Her excuse that the rooms were still being cleaned was invalid since we saw the cleaning staff leave work for the day. Quality Inn would do well to fire this rude, unprofessional person & hire someone who understands customer service. read more

Do not stay here. We were in the process of moving and needed a place to stay overnight. We made reservations by phone, and the process was smooth. When we arrived and tried to check in, we were rudely told that they required a $200, non-refundable cash deposit because we were locals. We explained our situation, and the front desk lady was even more rude. We did not have the money on us, nor did we want to pay that in addition to the ridiculously high bill. The lady was rude when I told her we would find someplace else. However, she did assure me that she would not charge our card. Surprise, surprise, they did. When I called about it, the manager Angela was nothing short of ghetto Cheyenne. She was flippant about it and refused to help. Not only that, instead lf giving me the number for corporate, she gave the number for Tesla. Before getting off the phone, she made it clear that corporate would refuse to refund my money. Her flagrant disregard for customer service is alarming. The owners ought to be ashamed. This place is terrible! I'm glad corporate is staffed by nice people! read more

The lady who said she was the "owner" was unprofessional when my husband first went to ask about checking in. The automatic front door didn't work. So my husband opened it manually and the Owner at the desk shouted at him, "you wrecked my door!" He was shocked and said, " It didn't work so I needed to open it." Then this lady ignored him while another desk person was checking someone else in. The room was clean but the unkindness at the desk really put a damper on our stay. Do NOT stay at this property if you have a reservation during a busy event in Cheyenne, as they do NOT honor reservation rates made on the Choice Privileges website. I had a reservation made 11 1/2 months in advance for Frontier Days, at an average rate of $117.72 per night. When signing the electronic guest register, I thought I was signing the rate for 3 nights, but they had changed the rate to $320 PER NIGHT!!! When I noticed the online credit card charge two days later, complained at the desk, but the general manager did not work weekends. When GM Angela Bryson called on Monday, she was VERY rude. Said I had signed the guest register, and that's what I had to pay. Didn't listen to that I had a reconfirming email 5 days prior to arrival with the rate listed. The way she acted, I'm assuming she was in on this scam! I have disputed the overcharge of $706, and am also copying this review elsewhere, as well as filing a complaint with the BBB. If they also tried to scam you, please also file your reviews here, TripAdvisor and other places. . I'm watching for other reviews, as this could be worthy of further action. read more

I traveled all across America and been to 49 states and always happy to be able to stop for the night at a wonderful hotel with such wonderful staff and a nice clean environment. I would highly recommend staying a night or two here when you get the chance. read more

We paid top dollar for this hotel during frontier days. There are cheaper and worse and for sure more expensive and nicer. We had room 109. Smelled of smoke Which we told to the front desk, because they made us sign something saying we wouldn't smoke in there.. Linens older and the room and furnishings as a whole were old and in need of replacement. Staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was on par with most of the other chain hotels who will give free breakfast. It did seem very clean and all of the items were hot /cold as expected. Very easy to get on and off the freeway to this hotel. Flying J is next-door. Uber's were very easy to call and get rides from this hotel. Uber's back home to the hotel were more difficult but that was because of concerts at CFD. read more

Stayed here to see the Ultra MAGA Rally Saturday night, May 28. The room was clean, and adequately supplied. The breakfast was really big, and good. The heater/air was good, especially since one night was hot; the next night was cold. The only problem was the 24hr McDonald's drive-up was near under our second story window. Late night customers with loud engines came by late night. I recommend it. read more

Had police escort us out of hotel thru side doors, charged us for the room. We have proof it wasn't us with phone records and she admitted she didn't know who did it but some MFer is paying for it and sorry it had to be us. And still wouldn't give us a refund! This is one of the best moderately priced hotels I have stayed in recently. The rooms are very clean and have microwave, fridge, and coffee maker. The breakfast has something for everyone. Booked this room passing through Cheyenne. I noticed they had a "Gold Award" well, thats a plus. I get to our room, they have an elevator tucked behind the office area and the room smelled like new carpet, a plus in my book. The room was VERY clean. Went to turn the AC on because the room was VERY hot and the AC puts off little air, thought I'd open the window, no screens on the top floor. Hmmmm. Could NOT sleep here. The beds were firmer then most Quality Inns we stayed at. The room was soooo hot all night long...tossed and turned. Heard people walking up and down the hallway. Maids knocking on the doors @9:00am. This hotel looks a lot better from the inside, don't be too quick to judge. The rooms are a little small, but have all of the essentials (microwave, refrigerator, flat screen ect). The hotel was not good. The worst part was the boogers in all of the information cards and books in the room. The exterior doors were all propped open for anyone to walk in. The pool was overflowing creating a river in the parking lot. The snack shel was almost bare. There was construction nearby, so it was very noisy plus the Highway noise, but the worst was the boogers. We left and lost all our money. read more

My wife and I found this location to be like a non-chain motel room. It was clean, but it is serious need of updating. For the cost of the room we expect more. This particular hotel is located near a truck stop and you can hear the drone of the idling semi-truck engines all night. We felt the hot water took a longer than normal time to make it to our shower. The room smelled like it was a smoking room which had been made into a non-smoking room during a policy change. Or, the site is older and the room is musty. The breakfast was acceptable but it was slow to be replaced when items ran out. They were out of decaf coffee. The muffins were hard. We like Quality Inn but we felt this location was quite a bit below average for the same money we paid compared to other QI sites. read more

This was my go to stop just to to price and access to the interstate. The staff do try hard and offer cookie hour in the evening. The staff are not super helpful though. I had someone try to call me and the woman said the transfer is broken so she brought me the number. Not helpful. Most recently the same staff member accidentally charged me for the room across the hall smoking. When I called the manager I got yelled at for telling her how to do her job, as if monitoring my credit card for fraudulent charges is overstepping my bounds. It took a call to corporate to resolve the issue. Avoid this place if you can until the replace the staff with people who care and can do their jobs. read more

So it's not much to look at from the outside & it's right next to a truck stop & major gas station but it's very quiet on the inside & the beds are really, really comfortable. & they accept large dogs! Hooray! The manager was super accommodating when we had an issue with the room after first checking in. & both she & some of the staff were really great about offering up some recommendations of stuff to do in the area. Our room was right next to the laundry room, so we did have some noise from that & noticed that bc of the proximity, the temp of the room did get a bit stuffy, but thankfully we could crack open the window & let fresh air in. Will never stay here again. The hotel was trashed and disgusting. Room looked like someone threw up on the walls. No hot water. Tub would not drain. Beds uncomfortable. Stayed one out of 3 scheduled nights. Checked out and was told I would be receiving refund for two nights. Has been 7 days of calling talking to GM Marissa and she keeps dodging my calls, putting me on long holds, and then telling me she will have to call back and never does. Horrible service. read more

Was a great hotel except for the breakfast. She was too busy clearing the dishes to fill anything on the breakfast bar. We got there at 6:30 and there was no hot water, no whatever meat had been there, and only 2 flat egg things left. Invest in some disposable plates and silverware so you can actually put food out. This was the worst hotel experience of my entire life. The room was dirty (candy wrappers on the floor when we walked in) and smelled. Housekeeping knocked on our door at 8:30, even though check out was noon. We called the front desk to complain (they couldn't care less), put our do not disturb sign on the door, and then they knocked four more times, and actually walked into our room twice - this was all before 10. Furthermore, the room decor was all from the seventies, which was fine other than the fact that there was no wifi and we paid over $100. It's about 100 bucks a night but I thought it was a great little stay. It's located right off the highway right across from a gas station. The front desk was helpful and the rooms were not bad at all. The breakfast has a lot of options and the person in charge of taking care of breakfast was so nice. Got here at about 9:30 pm last night and had to wait 15 minutes just to get a hotel room. When we finally got our room, turns out the room we got was messy as hell. So then we had to call down to the front desk and we got upgraded to a better room. It was a start; however, it does not excuse the scatterbrained service we had. The two people had to call up their manager (who wasn't even there, by the way) to make sure we got a room because we weren't gonna get a room in the first place but the manager gave us a room (which was another good thing). And finally, the continental breakfast. That's probably the only saving grace of this hotel. I swear if you're looking for a hotel to stay at with greater service, do yourself a favor and steer clear of this one. I get it, it was late at night (according to...Wyoming standards), but they need to learn how to do their jobs! Horrible. ABSOLUTELY horrible. I'm pretty sure that sometime in 1970s, someone ate a huge tub of mustard and tacky and then barfed up this hotel. Luckily nobody's touched it since then, so coming in is almost like opening up a time capsule. A really shitty, really disappointing time capsule...that gives you crabs. There is a complimentary breakfast tomorrow morning, but I heard that there is another one being served out of a gas station bathroom, and that sounds just a hair cleaner. read more

We stopped in for the night, and the room was around $100 plus a $15 pet fee. We booked online and ordered a king. When we get there, they have no kings, but only queens for pet friendly rooms. Why is it when you have a dog that you have to pay more to get less??? When we pull up to the side of the property to get our stuff out, 2 of the staff are smoking in the semi enclosed area to the main entrance where we have to walk through. Really??? You can't step outside??? The room was a little dated, and for $100 you would expect some HD channels too. Also, the chair was old, dirty and worn out, and the pillows were something that a toddler would sleep on. The micro waive would barely fit a hot pocket and looked like the prototype of the first one ever made. Bottom line: a $100 room should have some bells and whistles. However, it's a good business move given the oil and gas boom in the area, but bad for travelers. The most I would pay for a room like this anywhere else would be $40-$50... that's all it's worth. read more
