Double your housekeeping staff and sweep, polish, vacuum. Then store the stacks of unsightly banquet room chairs INSIDE of the rooms instead of the hallways. Then tear down the tacky printed signs that are taped all over the walls (they have nice metal room # signs, don't stop there!) Then find a tenant for the little café and re-open it, instead of offering the temporary "Chuck wagon" area for the continental breakfast. Finally, buy some NEW LIGHTING! In the lobby, hallways, and rooms. Way too dark and dingy throughout the property. ***No renovation needed, just some extra effort!!

There's an empty field in front of the hotel, where I saw a flock of geese in the early morning. Beyond the field, across the highway, are railroad tracks and so the trains roll by throughout the day and night. The rooms are clean and everything seems new. There is a full size refrigerator and also a table that could serve as a desk. Breakfast was standard fare. I arrived late morning and asked if I could get into my room early. They said I could but then said there would be a $30 fee for early check in. The nightly room rate was reasonable so I didn't mind paying the fee so I could get in and freshen up a bit before my noon appointment. If I come back to Cheyenne, I will definitely stay here again.

Spacious room that was updated with the new decor package, located off I 80 with easy access to downtown Cheyenne restaurants. Everything about the property was great but what differentiated our stay was the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. In particluar, we want to acknowledge Cassidy and Terry. Cassidy works the front desk and she went out of her way to let us use the on-site meeting room when a last minute change required us to find a place to meet. The room had more than enough space and had the required AV gear that allowed people to dial-in from around the country. We genuinely appreciate Cassidy for solving a significant problem for us before 8 am! We also want to thank Terry who works in the kitchen. Terry ensured the meeting room had water and coffee available for our meeting. Her smile was infectious and she ensured everyone was made to feel welcome. The pool was nice it was inside. The gym was smaller than what I expected. The reason for the 3 stars is for the nose - vibration and hum when I had my head in the pillow. Something was running all night. I was above th kitchen area so that could have been it.
