We had such a great stay in Cheyenne we would be giving them 5stars, but the breakfast was one the smallest and almost an afterthought. It was pretty sad. Aurora checked us in and she was so professional, kind and courteous. She gave us a gift bag for being a rewards member. Which let me tell you makes me so happy. It even had a little something for our pet, Seamus. The room was clean, spacious and had absolutely everything you would need. Overall, I wouldn't be opposed to staying here but this is not a $150 a night place. And stop advertising the pool as heated because it wasn't heated. My kids didn't care but they did say it was cold. We stayed here over the weekend and it was nice. There is a sign the first floor and some other areas are undergoing a renovation but those have nothing to do with the review. After leaving Denver at 930 because of cheer practice the day before a competition, it was a long drive and the check in was pretty fast. I chatted with the front desk and was told about limiting the pool to 15 swimmers because of covid but that was handled by only giving out 15 towels before checking on how many more could be handed out. We get up to the room and I got a pic of the goodies that await before going to bed. I didn't look it up but the qr thing in the elevator seemed like a great idea. Overall, the beds were comfy but like always, regulating hotel rooms are incredibly difficult and I never understood that. Everything was clean and I took the extra step of wiping down all surfaces with sanitizing wipes to include the remote. I don't personally agree with white comforters but I get they exude a clean image. Sweet baby jeebus does the shower have water pressure which was a nice change. Reason for 4 stars: the advertised breakfast is not very good and the eggs gave me digestive issues. The pool was cloudy which means the ph was off. The desk staff was not as attentive as they should be. A few times I was left standing there for several minutes. read more

No room cleaning services are provided due to "cost saving measures " according to their staff. You pay over $150 per night for a room and cannot expect for the staff to bring you fresh towels, replace your coffee nor empty your trash. This is the worst service I have ever received in any of the hundreds of places I have stayed in. You can find much better accommodations for less money. read more

The room was clean and everything seemed to work well. The staff was friendly. The shower was pretty good. The biggest problem was the WiFi. This area of Cheyenne didn't have a great cell signal so I really needed the WiFi and it was terrible. VERY terrible. I expect good WiFi for this kind of price. We were pleasantly surprised by the 10ft ceilings in our room! Everything is so much better than most hotels. The room has a fold out couch and a desk. It is very clean and modern. We couldn't hear anyone in the neighboring rooms. The bathroom is spacious and beautiful. The shower had glass doors with citrus shampoo, conditioner and soap dispensers. They give plenty of towels which are decent-not luxurious but are better than some. The shower head provides great pressure. The tv doesn't seem hd but it's acceptable. The bed linens are adequate. There are 5 acceptable pillows which I like. The room has generous lighting although the bathroom needs more. The pool is enclosed and small but good enough although it's on the cold side. The jacuzzi is for 6 people. It was hot. Pool and jacuzzi were very clean. There's a large bathroom in the pool area. There's an exercise room in the pool area. The hot breakfast was typical but had shredded potatoes which was different. Definitely a good place to stay. Sign up for best western rewards. You save some money. read more

The room was clean, quiet, and had all the amenities one expects of a hotel. It was very nearly a 5 star experience. However, due to an accidental double booking by the hotel our room, my group of three adults got bumped from a two queen bed room to a king + pullout couch room. As the person who took the pullout couch, I can report the pullout bed itself wasn't too badly uncomfortable, but the hotel was out of pillows in order to make the pullout couch. I borrowed one off the king size bed, but it did set back the comfort of the pullout couch rather severely. I wouldn't much have minded being bumped to a couch due to a booking error - it happens - but I did mind being bumped to a couch with no pillows. It could've been better. read more

This hotel is clean, convenient & you can't beat the price! I was worried when my husband booked a best western. This seemed newer & very well maintained. Staff was extremely friendly. We booked late at night as Laramie was full due to a football game. This will be our new go to hotel on road-trips to S Dakota. Comfortable, clean, friendly, safe, convenient location, helpful, indoor pool (awesome during a snow storm), most amazing bed to sleep in EVER! My son and I stayed here for two nights. Our stay was fabulous! The hotel was very clean, the front desk staff was kind, helpful, and fun to talk with. The rooms were clean, the beds were the most comfortable hotel beds I've ever slept on EVER! WOW! Very impressed! The shower had hot water which felt AMAZING since I suffer from fibromyalgia and need the heat to help ease soreness. Breakfast was yummy and lots to choose from, and the sweet lady serving had fun stories to share. Whenever we visit Cheyenne, this hotel will be our "home away from home". Really pet friendly. Pets got a treat bag! Grassy pet area easy to get to from anywhere in the motel. Everything was very clean and smelled nice. The whitest white bedding I've ever seen. I don't write reviews often but I do look at them when making decisions, I know it's impossible to please everybody and everyone's experiences may vary but this BW was one of the most enjoyable experiences I have had with travel and accommodations. The staff was very warm and friendly. Hannah at the front desk (I hope I am recalling right) helped me get settled in and situated right away. The Welcome bags are a nice touch. I had been traveling from TX bound for MT and hit a snow storm that forced me to stop for the night in Cheyenne instead of further in Wyoming. It was a long stressful drive through CO and all I wanted to do was get some much needed rest. The room was very clean and inviting. (I am writing this review while staying at another BW, which is about standard but the bar isn't as high as the one I just came from in Cheyenne.) Bathroom was clean and felt safe. It was exactly what I needed to clean up and get comfortable after a long day. The breakfast was amazing again In my experience I feel this owner and her staff go out of their way to do things a little bit nicer and a little bit better than most. Most standard hotel breakfast are no better than school cafeteria food but this was on par with a home cooked meal. Thank you so much from the front desk, food service ppl (also very kind) and even the house cleaning lady in the hall that went out of her way to say good morning to me while she was working and I was about to step into the elevator to check out. Traveling cross country with two dogs does not give you too many options. However, if you are going to advertise "pet friendly", it would be helpful to have the rooms available on the first floor rather than having to take the elevator. Just a suggestion. The real reason I am giving this hotel only one star is because the bathroom was growing mold on the ceiling. (See photo). Well, last leg of our trip. Home tomorro. We were tired of driving and looking forward to stopping for the evening. Our room even a little small was very clean. Pet friendly No restaurants around this exit but the clerk at the front desks quickly handed us a list of places that deliver. MrJims pizza was excellent! Oh...the fresh baked cookies in the lobby were a nice surprise ! Updating our review . We stayed here for 2 nights due to snow . The room was very clean and the entire staff for those 2 days were outstanding! They were very friendly and accommodating to our needs. Because of the Covid-19 virus breakfast was not being served,however, they had excellent Grab and Go bags . The morning we were leaving they checked our road conditions. The staff is friendly but the hotel is very outdated, the elevator seemed like it was going to break with just 2 people inside, the room's AC keep on vibrating like a beeper from the 90's, and the breakfast was mediocre at best. Made a last minute reservation here after the hotel we had a reservation at didn't have a working pool. The room is clean, the pool is sufficient, and the service was top notch. They made sure our room worked for us and helped us with canceling with the third party and we used (the third party messed up the res and the hotel made sure we still paid the same). There's not a lot of food options (unless your willing to drive 17 mins - then there are tons of places), but there is a subway & gas station next door which was super convenient. This is a tough review, if I had stayed one or two nights this hotel is awesome. Comfy beds, some friendly staff, nice pool. Great for a quick visit. Since I stayed 2 weeks, there were a few issues. Housekeeping came 2 times, only changing the bedding once even when we asked to have it done and made arrangements. We were out of coffee, clean towels and water cups. When I swam sometimes, there were no towels even after I asked. I went to my room dripping wet. There's no shower to rince before and after swimming so you have to wait until you're in your room. You should always rince before getting into a public pool. They have a nice small fitness area, but no scale. The toilet was slow flushing and when we called and asked for a plunger, we were told we had to get it ourselves. Some staff was amazing! They were friendly, helpful, trustworthy, I'd definitely stay here if it was no more than 2 nights. read more

The property is situated just off the I-80 freeway, several miles East of downtown Cheyenne, making it a quiet alternative for those who are just looking for a good night's sleep after a long day on the road. But it is still within a very short drive from all the attractions available in Cheyenne. From check-in to check-out, each person with whom we dealt was friendly, efficient and helpful. The room was clean, quiet and suited our requirements to a tee. The beds are comfortable with lots of pillows. There is a coffee maker in the room and also brewed coffee and cookies in the lobby during the evening hours. The breakfast bar area is handy and opening at 6 a.m., caters to the early rising travelers. It is situated near the elevator and the food choices, though standard, were above average in quality and freshness. I would not hesitate to recommend this Best Western PLUS Frontier Inn in Cheyenne, WY to any friend passing through the area. For this level of hotel, it was a strong five star stay! Friendly and efficient front desk staff. A quick drive to downtown Cheyenne and the delicious Rib & Chop house. Clean comfortable room with a nice big bathroom that includes lots of counter space and another shelf for storing items. Very good wifi that have me non problems. Very good breakfast. The pre-made omelettes had cheese only but they also provided ham, cheese and green onions that you can add. Waffles, bacon and turkey sausage, breads that included biscuits. Sausage gravy and green chile pork were also on hand. If I came through Cheyenne again, I would stay here again! read more

We are traveling with our dog, and we chose this hotel because they allow pets. Their pet policy allows pets to enter through the lobby, and pets can be left alone in rooms up to 3 hours. We stayed in a double queen on the first floor. The room was decent but small, and it has an awkward floor plan. Rooms are accessed from inside the hotel. The staff is amazing. We were greeted enthusiastically and welcomed with fresh baked cookies. They provided an extensive list of local restaurants who deliver, full menus included, and clearly marked which numbers to call. We made several trips back and forth to the front desk, and they always had whatever we needed (from wine bottle openers to paper plates). We've stayed at numerous Best Western hotels throughout the country; however, none can beat our experience at Frontier Inn. The staff takes pride in their hotel and it shows. read more

This stay was a mixture of very high highs and pretty low lows. The hotel was nice, the room was clean, the shower was great (especially nice after the last hotel in Casper), and the breakfast was great. The biggest problem was the internet. It was absolutely awful; the slowest I have had on this trip and I've been on the road for about two weeks. The other problem was the price. This hotel was quite overpriced for what it was. The location wasn't great, there wasn't really anything special about the hotel at all and anything that was good didn't really make up for the price and the shortcomings. Really enjoyed our 2 night stay. Right off of hey 80. Convenience store nearby, but not too much else. We had reservations and check in was very quick. Just a couple min. Plus fresh baked cookies available every afternoon, so that was the first thing we smelled when we got there, yum! We didn't use the pool or hot tub but the area was appealing. One of the best reviewed hotels in Cheyenne, and it is easy to see why. They had good, friendly, helpful staff (especially Amanda (?) at the front desk). Their breakfast during the COVID-19 era is well put-together, both in terms of service, and the variety of items offered. Room was clean and well-maintained. Such a great stay! We stopped by for the night on our way cross country from NYC to Portland OR. We traveled with my cat, and they werent just pet friendly, they were total pet lovers! Let me start by saying that they accept pets. I wanted to give this hotel a 3.5 but I couldn't get the half star to work and it's closer to a 3 than a 4 four a few reasons. 1. The wifi is terrible. That makes modern life a little difficult in an area that gets spotty cell coverage. 2. They only have one elevator. This creates a problem during high check-in/check-out times. 3. The pillows are more like throw pillows than bed pillows. They would be great for a pillow fight but not so much for sleeping on. 4. When the wind is blowing east you get the stench of the oil refinery wafting about outside. Fortunately I couldn't smell it inside. The hotel is across the street from a truck stop with little else around. Be prepared to travel 5 miles or so to go grab anything. I suggest order pizza from Mr. Jim's. They deliver to your room which is nice after a long day of traveling to the middle of nowhere. The beds aren't great but they work. The bathroom has a fan which is nice. The hotel is clean, everything except the plugin on the bedside light worked. I didn't eat breakfast but one is offered free of charge. All in all I'd stay here again if I were in Cheyenne. read more
