I would not recommend a Quality Inn to anyone. But for myself, I will continue to return for two reasons. First, the price is very economical. Keep in mind, you get what you pay for. Second, on the complimentary breakfast, they have the best waffle batter. Other Yelp reviews are spot on. On this occasion, telephone was broken, fire alarm was broken, television didn't work (mismatched remote), and key card didn't always work. We booked two nights for an MS cycling challenge nearby. We were looking for a value priced place with good reviews close to the Talbot Community Center. The beds were comfortable, room was clean and totally sufficient for our needs. The front desk staff was amazing and so friendly. Last minute decision to tack on some time on a camping trip that fell over the Fourth of July, but spontaneity kicked our butt since hotel rooms were suddenly very expensive. We ended up booking here and although the overall reviews weren't great, we were OK with an OK stay since we paid an OK price. Cons - check in by staff was very easy and they were friendly. The room itself was adequate - nothing fancy and we happily used the fridge. Didn't really turn on the TV, but don't expect HDTV. Bathroom / shower was fine. We stayed for 2 nights and were told in advance that housekeeping would be on an as needed basis upon request due to COVID. read more

Comfortable and clean hotel :-) New owners, friendly helpful staff, new furnishings. We reserved a few days early, and the hotel accommodated our request for the upper floor of the two floors, facing the courtyard pool. The room was perfectly clean and fresh. The bed was more firm than medium and was quite comfortable with many firm lofty pillows. We were quite pleased and got a good night's rest. There is a nice breakfast with a waffle machine. The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel has new owners who are refurbishing everything. I will say that the bathroom in the room was quite small and there was no enclosed closet. In mid-Jun, make that reservation! They were full when we checked in. Price was $179 plus taxes and fees for a Sat. night, which seemed high for the mid-range facilities, but was among the lowest nearby for this range of hotel. It must be high season, or maybe there are local events filling all the rooms. read more

My four stars for this property reflects the fact that we enjoyed our stay and the property met all our needs. From the check-in to our (free) breakfast buffet the next morning, everything about this place was totally satisfactory (except that the outdoor pool wasn't open but considering this was January, twas expected!). The front desk staff was friendly and fast with our check-in. The room had all the required elements, including a heating system that ramped up very quickly. The mattress in our room was not quite as plush as we are used to but again, for the price, was fine. The included breakfast was wonderful. Eggs, bacon and my special hotel waffles & sliced banana. BED BUGS PRESENT May 2023. I was staying at this motel because I was attending a fundraiser event the following morning at 6:15 AM. I experienced a bed bug bite at midnight and located the bed bug in my bed. I reported this to the front desk and they offered me another room. I requested a full refund of the $200 I paid for the night, but the manager would only refund me $80 because "I did stay the night." This was extremely disappointing. Having traveled frequently in years past, I've had to treat my home for bedbugs twice. This is costly and traumatic. Please respect your customers and be decent enough to offer a full refund. I won't be staying here again. read more

Nice Hotel and easy to drive to from Deleware and Maryland. Twenty minutes from St. Michaels, Maryland. Room had handicapped bathroom. Bed was large and bedding kept us warm, even on cooler Fall nights. A little musty when we walked on, but after turning on AC, the smell disappeared. 2nd night, we noticed small netted bags with fragrance pearls on them. Rick, behind the front desk was very friendly, knowledgeable about the area and touristy stuff. Continental breakfast was included with the room. Lots to eat, easy to make and best was the Jimmy Dean egg, Cheese sausage sandwiches. Within walking distance, across from the Hotel was Denny's restaurant. read more

Worst hotel I've ever experienced. Shit and piss stains on the roll out couch, the room was very musky and I can barely breathe, bugs crawling on the floor and idk how anybody could stay here. We had to leave after being here for about an hour, it is disgusting. read more

I'd like to give them more stars, because the room was clean and comfortable, the service was friendly, and the complementary breakfast was pretty good. But the room smell of cleaner/disinfectant was so overpowering that I asked to switch rooms, but the 2nd was just as bad. This is only the second time in a lifetime of hotels that I've had to make a switch because of chemical smells. Don't know if it was just an off day for them, or an ongoing issue, but it sure put a damper on what would have otherwise been a fine stay. read more

I'm giving it 3 start with many qualifications. The breakfast was excellent and the woman kept the coffee filled and the food was replaced as needed. We had a problem with our toliet and they moved us to another room, the front staff was friendly and did move us. I was told that the motel had been recently sold and was being remodeled. The pool was very nice with towels provided and it was kept clean. The bed was comfortable. The room was clean, and that's about all you can say about it. I wouldn't recommend you stay there until they refurbish the rooms. The walls were repaired, but not painted leaving white plaster exposed. That toliet also had a problem, the gentleman from the front desk came and fixed it - sorta. The door to the bathroom was splintered. The vinyl floor was cold on the feet. For the price we paid, the room should have been redone before renting. If we go back we'll find another hotel until they do the rooms. read more

Forgot a motel is a drive up to the room but worked out fine. Quiet. Breakfast was large and coffee great. appreciated the kind staff. We reserved a room for three days in Sept. 2019. Upon arrival found the room to be unacceptable(rug dirty, broken lamp, could see light all around the outside door and there was construction going on outside our room) Told the desk we wanted another room and they advise there was none. Then told them we would cancel the reservation. after run around with clerks(who were rude and liars) and Choice Rewards we were charge for the one nite(that we did not stay- alleged hotel policy) Told we should have cancelled the day before????? Would not have known condition the day before as we were still at home. The clerks we met when we checked in were not only rude but the little blonde lied to our faces when she said she cancelled the reservations. Finally spoke with the Manager a day later who was capable in handling the matter. However she stated the Hotel policy was you had to cancel the day prior to checking in regardless of situation. Feel this is an asinine policy as you don't know the condition of the room a day ahead of check in. Will never stay at a Quality Inn Hotel again and will hesitate using my Choice card to book a stay. Will also advise all of my family and friends of this situtation. read more
