I've been a diamond member for a long time, accidentally booked for the week on the wrong date under the "non-refundable" no cancellation option, and Nick, the regional manager refused to cancel, despite having the power to do so, which is my naive assumption, at least give your customers a legitimate reason why you "can't", and you might be met with understanding. This is the first time I've had a problem with any of the Choice line of hotels, and I've never come across management who stuck to such rigid hotel policies, accidents happen in the digital world, and compassion goes a long way with me. With all that said, this place is alright, decent location with a market and a couple restaurants right next door, some covered parking when available is cool, pool area is nice, place is clean, TV was a good size for the space, fire stick took to the wifi with no problems. Other than Nick blowin smoke up my booty with his no-can-do attitude, I might book here again, but with caution of the option I select. read more

Worst hotel ever!! Where do I even begin... for starters there is not an elevator. We had to lug up our ice chest up two flights of stairs. Then we opened up the door to our room and a musty smell slapped us in the face like they haven't used that room in years. Then we had to clean up water on the floor and the white towels were BLACK when we were done cleaning the floor. We asked for more towels because we used them for the water and they gave us dirty stained towels. There was ants and cobwebs in the shower on the wall and window. The pool absolutely dirty and disgusting. Continental breakfast was just waffles and orange juice that's it. To top it all off we all have bug bites from the beds. Do Not Stay Here. To start, we reserved a Deluxe room for one night and were given a Standard room. A $50 difference. Nick, the manager, would not not refund the difference. The room was horrible. No hangers in the closet. The electrical outlet for the hair dryer and coffee maker was dead. Light bulbs were missing in the lamp fixtures. The AC unit was poorly secured to the wall. The security latch on the door was falling off the door. The toilet paper holder was non funtional. The bedding was old and worn. The floor was dirty. The exterior of the building had visible cracks in the structure. Rodent holes were everywhere. The landscape was dirt and dead plants. The ice machine was old and dead and unsanitary physically. Payed over $300 for two nights, and the room is filthy. The digital clock does not work, there are multiple lightbulbs that also don't work, lots of stains on the bedding, curtains, and walls. Overpriced for the quality. They charge $100 for a cleaning fee and not only are their stains everywhere, there is so much dust and even a few cobwebs. The only reason I'm giving two stars is because of the front desk worker who helped. I showed her the pictures, and explained how dirty the room was and she immediately apologized and tried her best to offer a better room. She even showed the room to make sure it was okay beforehand. So I really appreciate that and her efforts, she was very kind and understanding. This experience is just beyond disappointing, the management is the only people I can really blame. Unfortunately the workers can only do so much. How are they supposed to clean such a dirty chair or curtains? They need to be replaced, and all of the rooms need to be inspected for quality and cleanliness. Because this is not it. One of the worst and dirtiest hotels I have ever stayed out. We have stayed here before a couple years ago but it's gone down hill. Room was filthy, sticky carpet you did not want to have your bare feet on, mold in the shower, holes in the ceiling/walls, garbage in the room, paint coming off the walls, TV didn't work, outside grounds have not been maintained in a long time. Buckle up for this one. This is the Quality Inn of many surprises. My wife's family had a memorial service last weekend in Fallbrook and the MIL booked a block of rooms here sight unseen for those of us converging from parts all over the states. Wife and I arrived well last midnight to find the keys to our room demagnetized. Front desk clerk was nice enough to reprogram for us and as soon as we stepped into our room in noticed a combination odor of smoke, mold and mildew that almost distracted us from the various stains on the black tiled carpet. Oh well... I figured 'oh well' it's a budget motel and since we didn't have foresight to review the arrangements, we'd just go along to get along. As soon as I lugged our things from the car, my exhausted wife turned down the bed. She immediately began shaking and calling out as she stood wide eyed and frozen, pointing at the pillows but unable to use words... I figured she had to be mistaken and overreacting to whatever she thought she was looking at so I quickly snapped a couple of pics to calm her down. Upon expanding it became clear to me that she wasn't mistaken and I too felt the heebeegeebees wash over me. Once we understood that it was too late to make any other options, I went back to the front desk in hopes of switching rooms and discreetly shared the photos of the 'occupants' to the desk clerk who was shocked and extremely apologetic. She was very quick to find us another room and give me a key card. The remainder of the pics we shared are of that upgraded room. I'd rather say less from here since the words I'd use here would not be very pleasant. The pics however speak for themselves. Also: - seems like it was a nice place at one time.. has a pool and spa in a tiled courtyard setting -the quality phones in rooms don't work.. at all (-1star) - imagine if you had a motel and the cleaning staff took the year off (-1 star) - I've stayed in some sketchy places over the years but this place set the bar (-1 star for Quality) -clerk was very nice and did her best to be accommodating (1star) - whatever those bugs are (-) There was no adjustment offered to MIL for everything that was unacceptably wrong ... read more

I'm not usually one to complain but when in this case, I can't hold my tongue. This is ABSOLUTLEY the worst hotel I've ever had the misfortune to stay!! Don't let the pictures online fool you like they did us. My girlfriend and I were driving back from Palm Springs on a Valentine's Day weekend getaway when we decided to add another day and spur of the moment stay in Fallbrook to visit a winery there the following day. It was late at night so we booked online, checked in, got our room key and went to the room (#216, I'll remember it forever). For starters we booked an upgraded king room and were given a standard double bed room. I went to turn on the TV and the TV remote was missing it's battery cover. We noticed the room was very cold and noticed that the door to the balcony was wide open when we went to check it out, more on that later. I went to call the front desk only to find out that the telephone didn't work. I called the front desk on my cell and notified them of the door and the phone, the clerk said it was routine to leave the sliding glass doors open. Since it was late at night, we just went to bed. The next morning we wake up and now with the light of day could see the DISGUSTING conditions we were exposed to. I look up at the roof to see exposed live wires protruding from where the non-existent smoke detector should have been. With the issues with the phone, the sliding glass door and the remote, this was super alarming so I started going through the room. I went to the bathroom only to find the previous guests dirty sock hanging from the shower curtain!! I went to check the dresser and the top drawer had spare change and a battery, but the bottom drawer had a white plastic mystery bag inside. I grabbed a hanger because I didn't want to touch anything barehanded. Inside the bag was dog food and dog treats! Clearly the previous occupant had been living there with a dog and the reason the sliding glass door was wide open was to air out the damn dog smell!! I saw the balcony and it was full of piss and hair. We checked and the mattress was also piss stained, the coffee maker still had the old coffee grounds still in it, there was a mystery packet of something in the corner under the A/C unit, a greasy hand print on the wall and a filthy mini fridge...we stopped looking because we were getting nauseous. I'm not a germaphobe but I wanted to take a shower in hand sanitizer to get the gross off of me. It cannot be acceptable to rent a room in this condition, but in this era with all the COVID-19 protocols it's especially heinous. The front desk person was very apologetic and sympathetic. She also told me that from her experience, the hotel management wasn't going to be refunding my money nor doing anything regarding compensation. Unfortunately she was right, my emails have gone unanswered and my calls ignored. Stay as far away from this place as possible, sleep in your car, at least you won't possibly get hepatitis C from your car!! read more

I have never been to a more disgusting motel in my life. I was with my 2 daughters and booked this place because we were in town for a wedding, and it was centrally located. I walked into the lobby and was immediately hit with a overwhelming cleaning product smell. I looked around and notice missing trim on all of the baseboards and the dirty carpet leading up the stairs to the hallway of rooms. We received our key and headed upstairs to our room and the hallway door wouldn't open. Someone who lives there went around and let us in! We walked in the room and noticed a massive water stain on the ceiling that was poorly patched, and the windows were so musty and dirty that you could barely see out of them. The one thing I could see was the roof title crumbling! I did not feel comfortable staying there, so I went downstairs and asked to speak with a manager. The woman at the front desk called a manager on the phone, but they refused to speak to me. I asked for my money back and told them I did not feel comfortable staying there with my kids. They still have refused to give me my $260 back even though I didn't stay. They said the best they could offer was $50! Oh, and there was a beehive with a swarm of bees over the "Quality Inn" sign! NOT QUALITY. This is the worst place I have ever stayed. It was filthy. Garbage was piled up and spilling out of every trash can on the campus. Cigarette butts littered all the walkways, including a spit bottle that we had to walk by each time we left our room. There were crumbs on the carpet between the bed and nightstand and the bathtub overflow drain was a gaping hole. The facility laundry door remained open and you could see how dirty the "cleaning area" was. I never leave bad reviews and often feel like bad reviews are the result of picky or crabby people, but yikes, you guys, this just had to be said. The worst part is that we were here for a family wedding and we invited family to join us. How embarrassing. I had to stay here for a month while my flooring was getting redone. This hotel is in a great spot, right next to the 15 freeway and the 76 with a gas station right down the road. It also has a grocery store right next door that you can walk to! And not to mention great food right next door; quality prime rib, amazing pizza, and great burgers. Also there's a golf course about 5 minutes up the road. The architecture of the building is pretty, the staff here are super nice, they made my time there comfortable and easy. Natasha who works the front desk is super helpful and will help with any problem. They were doing lots of renovations around the place while I was there; painting, landscaping, treating the pool. It's looking great. Keep in mind-you're not paying for the most extravagant stay of your life here, it's a little hotel off the road. But the people are super kind, you have everything you need within walking distance, and the rooms are a comfortable size. I would stay here again! read more

Was attending a Veteran's Day evening event near Fallbrook and booked a room at the Quality Inn for the evening. As I was checking in my wife received a phone call and stepped out to take the call. I completed our checkin paying our room with a credit card and my wife returned a minute later stating there was a family emergency and we needed to return back to Los Angeles. I informed the receptionist what just happened and she said she was not able to issue a refund, I had to email the manager and request a refund. We didn't even leave the office, I returned the room card and we left. On the drive back to Los Angeles my wife emailed the hotel manager explaining what happened. Within an hour we received a reply from the hotel General Manager denying and refund. What was odd the email was signed as "Nick General Manager" but the email was from a Pratik Patel. . The company I work for provided this hotel for me , however they made an honest mistake. To start off , at check in I was given a room already occupied and saw a half naked man upon entering which was really surprising and awkward. Second room given, was where it really went down hill. Upon entering the room as seen in the photos provided a dead Crock roach welcomed me, that they didn't even bother cleaning off the wall, yellow unknown substance on the wall ,dry wall patches which were all over the place, carpet was literally hanging on a thread, and the bath tub which was just filthy. Went to the front desk an made the complaint of the room and ask for a room change. The from desk manager reported that the room hasn't been used for a while so that is why it was filthy, however when she called one of the house keeping staff members the house keeper had indeed cleaned the second room I was assigned to. The night before so we could get ready for the wedding and the night of so we could drink and enjoy ourselves using a quick Uber ride back. We arrived late and we were left with no choice but to stay the first night. I was appalled by the outside. Dirty, paint chipping, damaged and smelly. Inside smelled old and stale. Due to the dim lighting we knew it was gross but the true grossness was apparent in the daylight. Blood stains on the curtains, splatters on the bathroom walls, stained carpets. But what threw me over the edge was the bed skirt. I cannot believe we slept in that bed. I'm horrified. We packed up and forfeited the money and drove home after the wedding. Do not recommend staying at this place. The bed sheets were covered in stains along with the pillows, curtains, and shower curtain. The toilet didn't work and the locks on the doors were broken off. The ac was also broken with the inside exposed.
