I travel with my 2 small dogs. This place was the only one I could find that was pet friendly. Room 112. My key card didn't work several times to open the door and had to have them replaced twice. It was a real dump. Torn curtains held together with Bobby pins, exposed light in the ceiling, dirty bathroom ceiling fan with light that had several dozen dead insects left in it. The walls are a grimy weird greenish brown. My dogs had their own beds I brought with me. Lucky them! I was hesitant to sleep in the bed. I slept in some clothes and picked clean (or perceived clean) towels to put over the pillows so I could sleep.I was so tired from driving all day, I didn't want to try and find another place so late in the evening. I got a headache after about 30 months in the room and just chalked it up to being tired. Oh no. The next morning I'm sneezing like crazy along with a headache and itchy red eyes. My dogs were itching too.. Who knows how or if they clean this room but I'm guessing I was exposed to cat hair (I'm allergic) and chemicals. Do not stay here. It is truly a dump. The only thing I felt was safe enough to eat at free breakfast was a sealed container of yogurt. This place is in stark contrast to the Choice hotel I slept at in Fruita, Colorado. read more

My wife and I are quite experienced travelers, domestically and in Europe. I have spent weeks in Asia. Staying at this 'Quality Inn' proved to be the worst hotel/motel experience of all. The nightmare started at the front desk. I handed the rather inattentive guy at the check-in desk a printout of our reservation and payment for two rooms, side-by side. We were traveling with another couple. When he tore himself away from whatever was so interesting on his phone, tapped a few keys and informed us how sorry he was that we only have one reservation. WHAT?? Yep, the computer doesn't lie. Only one reservation found, despite a computer printout of our reservation and payment for two rooms. His name was Fernando or Fredrico, and he informed us we, the guests, would need to fix this problem, since he can't. I told him I am not trained on Quality Inn computers, and expect him to find and rectify whatever the problem was. He became quite belligerent and very angrily told all four of us that he can't help us. Maybe his supervisor can. I spoke with her, Julia Torres, and explained the situation. I handed the phone back to our very hostile check-in desk employee. He grunted into the phone several times, went back to his computer and found the other room. Where was it? SURPRISE, right next to the first room he found. Untrained, or maybe just a slow learner. I've never been so mistreated by hotel or motel staff. The room itself was large and mildly dingy, but the bathroom was tiny. The air conditioner roared mightily, but produced no cold air. It roared like a freight train and there was no way to turn the damned thing off. Room temp never got below 86 degrees during the day. We decided not to experience further hostility from staff by reporting this failure, and just suffered through it, spending time cooling off in our friends' room. Outside it was 96+. The tub would not drain sufficiently during showers, resulting in ankle deep dirty water. My wife refused to use it, but our Uncle Sammy provided far worse facilities in the past for me, so I used it. Fearing more anger and hostility from staff, we did not report this issue. We also shunned housekeeping during our stay, fearing that once again, untrained or untrustworthy staff would enter our room. As a former real estate broker, I couldn't help noticing abundant deferred exterior maintenance around the property, which was consistent with the lack of computer training and customer service by the front desk. Obviously, management at Quality Inn just doesn't care. It was a horrible stay for us, the worst we have ever experienced. The anger and belligerency exhibited by the front desk guy was inexcusible, as was his lack of training on the company computer. These are failures of corporate management, for sure. We will never consider a Quality Inn again. read more

Honestly not impressed with this place at all. Didn't look like any of the pictures I had seen. My boyfriend told me (after I got here) that this is the place he had stayed at before and saw roaches everywhere so I got a little grossed out by it all. I went to the nearest Walmart and bought a bug spray for the bed and a bonnet so my hair isn't touching their sheets and I bought another blanket to sleep on. I personally didn't see any bugs IN the room but our room seemed to be the only one that had the air conditioner like this. (I think) The screen looked like it was about to break, it easily could have happened if somebody pushed on it to get in. The bathtub was a nightmare, at first the water wasn't even working then I tried again later and the water wouldn't turn off. I didn't end up showering because of it all. The breakfast isn't good at all either. I wouldn't recommend this place, you definitely could get a nicer hotel for the price they have you paying ! On the plus side, our key stopped working so we went to the front desk and the lady was very sweet and fast with what we needed! read more

We called by telephone in advance at 9pm on Thursday to make a reservation for Friday night. When we arrived at the hotel, the front desk informed us that they had created a reservation for Thursday night and we were no shows. Instead of apologizing and fixing their error, they refused to give us a room for Friday AND charged us for the room they mistakenly booked for the wrong night. We have now talked to the day manager and the hotel manager and they have refused to issue a refund for their mistake. By refusing to issue a refund, they are calling my husband and I liars. I'd like to ask however...which scenario seems more likely: 1. Your late night employee clicked the Thursday calendar option accidentally instead of the Friday one. 2. We missed our hotel reservation then tried to force the hotel to give us one on Friday night, knowing we were lying about the date. When the hotel could not book us a room on our false date, we then politely tried to fix the issue with the hotel general manager, even sending photographic evidence of our call logs. We did all this knowing we were lying about our original reservation. SERIOUSLY!!! Give us our money back and have an iota of customer service. So so unhappy with the people at this hotel. read more

We were supposed to get a room with a king size bed They stuck us in a double Then they moved us to a room with 2 Queens. The A/C was broken so they had a little portable Frigidaire stuck under the window Only 1/2 of 1 outlet worked so we had to go buy a multi outlet power bar. They had WiFi but it was unsecured so we couldn't get on the internet. Used my cell phone to call my Mom and it kept breaking up so I had to go outside to use it. One lamp was broken, the 2 other lamps had 25 watt bulbs in them, couldn't see a thing. We had to go by 75 watt bulbs so we could see. They did not come and clean our room until Wednesday and we arrived on Sunday. Instead they brought me clean sheets and towels and I had to clean the bathroom and change the linens. Microwave did not work properly I will (in the words of Taylor Swift) never, ever, ever, stay at a Quality Inn again. read more

Ceiling fan looks like it hasn't been cleaned in the last decade. Has crusted on dust bunnies from when Will Smith was still playing on playgrounds. Rooms have very little light. Darker than the grinches lair. Water pipes from the units around us were growling all night. A lot of musty, mildewy smoke smell for a smoke-free hotel. Business center? Yeah... A single computer with a broken printer. Right by the freeway, so that's convenient. As long as your not planning on sleep. Hot tub was out of service. Water was orange-red when first turning on the sink. No fitness center (could've checked that before booking). Breakfast was at least on par with other budget hotels. I know I shouldn't have high expectations for a 2.5 star place, but my goodness... How does this place have more than 1 star? UPDATE: Day 2 So much for acceptable breakfast. We were some of the first into the breakfast area. No milk. Ran out the day before and the "order was delayed". There's an Albertsons across the street. Couldn't send someone to get milk? Breakfast area is also way too small to handle even the most average season traffic. No maid ever came in to clean and tidy yesterday. Laundry services? As long as you brought your own laundry detergent. They don't have any whether you were willing to pay a premium or were hoping for actual laundry service where they provide it. They may have the most amazing laundry facilities you've ever seen. Wouldn't know without detergent. Oh, and happened to glance at their food handling permit posted at the entrance (rarely even notice these things, but this place has me reeling a bit): expired last year. Definitely paid less than most people staying in the area this weekend, but another $10 a night would been worth actually getting the services this place falsely advertises to have. I have a pretty low standard of expectation from a place like a Quality Inn. This location very easily and significantly came in beneath that low bar. read more

Disgusting horrible hotel. We entered the lobby today 7.6.22 and asked for a room. We got the keys and to our room right away at 4:30pm. The room was inhabitable. We immediately went to the counter to request a new room. It was equally as bad. Horrible bed, super dirty carpet . We went to lobby said we wouldn't be staying and wanted our money back. He said no refunds after 4! He didn't care we checked in at 4:30 and immediately told him both rooms were filthy. There is no "quality" in the rooms or service! Do NOT stay here!!!! read more

My review is about the same as Red N's. Comfy bed, pool and spa close to rooms. But..... 1. Entrance to rooms is from street 2. Breakfast is the worst I have ever experienced. The only egg option is a hard-boiled egg. Cereals and waffles are the main offerings. And the orange juice out of the machine is terrible. 3. Some of the sockets in the rooms don't work. 4. Our clock kept going to 12:00. We reset it about 5 different times, but it wouldn't stick. Took it to the lobby for a replacement, they said they didn't have any. 5. Remote for TV didn't work. Took it back for new batteries. Didn't have any, but they finally found another remote that worked. 6. No plastic bags in closet. 7. No overhead lighting. 8. Furniture is very old and should be replaced. 9. They still use bedspreads. (Is this 1980?) 10. All the artwork in the hotel is terrible, if I'm really going to pile on (which I guess I am) One of the employees said they know the hotel is falling down, but management doesn't seem to care. read more

Very basic room. We didn't need anything fancy since we were only there to sleep and shower. We didn't even have time to take advantage of their free breakfast because we always left too early in the mornings. Plenty of parking and front desk lady was friendly. I def recommend staying here if you plan to drive to the Grand Canyon North Rim or Antelope Canyon. This is located right in the middle and is only a 2.5 hour drive or so. It's also about 2-3 hours from Vegas if you fly in like we did. read more

Stay here at your own risk! The night we checked in, they BROKE INTO OUR DEADBOLTED ROOM at 3:15 in the morning! Deadbolt was locked, no phone call, no knock on the door, just all of the sudden we were abruptly woken up by someone walking in on my family - including two children. No apologies were given by the staff as we promptly called the police, filed a breaking and entry report, packed up and left. To this date they are still arguing over this incident. This location's management has denied a full refund, lied about what occurred, hung up on my wife, and is now non-responsive to our or corporate Quality Inn's follow-up calls. The front desk was helpful we had no problems checking in our out. It wasn't expensive and it was clean, there was a fridge and microwave which is why we went with this hotel over others. The gym wasn't finished even though it was heavily advertised. The hotel was about 2 minutes away from the mall which was great we went to the mall and walked around for over an hour. There wasn't anything particularly cool about the hotel, nothing bad either. It was eh... it seemed clean even though we found the TV remove behind one of the beds so not sure how well the beds were cleaned, other than that it seemed fine. read more

We spent one night here on a road trip. The room was clean and comfy. No complaints there. My complaint is about staffing and efficiency at the front desk. The problem was a 15+ minute wait checking in when we were very weary. Seemingly no back up help for the pleasant young man. And we experienced the same time-consuming problem the next day checking out and getting a receipt. There was confusion in the computer as to how many nights we stayed. I explained one night, but we had pushed the reservation date. Still problems. The woman at the desk claimed computer/printer problems and said that was routine. Others attempted to assist to no avail, but I think they were all cleaning staff. Finally when my stack was about to blow, I asked for the manager, Mr. McGregor. I was informed he was "busy". I will find another lodging on my return trip. Traveling can be frustrating enough without these type of unnecessary delays. read more

We checked in around 11PM on 7.3.2016 and Tina Cordova helped us check in smoothly and efficiently. Even though her shift had just started and she must've been tired, she had a huge smile on her face and welcomed us as we walked through the doors. She mentioned the promotion that he company was having and also reminded us about the breakfast hours from 6-9 AM. She also offered to switch us to a floor room when she heard I was traveling with my parents so they wouldn't have to carry the suitcases up to the second floor. I have friends who work in the hotel industry and the graveyard shift is often brutal, but Tina Cordova did an excellent job! read more

I booked a room through Priceline for this hotel and today I called the hotel to see if I can upgrade to a "newer" room. The gal at the front desk was unfriendly and unwilling to let me PAY to upgrade! She said I can call Priceline and cancel. WHAT?! You'd rather I cancel than help me upgrade my room?? So I called priceline to cancel, they called the hotel to confirm the okay to cancel and the hotel told them no, they won't cancel. I called back and spoke with Brett who said there is nothing he can do and hung up on me 3 times!! I asked to speak with the manager Kyle earlier today and then again this afternoon. He is apparently MIA or refuses to help customers. I can see why this hotel has such horrible reviews and I haven't even stayed here yet! My family and I had a great stay there. We were in town for Thanksgiving and they were busy, but the service was excellent when we checked in and when we checked out. I reserved two nights at the Quality Inn Red Cliffs, and when I checked in I requested to have a third night added to my reservation. They accommodated me and explained that the third night would be the same price as the first night and that Thanksgiving would be a higher rate. I was fine with that. When I checked out my bill was higher than I expected. I voiced my surprise and explained what I had been told when I checked in and added the third night and the manager immediately updated the price to match what I had been told. The room was clean and comfortable and was cleaned and straightened each day we were there. I plan on staying here again in the future. read more

I'm writing this negative review because I talked to the front desk during our stay regarding many unsatisfactory issues and the VERY NICE girl at the desk was in total agreement with me regarding a discount on our room, but her manager wasn't there. I tried calling the manager when we got home within a few days. ... still not in. Then I sent an email to Kyle as suggested by the hotel. No reply! Therefore, I'm sharing our experience. Made a reservation 2 months ago. When we checked in at 3:30 the young man said he could only give us a handicap room and couldn't change anything to accommodate our original reservation request. That in itself was not a problem. The room, however, had a bad smell, the air conditioning was VERY noisy and also had a bad odor. Then at 4am we heard all kinds of voices coming from next door, only to find out later they had put us right next to the breakfast room! Evidently there was a marathon going on that day and they were feeding the marathoners at that time! Maybe it would have been a good idea to put some of them in room 118. We use Choice Hotels a lot, but this was the worst! read more

I've now stayed at this hotel twice within the past 2 weeks and felt like I was staying at 2 completely different hotels. We decided on this hotel because they advertise having wi-fi and a fitness center. First stay: My boyfriend and I were given a 1 king, non smoking room as requested. The wi-fi worked perfectly on multiple devices but we did not have a chance to utilize or check out the fitness center. The decor and furniture in the room was a bit outdated yet comfortable and clean. Also, the continental breakfast was fine. We decided we'd stay here again if needed... Second stay (about 2 weeks later): My boyfriend and I were given a 2 queen bed room which smelled of cigarettes when we had requested a 1 king, non smoking room. I was unable to detect any wi-fi network and was told, upon struggling to contact the front desk through the in-room phone, that they did not have wi-fi in the part of the hotel I was staying at (they only have it available in the new building of the hotel.) I found that strange because I was staying in the same building as my last stay. The front desk lady told me I could go to the front desk to pick up an ethernet cord if I would like internet access. Since we were staying for 2 nights this time, I wanted to utilize their fitness center only to find out that it is currently being built. ...At this point I'm just confused because there goes the 2 amenities we chose this place for. On top of all the misinformation, our room never got cleaned. The only upside to this visit was that the decor and furniture was updated and more modern. But we did find a few small hairs within the sheets and bedding. GROSS. We will not be staying here again. read more

It's 1:30am I have been traveling on the road for the last 7 hours. When I arrive at the Quality Inn I was greeted by friendly staff and quickly checked into my room. Immediately I get showered and ready to crawl into bed. When I find hair...human hair on our pillows and animal hair in the sheets. Of course the hotel is booked and there are no other rooms for us to be moved to. The last at the front desk explains "oh I'm sorry you must have been put in a room that wasn't meant to be used.... Wow!!! Do Not bother to ever come here for the amount of money we paid for this room isn't worth it. I've stayed in plenty of really nice places for the same price. This was a huge disappointment!!! I just need a clean place to sleep so I could continue the last 6 hours of my road trip. read more

My partner and I stayed here in October of 2017. When we first arrived, we were off to a rough start when our "non-smoking" room smelled of strong cigarette smoke. We promptly called the front desk, where we were greeted by the manager on duty (Kyle, I believe his name was) and he was able to get us a new room. After a long drive from California, we greatly appreciated his hospitality; not only did he get us a new room, but he upgraded us to an executive sweet. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The only thing I would suggest to management is to provide more than 2 body towels (4 would be great). Also, for you In-n-out lovers out there, it is just across the street so you can easily walk to it. Oh.. and don't have high expectations for breakfast, lets be honest, when is a continental breakfast ever great? Overall, I would stay here again. read more

The staff was friendly. The manager cancelled one nights reservation for me since I had booked the wrong hotel (supposed to be in Hurricane.). I stayed here two nights. The pillows are horrible. Small soft things that take atleast two or three to make a normal size pillow. The bed was comfortable. The lamp next to the bed had a female plug to charge a phone or whatever but it was hanging out of the lamp with the wires exposed. The ring for the shower sprayer was coming off so there was a large gap behind it to where it goes into the wall. The sprayer was also way to low so I had to hunch just to wash my head (I'm 5'11".). One of my towels had sand colored spots on it like someone had dirty hands placing it or something. The doors into the building were supposed to be accessed by key but didn't work so anybody could get in the building. I got there late both nights so got up after the breakfast so I can't speak for it. When I did leave the hotel there was a nice old present (a condom) outside the door I used (it was on the far side of the building so probably didn't get used a lot but that's where I parked). read more

I didn't even get a chance to stay at this hotel to have a horrible experience. I have asthma that reacts badly to cigarette smoke and I have a 4 month old baby. We checked into this hotel at 3:30pm, went to our room and it smelled very strongly of smoke. I called down to the front desk to ask to be moved and they did not apologize, said they didn't have a room to switch me to and told me I could stay somewhere else but the town was full so I probably wouldn't be able to find another room. This was at 3:30 in the afternoon. There were 3 other cars in the parking lot. When I asked the desk clerk if they could switch me rooms with one of their arrivals that had not checked in yet she said she "didn't know how to do that." Wow. When I went to the front desk to check out because I obviously couldn't stay here, (plus why would I want to) I was told to call and talk to the manager, Jeff, in 3 hours. I called back 3 1/2 hours later and let the phone ring for 8 minutes straight and no one ever picked up the phone. It is obvious that the staff of this hotel is not trained properly, does not care about whether their guests are satisfied, and they do not answer the phone when they are busy. As a manager at a choice hotel in Moab, UT I would never accept the type of attitude or performance given by these severely sub-par employees. I even offered to show the desk clerk how to move me to a different room since she apparently didn't know how to do her job and she said she wasn't allowed to let me do that. I would rather drive back and forth from Cedar City for the next few nights for the event I'm attending in St George than stay at this sorry excuse for a hotel. read more
