The SpringHill Suites has the potential for being a very good hotel but, little little things like their housekeeping stop them. My wife was annoyed that there was "yellow" water and urine stains on the toilet. The bottles of lotions seemed to be open or used. They did get rid of their Paul Mitchell Tea Tree soap and shampoos and have replaced it with the Marriott special. My wife must've been in a good mood as she did not demand another room. The front desk staff was good. They acknowledged our status making my wife happy. This Springhill is in a nice area of St. George (Washington). They do not skimp on breakfast. Eggs, potatoes, bacon and sausage(both turkey and pork, biscuits, fresh cut fruit, waffles, bread and pastries, oatmeal...I'm sure I missed something. They had all this out on the same morning. Many of the Springhill's have cut back and will not serve as much as this one did in one day, instead they will rotate the bacon and sausage on different days. We didn't spend time outside, but the outside is nicely decorated with firepits and lots of seating area. Their pool and jacuzzi is still one of the nicest ones with a firepit inside the pool itself. I would give them 4 stars if they didn't have housekeeping issues. With their housekeeping issues, I'm giving them 3 stars.

Checkin was simple and short. Yummy complimentary breakfast, plenty of choices. Staff were very polite and friendly. Great scenery of the palm trees, huge golf courses and beautiful red rock!

Very nice stay! Staff was very friendly and the hotel is very clean. The room was very comfortable and the beds were wonderful. The breakfast was nice and plentiful. We didn't use the pool. We will definitely stay here again.

With a good view of the mountain, golf course and pool.

The place looks clean, spacious and has good amenities. The pool was great with heated jacuzzi on the side. Great for family with kids. Best part for me was the gym and the quality of equipment. New and clean. I would recommend this place and would come here again if in the area.!

    Loved the pool!!

LOVED THIS HOTEL!! Not only was it amazing but the service from EVERYONE was too! From the front desk to the housekeepers, honestly, thank you all for an awesome experience. Loved the pool!!! The pool has a few different shallow entrances perfect for families with small kids, lots of chairs, a few cabanas and great atmosphere.. the pool is big enough to accommodate a crowd, big jacuzzi too! Awesome with the fire pits too! You have to get the towels from the front desk fyi! Our rooms were clean and comfortable! Perfect for the family! And they have one of the best continental breakfasts too! Loved the plenty of seating area and the staff really let you enjoy yourself. It had a beautiful view of the golf course too. You're so close to all the food spots too! I would highly recommend this hotel when you visit the area. It really made our father's day weekend and now we know where we are coming when we visit from now on!

Booked directly through Marriott weeks in advance but were not notified until we were on the road that our room had been switched without notifying us and that the room we paid for was unoccupied but no longer available because that room type was sold out. This was frustrating in and of itself but what was truly unexpected was the lack of compassion and customer service. The man who appraised us of the situation was downright rude and said we were "not high enough on the totem pole" for him to fix it since we were only Gold Elite and that we were outranked by Titanium and Platinum members. We were going to ask to speak with the manager, but he identified himself as the manager. Maybe this location overbooked and he was stressed out and didn't know what to do, but being rude to people is not the answer. We've stayed at this location many times in the past and never been treated so poorly. Hopefully this review helps other people to be treated with kindness and respect.

This is one of the best Marriotts I've stayed at! Google ranks it as a 2-star hotel, but it's more like 4 or 5. This is a good option to stay during your visit to Zion (~45 min drive). The hotel is modern and brand new, inside and out. Staff are super friendly as well! We stayed in a 2 king suite, which was spacious and complete with 2 TVs and a walk-in closet. The outdoor pool/hot tub/fire pit area was the highlight of our stay - definitely pack a swimsuit and check it out!

Couches are so dirty (milk? Crunchy dried stains everywhere).

DOUBLE CHARGES AND DIRTY SHEETS. Beware if you stay here that they may double charge you and will NOT refund you. We stopped with our small kids after thanksgiving break on our way home. Huge mistake that cost us so much time, money frustration. First we got in around 11pm and the room was dirty. We were moved to another room and it was even dirtier. We moved back to the original room and changed our own sheets. The front desk was aware of all of this. We left early in the morning and never even used the shower because it too was dirty. This is not the marriott experience we expect and we actually paid more to stay at this hotel than other places in st George because it seemed newer and we wanted to check it out. When we got our credit card bill we found that even though we paid through Priceline for the room, Springhill Suites themselves had charged us for the room. When I called them at first I was told I was out of luck because they couldn't find that they had charged me. After getting information from my credit card company, I was able to prove they did charge me and give them the folio number. Brandy at Springhill Suites then told me that folio number shows a charge for the same day under my name, but claimed it was to a different credit card than mine. At this point I am beside myself that Springhill Suites would just keep arguing that they should double charge me. I explained that regardless of credit card numbers, they have received payment twice for the same room and need to reverse the second charge. Brandy claimed she had no way to reverse the charge and I would have to dispute it with my credit card company. My credit card company said the hotel needs to reverse the charge as Mastercard allows hotels to put charges on your card for "services received" and they cannot reverse the charge without the hotel doing it. I contacted Marriott's main number/website and all they would do is forward the information back to Brandy at Springhill Suites in St George. She would then say she was so sorry for the frustration, admit they charged me again, but say sorry and they can't refund. This is an endless loop and I find it hard to believe that MARRIOT has this sort of system where they cannot find charges, cannot reverse charges, don't know who's credit card they charge etc. I provided proof through credit card statements and I again will say the hotel room was already paid for so they should just refund the double charge period, but won't (or can't as Brandy kept telling me). I feel like I've gotten the run around and they have put their mistake on me to fix. This is bad business and marriot should train their employees better and fix their system. This whole experience is so dishonest to me- I took my kids to visit family for thanksgiving and marriot stole from me and claim ignorance of how to fix it. In all reality they should have reduced what we initially paid through Priceline because the rooms were unnaceptable. I'm not on Marriott's payroll, but found myself doing maid duties and then paying them twice for it. They should do their job and have made this right, but here we are 6 months later and not a word from Brandy or anyone from Marriott. I hope they enjoy their stolen money because I will NEVER stay at this hotel again. Be warned to check your credit card bill if you stayed here and don't think because you paid through Priceline or a different website you are safe from them charging you again nor will you get that money back. Totally scammed me and Marriott let them.

65 decibels for the AC. Apparently that's as loud as a normal conversation, so it's like trying to fall asleep with someone talking.

It's okay, but I definitely won't ever stay here again. We checked in a little before midnight and have to be on the road again by 5 a.m. When we got to our room (w/ 2 kings and a trundle), the room was warm and stuffy, so I turned the AC on. I moved the ottoman to pull out the trundle and there was popcorn on the floor. It was like housekeeping didn't even try. I then went to the closet to get the linens for the couch and trundle and there was only one set (you need one for the couch and one for the trundle) and it didn't even have a fitted sheet. I called the front desk to ask for another set and he told me we would have to come get it. I know it's midnight and they probably only have one person on duty, but it still felt annoying. After getting everyone situated, I finally lay down and noticed the AC unit is SOOOO loud. I don't know how I'm going to fall asleep and we need it on since the room feels stuffy without it, so...I decided to write a review instead. We specifically wanted to stay in Washington since we are heading north tomorrow. It was between this hotel and the Best Western Plus Settlers Point, which was $40 less. I chose this one because the beds were kings instead of queens, but it doesn't feel worth it. We'll stay at the Best Western Plus next time.

    Ipad time outside!

Very clean and handling the Covid-19 requirements wonderfully! Rooms are very nice and big. Beds are so comfortable I didn't get up till 8:00am. Bagged breakfast was well balanced and good, coffee is hot! Doug was amazing at the Front Desk, I had three rooms all checking in at different times and he was a pro!

First of all the hotel staff including the front desk are unfriendly and not welcoming. The only employer I saw smile was a man named John during breakfast. Speaking of breakfast. The pancake machine is broken half of the time. The juice machine.... only OJ works. Apple and cranberry juice shoots out water. The tables are not wiped down until breakfast closes. On the bright side, the food is always full. This is a smoke free hotel. Sort of. Hanging out by the pool you can smell smoke and at one point the elevator reaked of Marijuana. Pool time. My kids have enjoyed the pool. However, do not trust the hand rails by the pool or hot tub. They are not sturdy and you will fall down if you rely on them. Also, I have been slightly annoyed by hotel staff using the pool while guests swim. My daughter got smacked on the head by an employees daughter who was using the pool. Pool chairs are broken and torn. Our room. It is in general a lovely room. There is plenty of space for our family. There is not enough drawer space. The closet is useless with only 4 hangers to use. The chair in the room is broken with the leg bent upwards. The moment you attempt to sit on it, you instantly fall forward and onto the floor. Why is this even in the room??? It is an obvious hazard. Part of the problem is that these were the same or similar issues we experienced on our visit over a year ago. Things just dont seem to get fixed and that is why I am leaving this review.

My key card didn't work several times to open the door and had to have them replaced twice. It was a real dump. Torn curtains held together with Bobby pins, exposed light in the ceiling, dirty bathroom ceiling fan with light that had several dozen dead insects left in it. The walls are a grimy weird greenish brown. My dogs had their own beds I brought with me. Lucky them! I was hesitant to sleep in the bed. I slept in some clothes and picked clean (or perceived clean) towels to put over the pillows so I could sleep.I was so tired from driving all day, I didn't want to try and find another place so late in the evening. My dogs were itching too.. Who knows how or if they clean this room but I'm guessing I was exposed to cat hair (I'm allergic) and chemicals. Do not stay here. It is truly a dump. The nightmare started at the front desk. I handed the rather inattentive guy at the check-in desk a printout of our reservation and payment for two rooms, side-by side. We were traveling with another couple. When he tore himself away from whatever was so interesting on his phone, tapped a few keys and informed us how sorry he was that we only have one reservation. WHAT?? Yep, the computer doesn't lie. Only one reservation found, despite a computer printout of our reservation and payment for two rooms. His name was Fernando or Fredrico, and he informed us we, the guests, would need to fix this problem, since he can't. I told him I am not trained on Quality Inn computers, and expect him to find and rectify whatever the problem was. He became quite belligerent and very angrily told all four of us that he can't help us. Maybe his supervisor can. I spoke with her, Julia Torres, and explained the situation. I handed the phone back to our very hostile check-in desk employee. He grunted into the phone several times, went back to his computer and found the other room. Where was it? SURPRISE, right next to the first room he found. Untrained, or maybe just a slow learner. I've never been so mistreated by hotel or motel staff. The room itself was large and mildly dingy, but the bathroom was tiny. The air conditioner roared mightily, but produced no cold air. It roared like a freight train and there was no way to turn the damned thing off. Room temp never got below 86 degrees during the day. We decided not to experience further hostility from staff by reporting this failure, and just suffered through it, spending time cooling off in our friends' room. Outside it was 96+. The tub would not drain sufficiently during showers, resulting in ankle deep dirty water. My wife refused to use it, but our Uncle Sammy provided far worse facilities in the past for me, so I used it. Fearing more anger and hostility from staff, we did not report this issue. We also shunned housekeeping during our stay, fearing that once again, untrained or untrustworthy staff would enter our room. As a former real estate broker, I couldn't help noticing abundant deferred exterior maintenance around the property, which was consistent with the lack of computer training and customer service by the front desk. Obviously, management at Quality Inn just doesn't care. It was a horrible stay for us, the worst we have ever experienced. The anger and belligerency exhibited by the front desk guy was inexcusible, as was his lack of training on the company computer. These are failures of corporate management, for sure. We will never consider a Quality Inn again.
