IF YOU LIKE: * A check in process where you have to read instructions to get your key from a kiosk because the owner "has a bad knee" and can't be bothered to assist you in person * A trip-hazard of poorly laid concrete patch on a decrepit walkway * A noisy fridge that has food leftover from a previous occupant which calls into question the overall cleanness of the room * A loud AC unit that runs non-stop until you shut it off, giving you the bonus option of a hot room * A shower drain that is slow such that you're standing in backed up water * A hot water supply that may or may not give you hot water for your shower * A bed installed close enough to a wall that you have to sidle to get in it * A kitchenette with no cookware or amenities of any kind * An alarm clock alarm that's set to ON by a previous occupant but not turned off because (per the owner) 'it's up to you --not up to hotel staff -- to think to check it' * A lot of hotrod traffic racing up and down the adjacent street until 1am THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU! I complained to management about most this (the stuff that's within their control) and got back a response taking no ownership of any of the issues. Bottom Line: pay an extra $20 and find someplace where you can get some sleep and that isn't an out of date dump like this. read more

I picked this motel because it was well reviewed. We were traveling from our home in Idaho to visit family and friends in California and made this our stop for the night. Located on St. George Blvd, a main drag, it is a modest two story building, with a small but functional parking lot, though a little challenging to get into from the freeway (probably best to make a U-turn once you pass it). Nothing fancy on the outside, but attractive. The woman in the office was nice enough and we were checked in quickly. Happily, we're had an upstairs room over the office and set back from the street. No elevator but the staircase was easy to negotiate. Our room was nice and clean. We had two queens, which we like when traveling. The bathroom and shower were small but the water was hot and the pressure was good. The bathroom fan worked well. The beds were not super comfortable, but good for one night. The AC was great. There is a healthy place to eat right across the street and other eateries within walking distance. Apparently there is a pool but we didn't use it. We will stay here again when passing through. read more

Awful management. My family came from out of town to celebrate the birthday of the family baby, who is a student at Utah Tech. We were there for one night with a total of three rooms booked. The manager lives on property, and yelled from their porch at one of our members of the group (about 6 people) for going into another room to see the layout. We were told that the only option would be to gather in the smoking area on the back corner of the property, gathering was not allowed in rooms or parking lot, no matter length of time or number of people. The morning of, the manager came into another room accusing them of smoking marijuana and began searching through the room. It was later found that it was another room and cops were called (by the manager). When cops showed up, the manager began yelling at the cops in parking lot which could be heard through the property. According to the officers, this is a regular occurrence. In the time we were there, we heard the manager yelling at guests, staff/housekeeping, and police officers. The attached screenshot was received when the room was booked, and is obviously inaccurate. Part of our group has stayed at this hotel on multiple occasions due to the cleanliness and close proximity to the school, however after this visit we will be looking into other options. read more

Hotel room was fine, but management was horrible. No one in office when we arrived at 2:50 pm. Instructions on how to get key did not work. Supposed to have received a text with a code. Did not. Four couples waiting now to get keys. I called the emergency phone number listed. Finally a woman showed up in her pajamas. And surly. Got keys. Was on 2nd floor. Had requested 1st. Asked if we could change rooms. Was told there would be no room changes. Sign said owner had knee problems. Fine if that is the case, you hire someone to work the office. Or you sit there yourself with your leg propped up. You don't just abandon the office. Luckily the room was decent. read more

Horrible staff. The manager barged in our room before 839 am demanding to look in garbage and tell us there is a 200 fine for smoking. It wasn't even us. Cops were called by management and said this is not their first time coming to this hotel and asked us how is it still open? You can't have company or family in your hotel room without the manager threatening to kick you out of your hotel room for hanging out with family. We will never stay here again. Checkin was really easy. Checkin directions were texted to us the morning of our Checkin date. We had a 2 queen bed room with mini fridge and microwave. The room was very clean when we arrived with daily cleaning service. Parking is right next to the rooms. The hotel was very responsive through texts. Water is hot with good pressure. We found out you have to let it run for a little while sometimes to get the hot water. Beds were comfortable, pillows a little lumpy. Really nice towels. The Good AC/heat. Curtains and blinds keep the room very dark at night. We could hear a lot of traffic from St. George Blvd but it didn't bother us at all. We had an issue with the toilet chain breaking but they were quick to fix it. I would've loved a full-length mirror in the room and wish both sides of the bed had a place to charge electronics. All in all, a very good value and we would stay there again. read more

The room was fine until about 9pm when the husband of the people who live there started BLASTING his music and started to SING! I went to the office to complain and no one was there, I call the front office and no one picks up, until I slam my door and get a text message saying sorry and another one after I complain when the music is turned up again, the following day after coming back around 3 after getting up at 4 AM the music is blasting, So I go to the office and NO ONE IS THERE, then out of nowhere the lady comes out and I start to complain about the music and she is so terrified of her husband she defends him and says he is not doing anything wrong because the noise ordinance is at 10 but promises it will be off by 8, after a unsuccessful attempt to explain what kind of horrible hotel blast music was not getting me anywhere, I just said fine, the next thing I know when she tells him my complaint I can hear him yell at her saying Give him a F-ing Refund, Im not doing anything wrong, So I open my door and say Yes I want a refund then he starts yelling at me so I defend myself and scream back at him , I had to call the police because he was yelling at his wife too! AWFUL, TERRIBLE, NOT SAFE, LOUD MUSIC, CONNECTED TO A DEALERSHIP, HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! SHADY AF! DO NOT BE FOOLED BY THE PICS! DO NOT STAY HERE! I stayed here for 2 nights, and I really was impressed. It's very clean and the bed was very comfortable. You are next to a busy highway, so expect some noise, but honestly, my room was quieter than I thought it would be. The towels were really fluffy and not like those horrible thin, scratchy ones at similarly priced motels. For the price, it can't be beat. read more

We ended up in St George on a holiday weekend and we're only spending one night. We took our chances on this motel because we didn't want to spend an arm and a leg for a quick rest. We were all pleasantly surprised by the place when we walked in! Large, super clean room with comfortable beds, thick towels and a fantastic air conditioner! The manager called us early in the day to see when we were checking in. She gave us instructions for how to get our keys since we would be coming in late. Everything was exactly as she said and was super easy getting into our room. We will definitely stay here again when we return to St George. This place shows pride in ownership, Great job! Took a chance on this place because past reviews were great, however it is UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT. The motel was clean and has a strict no smoking no pets rule. We smoked in the designated smoking area only. The designated smoking area is where the new manager and her husband tell guests they smoke marijuana. After we checked out we received a phone call saying our room smelled heavily of marijuana and that we would have an extra charge. I explained that if another charge was made I would contact LOCAL POLICE. We then received a text saying we would not be charged "this time". We were appalled and would not recommend this place to ANYONE. I think there could be some illegal activities... read more

I get that there will be many of you that read this and say well from the outside. It looks like one of those cheap motels. Believe me, I get it. As one of the snobs that would thumb my nose up at this place and don't Nana know about it, well, I'm the only fool here because I've stayed at much worse worse worse places . I got to say that the room is excellent, it is thoroughly clean and just fresh and wonderful. The front desk was very helpful and nice. The bed is very comfortable, and the linens are some of the best that I have slept on in a very, very, very long time. Absolutely love it. The shower has excellent pressure, silverware, pots, and pans, and things like that are available upon request because they have a dinette built into your room. Most places have a very generic under powered hairdryer. And I like that they've gone even there above and beyond, and put a nice hairdryer of a bigger size. I will say don't turn your nose up on this place and location, this was a true gem, and a true find. Glad we finally after all these many times coming into this town I've had a chance to try this out. I will definitely be coming back again and again. And for someone who hardly ever leaves reviews, when a place is excellent, I really have to put something down for a place. Finding a good and affordable place to stay in St. George is already a crapshoot with the limited options, most of which are rundown. Trying to do so right when the temperatures start going down for fall, on a weekend, with several events going on in the area, is practically wishful thinking. But I think this has become my new go-to spot to stay anytime I'll be in the area. Property is recently renovated- it's not just clean, it's pristine, and it smells good. Units include a kitchenette and have up to 3 beds, and they're comfortable! Location is convenient to downtown and the freeway, and their service is stellar. When I came to check in, the front desk staff were giving another couple detailed info about the surrounding area and places to eat, shop, and hike. A casual comment about having to share a bed got extra bedding and a pull out brought to our room, without being charged. And it was actually comfortable, shocker! All of this, and locally owned, for less than the run-down chains we've stayed at up the road. read more

We are now on a 3 week road trip. It took me two months of planning and booking to make things run smoothly. Or so I hoped. My first discovery was, I am not so clever. Two months ahead and just now booking? It turns out September in Utah's National Parks, after Labor Day, is far more popular than I ever imagined. Slim picking for accommodations, but this place worked out pretty well for our first night. I booked for a single queen, but once we got there, we were given a room with two queens, not to mention a large dining table, two stools, clean, neat, smelled pleasant. Good beds. We slept well. The room also had a refrigerator, microwave, hair dryer. And we could park directly outside our room. An old tv but with cable and free wifi. The only thing missing, a coffee maker. Apparently some rooms had one. It was quite apparent that once in Utah, we were talking bigger bedrooms, lots of accommodations for "large" families. Not much in the way of complaints other than a cramped bathroom. It was quiet, well insulated. We appreciated the upgraded room since the motel was not full. Oh, and by the way, we arrived in St George on a Sunday early evening and the town was already closed. LOL. This California lady forgot how small towns can be. 3 1/2 stars and wouldn't mind returning. read more

We were pleasantly surprised by this motel! Fair pricing, very clean (which is the most important thing for me), easy check in- definitely somewhere we would stay again. I like how the queen rooms have beds that are not side by side. Bathroom is tight quarters, but seriously not a big deal! Our room came w a nice mini fridge, coffee makers and TV. The blankets are light weight and so clean! They don't have those disgusting duvet covers that most hotels do and never wash- you can tell they take pride in their rooms. read more

This was the best motel we have been to, we would definitely stay here again and would prefer it over many other fancier hotels. It was perfect for our road trip stay. We were going to get there very late, but instead of having to cal for a late check in, the hotel called us asking when we would get there and sent very detailed instructions on how to access our room key via contactless check in key box. The motel was incredibly clean and it was evident that they cared about our experience staying there. It had everything we needed, all in good quality. It was a large room with a nice kitchen, clean bathroom, couch/bed, and tv. We would recommend this place to anyone going to St George. read more

I thought this place was pretty nice and cozy. My dad and I booked a room with two King size beds on out way to SLC from California. And wow. I didn't expect at how clean this motel would be! It's super duper clean. The bathroom is really clean too. When we checked in. I could tell this place is run by a family. The couple were at the front desk that assisted us with our room. Anyway. I would definelty go back to this place as a stopover whenever I go back I Cali or SLC. It's also located at a convenient location on st George blvd. Oh and btw. I thought this place was perfect. The owners/workers were super friendly! Room had everything we would need. Good air conditioning, microwave, good size fridge. Super clean and inviting and less expensive than the others we called which is pretty awesome. So GREAT room and not just "for the price" which was about 50$ for two queen beds and a super spacious room. I will defiantly stay here next time ( P.s. What a wonderful and clean motel!! It's access takes a bit of looping around and it's well worth it!! The place is spotlessly clean and has no old, lingering odors. I even walked around barefoot because the carpet wasn't sticky or nasty. The price was very reasonable-much less than the Best Western. The towels were fluffy and bright white-linens soft and clean. We stayed here while doing a College Road Trip with our son (stops at SUU and Dixie St.) Easy to find. Just a 1/4 mile off the freeway. Did have to make a U-turn to get back to it as there is no left turn due to the median. That's not a complaint in any way, just a FYI. The hotel is very close to the university and there are lots of good eats that are really close by. The parking lot seemed a little small. There wasn't very many people there we were there, on a Thursday, in July, so for us, there was no issue. Come peak season, it may be. Check in was super easy and the lady who checked us in was very informative and helpful. She was very friendly and a pleasure to speak with. The room was VERY nice! We were pleasantly surprised. It was very clean, good sized, and seemed the bathroom was recently redone. It was excellent! Bedding was very comfortable and slept well. Air conditioning worked with no issues. There is a little garden area with a small fountain and a couple of seats just off to the right of the office. It's a nice little spot to be able to enjoy a morning cup of coffee. We really enjoyed our stay, had zero issues, and would stay here again in a heartbeat. read more
