Chalet of Fire The Good: *Great shower pressure and nice and hot *Nice big 42" HDTv w/ HD cable *Bed is super comfortable and the pillows are terrific *Room we rented had a kitchenette (microwave, sink and dishwasher) *Great location near lots of places to eat.  *Room was very quiet despite being so close to the main road.  *AC worked great.  *Room was recently renovated and is very chic.  *Check-in was extremely fast *±45min from Zion National Park The Meh: *Little pricey for what it is; paid $140 thru booking.com *WiFi is super slow, but at least it's reliable.  *Standard coffee machine  *Kitchenette cupboards are completely empty: no plates, no cups, no silverware, no nothing.  The Ugly: *Location is on the main drag here in St George and traffic can be a little crazy out front during "rush hour."  Tldr: A little pricey for what it is but a good night's sleep is priceless.

The place's nice and clean . The studio room has everything (kitchen, microwave, refrigerator) .The price was great to get the big room also very easy to check in.

In A Nutshell: -Chalet Motel in St. George is a very good place to stay for short-term. -The room has a mini-kitchen, big fridge, coffee maker, small dining room table for two w/ stools, a small couch & decent bed. -The bathroom was very clean, shower good. -The location is great too since it's right smack in the middle of many restaurants & close to the highway. Overall, this is a very good place to stay if you are traveling around the area.

Great nights sleep. Very clean and comfortable. Will definitely be sleeping here in the future.

    Proof of my claim

The room was fine until about 9pm when the husband of the people who live there started BLASTING his music and started to SING! I went to the office to complain and no one was there, I call the front office and no one picks up, until I slam my door and get a text message saying sorry and another one after I complain when the music is turned up again, the following day after coming back around 3 after getting up at 4 AM the music is blasting, So I go to the office and NO ONE IS THERE, then out of nowhere the lady comes out and I start to complain about the music and she is so terrified of her husband she defends him and says he is not doing anything wrong because the noise ordinance is at 10 but promises it will be off by 8, after a unsuccessful attempt to explain what kind of horrible hotel blast music was not getting me anywhere, I just said fine, the next thing I know when she tells him my complaint I can hear him yell at her saying Give him a F-ing Refund, Im not doing anything wrong, So I open my door and say Yes I want a refund then he starts yelling at me so I defend myself and scream back at him , I had to call the police because he was yelling at his wife too! AWFUL, TERRIBLE, NOT SAFE, LOUD MUSIC, CONNECTED TO A DEALERSHIP, HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! SHADY AF! DO NOT BE FOOLED BY THE PICS! DO NOT STAY HERE! And the guy made it very clear he wanted me to write this review because AND I Quote "Post a horrible review! I dont give a F!"...well I'm a man of my word! So here you go "BRO"! Best of luck in Alaska!

    Perfect little place to stay.

Little a little diamond in the rough in St. George. A beautiful little hotel. We had an upgrade to a beautiful newly remodeled rooms. The staff was excellent. Went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. The rooms were clean. The rooms were beautiful. We had a wonderful stay. We will be back in. This will be our hotel in St. George.

Finding a good and affordable place to stay in St. George is already a crapshoot with the limited options, most of which are rundown. Trying to do so right when the temperatures start going down for fall, on a weekend, with several events going on in the area, is practically wishful thinking. But I think this has become my new go-to spot to stay anytime I'll be in the area. Property is recently renovated- it's not just clean, it's pristine, and it smells good. Units include a kitchenette and have up to 3 beds, and they're comfortable! Location is convenient to downtown and the freeway, and their service is stellar. When I came to check in, the front desk staff were giving another couple detailed info about the surrounding area and places to eat, shop, and hike. A casual comment about having to share a bed got extra bedding and a pull out brought to our room, without being charged. And it was actually comfortable, shocker! All of this, and locally owned, for less than the run-down chains we've stayed at up the road.

Half our comfy, clean room #101, nothing fancy. Another queen bed behind me. Fridge and microwave but no coffee maker.

As a gold member I was offered no water bottles during my stead and instead had to pay 7.00 per bottle. 2. The bar and restaurant has a staff meeting while customers are there waiting for service. The most important part of servicing your customer is the part where you service the customer. 5. The staff is constantly chatting to one another and not expecting any needs of their guest.. front desk is often on their cell phone. 6. The fries at the bar are okay - but they have so much garlic that they need to be served with an aioli or mayo based sauce instead of ketchup. You can tell this place is poorly managed and lacks structure and procedures it could be great and charming but it's just okay.

There are restaurants in every direction and easy to get to. You definitely have to drive...the road isn't really walkable and especially in the dead of summer. There is ample parking all the way around the building and multiple exit doors and elevators at each end. This BW has clearly been renovated. The lobby was impeccably decorated and had an open coffee/tea bar and ice cold water with fruit added. There is also a well stocked market right near the front desk. When we checked in we got the floor I requested and the front desk person told us all about the amenities including a daily free happy hour in the building across from the lobby. We made our way to our room and got settled in. The room felt and smelled clean. The room was just what I wanted with two queen beds and an AC unit that worked to perfection. I love when there are multiple lamps around with different brightness settings including on the nightstand. The room was also equipped with a wet bar with fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. Bathroom was stocked with loads of towels which is always preferred. We did check out the happy hour which was pretty good and yes included cocktails. If you stay don't skip it! The beds were super comfortable and I slept like a dog on a log. We got up early and departed. Our one night stay was just what we needed! Thank you, BW Abbey Inn!

So...I decided to go with my old faithful La Quinta...and let me tell you...this place is good! Lots of spaces in the lobby to hang out. It has a pool and a well stocked little snack store. The staff is nice. They have a breakfast and you know it looked typical. Breakfast ends at 10 but it was nearly check out time (11am) and the food was still out at around 10:30. I asked if I was able to eat since it was still set up and the staff was cleaning up. Everything looked so fresh. I have to say this was the BEST breakfast I've ever had at a hotel. I mean, if I had gone to a breakfast restaurant that was sit down and I was served this plate. I would've happily paid for it. The potatoes were nice and spicy but not hot, the eggs were seasoned. The muffin wasn't dried out at all. There was also sausage bacon, a waffle station, bagels, biscuits, bread to toast, selection of juices and coffees. There was cereal. It was just really good. My room was clean and smelled good. I was having a really bad vacation my car broke down in the middle of nowhere. Anyway my situation requires me to stay another night overnight in St. George next week so I will absolutely be staying here...it was the breakfast that really sealed the deal. I was going to give this a five anyway even without the breakfast included, but that put it over the top. When I got to the front desk, the lady who was working, asked me if I had any special requests and I said yes I would like a room that doesn't have anyone next-door to it and close to an elevator and she was so accommodating and she found me the perfect room. I was checked in around 9pm.

We arrived really late at night, around 2:30-3:00 AM, and ended up standing outside the hotel entrance for about 10-15 minutes because nobody was at the front desk. We were calling the front desk number and nobody answered. Luckily, there happened to be another guest sitting in the lobby -- honestly a blessing at that hour -- and he let us inside so we weren't stuck outside in the cold. Even after getting inside, we still waited another 10 minutes or so before someone from the front desk finally showed up. We called the front desk number again while inside and still got no answer. Overall, it took close to 20-25 minutes just to see an attendant and get checked into the room. I stay at a lot of IHG hotels and have some level of membership with them, and at most locations it's pretty common to at least be greeted warmly or offered something simple like points or water bottles. Unfortunately, when the attendant finally showed up after the long wait, it honestly looked like she didn't care at all. I even asked if they had any water bottles available and she simply said no. She just didn't seem welcoming or interested in being there, which was disappointing considering a hotel front desk is a customer service role. Once we finally got into the room though, everything was fine and pretty standard with no other issues during the stay.
