Older Hampton Inn, it my favorite style hotel. I have over 2000 stays with Hilton and the Hampton Inn is my go to brand. Staff was friendly, rooms were clean but out dated. This location doesn't have the nice beds but it worked.

Serviceable fitness room so that I didn't have to run outside in 20 degree weather. Friendly staff, good choices for included breakfast, great location close to restaurants and shops, decent showers and beds

We only stayed one night, it was clean and comfortable. The small fridge was perfect for keeping our drinks cold.

There are restaurants in every direction and easy to get to. You definitely have to drive...the road isn't really walkable and especially in the dead of summer. There is ample parking all the way around the building and multiple exit doors and elevators at each end. This BW has clearly been renovated. The lobby was impeccably decorated and had an open coffee/tea bar and ice cold water with fruit added. There is also a well stocked market right near the front desk. When we checked in we got the floor I requested and the front desk person told us all about the amenities including a daily free happy hour in the building across from the lobby. We made our way to our room and got settled in. The room felt and smelled clean. The room was just what I wanted with two queen beds and an AC unit that worked to perfection. I love when there are multiple lamps around with different brightness settings including on the nightstand. The room was also equipped with a wet bar with fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. Bathroom was stocked with loads of towels which is always preferred. We did check out the happy hour which was pretty good and yes included cocktails. If you stay don't skip it! The beds were super comfortable and I slept like a dog on a log. We got up early and departed. Our one night stay was just what we needed! Thank you, BW Abbey Inn!

So...I decided to go with my old faithful La Quinta...and let me tell you...this place is good! Lots of spaces in the lobby to hang out. It has a pool and a well stocked little snack store. The staff is nice. They have a breakfast and you know it looked typical. Breakfast ends at 10 but it was nearly check out time (11am) and the food was still out at around 10:30. I asked if I was able to eat since it was still set up and the staff was cleaning up. Everything looked so fresh. I have to say this was the BEST breakfast I've ever had at a hotel. I mean, if I had gone to a breakfast restaurant that was sit down and I was served this plate. I would've happily paid for it. The potatoes were nice and spicy but not hot, the eggs were seasoned. The muffin wasn't dried out at all. There was also sausage bacon, a waffle station, bagels, biscuits, bread to toast, selection of juices and coffees. There was cereal. It was just really good. My room was clean and smelled good. I was having a really bad vacation my car broke down in the middle of nowhere. Anyway my situation requires me to stay another night overnight in St. George next week so I will absolutely be staying here...it was the breakfast that really sealed the deal. I was going to give this a five anyway even without the breakfast included, but that put it over the top. When I got to the front desk, the lady who was working, asked me if I had any special requests and I said yes I would like a room that doesn't have anyone next-door to it and close to an elevator and she was so accommodating and she found me the perfect room. I was checked in around 9pm.

As a gold member I was offered no water bottles during my stead and instead had to pay 7.00 per bottle. 2. I was out of toothpaste and they didn't have any at the front desk nor the small shop to purchase. 3. My room had a large potato chip laying in the floor from the previous guest. 4. The bar and restaurant has a staff meeting while customers are there waiting for service. The most important part of servicing your customer is the part where you service the customer. 5. The staff is constantly chatting to one another and not expecting any needs of their guest.. front desk is often on their cell phone. 6. The fries at the bar are okay - but they have so much garlic that they need to be served with an aioli or mayo based sauce instead of ketchup. You can tell this place is poorly managed and lacks structure and procedures it could be great and charming but it's just okay.

We arrived really late at night, around 2:30-3:00 AM, and ended up standing outside the hotel entrance for about 10-15 minutes because nobody was at the front desk. We were calling the front desk number and nobody answered. Luckily, there happened to be another guest sitting in the lobby -- honestly a blessing at that hour -- and he let us inside so we weren't stuck outside in the cold. Even after getting inside, we still waited another 10 minutes or so before someone from the front desk finally showed up. We called the front desk number again while inside and still got no answer. Overall, it took close to 20-25 minutes just to see an attendant and get checked into the room. I stay at a lot of IHG hotels and have some level of membership with them, and at most locations it's pretty common to at least be greeted warmly or offered something simple like points or water bottles. Unfortunately, when the attendant finally showed up after the long wait, it honestly looked like she didn't care at all. I even asked if they had any water bottles available and she simply said no. She just didn't seem welcoming or interested in being there, which was disappointing considering a hotel front desk is a customer service role. Once we finally got into the room though, everything was fine and pretty standard with no other issues during the stay.

Literally zero human interaction Room-Small but efficiently designed, always clean with a few toiletries provided. Bed & pillows are very comfortable and offer a great nights sleep. Toiletries-Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand wash, body lotion all in large bottles attached to the walls. I actually appreciate and prefer this model vs the mini bottles. Most people bring their own products, myself included. Also, most people take extra home with intentions of using them and guess what, they collect in a random drawer in the guest bath for years until they move or die then someone throws dozens of wasted plastic and expired products in the trash. Ty hotels for saving is all the headache! Also, the brand Tru offers smells so good! Gym-24/7 access which we love. It's on the smaller aide but offers an impressive amount of equipment. 2 treadmills, an elliptical, 1 weight bench, weights 5-40 lbs, stability straps which I loved, a Bosu, 3 stability balls, several matts and a box for jumping. Think I saw a few Kettles too. Free Breakfast-Always impressed with what's offered for free at the free breakfast here. Scrambled eggs and some type of breakfast protein is always offered. Oatmeal with tons of fixings, yogurt, cereals, several juices, fresh fruit, hard boiled eggs and the most popular item...the mini pancakes! There are 2 pancake machines you simply wave your hand in front of and makes you a little hot fresh pancake! There were multiple toppings including sugar free syrup. Refreshments-24/7 regular & decaf coffee and hot water for tea. 2 flavors to choose for cream, a few types of sweeteners. It's really great coffee too! In the morning there ice water & citrus infused water. Common Areas-For as small as the lobby os it has several seating areas to sit and work on your lap top, eat, or play games with the family. Tru does a great job at providing family entertainment too with big screens to watch tv on, a pool table and lots of games to play too! We don't spend mich time at the hotel outside of sleeping, a workout and a quick bite before hitting the road but we're always hapoy with our stays. We will be back!
