Could be cleaner and the door fell off the refrigerator. I put it back on and told the staff they offered to move to different room but too tired to move again. The room was clean enough and very basic. It served its purpose when driving across the country. I didn't feel worried about leaving stuff in my vehicle overnight and felt safe staying here as a single female traveller on this trip. This hotel is Everything I needed for my weekend! Comfy Kingsize bed coffee maker, microwave, mini fridge. Room was clean fresh and quiet! This is a decent hotel. I had to stay here due to road closures going west bound on I 40 due to Snow Storm. We were blessed enough to get a room for $109 p/n. I personally thought it was kind of pricey. Hence, part of the reason I gave it 4 stars. Also the cable didn't work in our room. The front desk attendant came up to try to fix/reset it with no resolution. For $109 per night, I do expect the TV to at least be properly working. There was a refrigerator and microwave in our room. This was convenient and a pleasant surprise. They also have a hot tube, swimming pool, and fitness area. I would recommend this hotel. read more

I have stayed in a few low Quality Inns before. This one is by far the worst. Worst price, worst in cleanliness. Trash and debris inside and out. Exit doors that don't work. I mean how hard is it to get an exit door to work??? Hard enough that they had to put up a sign about it. Strange bug on the bathroom floor. But what takes the cake is what they tried to pass off as bedding or a comforter. The pillows were so hard that my ears hurt and woke me up every 30 mins and had to roll over. But the comforter... was literally ripped open and the stuffing was falling out on my face all night. See the photo. What kind of housekeeper actually made this bed and thought that it was ok!??? If I could give this hotel a negative 5 rating, I would. "Dog-friendly room" includes hard stains and other stains on the floor. Dead bugs and live bugs (absolutely disgusting), including across my son's mattress (for a pack-and-play) Half the doors don't work going outside, and the lock on our hotel door looked like someone tried to rip it off. The A/C, I swear, hasn't been cleaned since the building was built. The man working the night we checked in was pleasant and accommodating, but the man working in the morning when I came down freaked out about the disgusting roach-type bugs in our room and crawling in beds; his exact words to me were " oh well, we just sprayed yesterday, so they're probably just coming in from outside or dying. We called to book this hotel several hours before we arrived in Arizona. We booked 2 rooms, 1 of the rooms being booked was for our daughter who was traveling with 2 dogs. The hotel is dog friendly and has a very small dog relief area on the sides of the rooms that are dog friendly. Our room was ok, it was good size. Carpet had some stains and the bathroom was an older looking bathroom. They have a continental breakfast that offers pancakes, cereal, muffins, coffee and orange juice. My daughter found 2 big bugs in her road, not sure if they were Beatles or roaches. When she complained to the front desk the man at the front desk said they sprayed yesterday so they were probably coming in from the outside or just coming out from the spray. We choose this hotel because it's reviews were a little better then others in the area. We paid $140 a night, I think the price is to high for this hotel and would not stay at this hotel again at this price. read more

This place is undergoing a renovation and it definitely needs it. It looks old and run down. The drain in the bathroom sink was clogged and the shower had no water pressure. The room was OK the front desk awful I checked in with the dog I booked it online never asked me then I had problems with the TV so the front desk lady came up to fix it. Accuse me of hiding my dog said she would be nice and charge me a $30 fee when I said OK well I wasn't hiding the dog. She said well I could just charge you 100 she then left my room and refused to fix my TV leaving me with a nonfunctioning TV and threatening to charge me if I could leave the room I would I would never ever ever ever ever stay in this horrible place again. Worst hotel I've ever checked into. I said checked in because I didn't actually stay here, checked in the my first room and it's stunk to high heaven of smoke even though they claimed it was a non-smoking room. They quickly offered me a different room which did not smell like smoke but when I turned on the AC there was a heavy mold smell and it started to give me a headache. There was mold in both bathrooms, drywall that need to be repaired, one of the main exit had damage to the frame. I honestly don't know how it is still open, to help inspectors not go there? All of the problems being said the staff was extremely helpful and understanding. Try to do everything they could to make it so I could stay there, and when I couldn't they quickly processed my refund while I was loading up and were apologetic. This hotel needs the franchise director or general manager to refund every customer that stayed in any of the ( PET ) rooms with an Service Dog before an class action law suit. ADA guidelines strictly say : " You can not discriminate between an Disabled person with an service dog and an guest without an Service Dog. " We were forced to accept an room (#223) After seeing the first floor rooms designed to PETS and Smokers . We went down stairs to ask why this room smells like smoke and they kindly stated its been converted from Smoking to Non Smoking. We checked in after a long day of driving wanting to watch the football game, take a shower and get some sleep. the front desk lady was nice and the lobby was clean and smelled great. Our room card did not work so we got it replaced at the front desk. After unpacking, we turned on the television to find that it did not work. The front desk lady grumbled that the TVs had been messing up. She offered us a different room but we had unpacked and decided to watch on our IPads instead. After the game I went to take a shower and after trying for 20 minutes the best we could get in the sink and shower was slightly warm water. I again went to the front desk and she said she would get us another room. After disappearing down the hall for 8 minutes she came back and said the room she was going to move us to would not work. (I may have gotten a bit peeved at this point and was not as nice as I could have been) She told me I could leave and she'd refund us the room rate. I told her we were exhausted and she grudgingly went off to find us another room again. When she returned much later she had found us a room and told me to pull the shower handle straight out and not turn it at all to get a warm shower. Also, there was no soap in either room on the sinks or in the showers so if you stay here bring soap. Following her directions I finally got my shower. Not what I expected after a long day on the road! I will not stay in one of these hotels again. We will stick with Hilton. read more

Supermarket next block. Several fast food within walking distance. Water turned off mid day for plumbers but was not off very long. Breakfast was cereal, muffins, frozen burritos. My stop there was not planned and could not have been worse. The place was dirty and had stains all o er the carpet. The couch in the room was broken down and should have been put in the dumpster long ago. Worst of all was the fact that the side door was falling apart and slammed every time it closed. Located just off the interstate, it's EZ on/off with ample parking. As budget hotels go, the rates are fine and the front desk staff were very nice, but the hotel is in need of a remodel. The common areas are clean as are the rooms, but they're "lived in" an most aspects and are in need of a refreshing remodel. Rooms have the standard amenities for a budget hotel. I found the bed comfortable, shower water pressure and temp were fine with the towels to be on the thin side, which is pretty typical. BED BUGS!! All of the previous bad reviews are 100% accurate so I won't rehash all that. We are traveling home from CA to TX. Stopped after 10 hours on the road. Get checked in. I sit on the bed and notice a bug walking across one of the pillows. We kill it and look all around the mattresses and don't see anymore. I'm tired and just want to go to bed so contemplating if I can stay or not. I look up a picture of a bed bug online ... exactly what it looks like. The manager at the desk offers us another room across the hall. I'm thinking quite possible to spread in the surrounding rooms so that will be a no for me. My poor husband taking care of me like he always does starts calling for rooms. Not much luck around here but found a room at the Motel 6. This Motel 6 is actually pretty nice and beats Quality Inn 100%! P.S. manager at Quality Inn totally didn't care although did offer a new room immediately. Driving through Arizona and decided to get a room last minute, close to midnight. The gentleman at the front desk was very attentive and helpful. Price was great, room was clean, free hot breakfast was delicious. No complaints. The hotel is very close to the freeway, but it's in a good neighborhood. Didn't see anything sketchy outside even at midnight. I will say that the indoor pool was a deep green. Thankfully we weren't staying long and had no plans of using the pool. read more

This place was disgusting. The outside is not taken care of. They advertise a pool, but it was closed. Breakfast was a cheese burrito, muffin and juice. We had 2 rooms reserved for our visit. 1 room smelled of smoke and marijuana with a smell of dog piss. The linens were ripped to shreds. We cancelled that room and my son went to another hotel down the road that was clean, with a pool and had an amazing breakfast. My husband and I stayed as we had our dog with us. Our room was dirty, carpets stained, bathroom walls were falling apart and the ceiling by the window a/c had mold on it. It also smelled of dog piss. I will never stay there again. I had stayed here a previous year, and it was run down, but everything was functional, including the indoor pool. This stay, the toilet rocked (YES), maintenance throughout the building was years past due, and the pool was empty due to owners not taking care of it. I heard that they let the water get low and it burned up the pool motor, and they just emptied it. The walls need painting in the hallways. They put paint that didn't match the original color, so it looked worse than whatever scratches or marks were there before. It was NOT what I expected for the money. It's a low-end hotel that has sunk to the point that I would never stay there again, and the prices for the rooms (2021) were what a 3-star would charge. Breakfast was awful. Breakfast burritos (microwavable) that were so bad I couldn't eat it after the first bite. Having had other "Covid safe" breakfasts on my journey at other Quality Inns, this was simply not necessary. One of the front desk staff was great, the other one seemed a bit curt, taking everything I asked and making a deal about it. However, he finally made nice and recommended a family restaurant nearby that was simply five star in taste and service. read more

Super bummer there is no elevator. Especially since we were on a roadtrip and had tons of stuff. The stair cases are ridiculous. It felt like we had to go up and down and all round only to be spit out on the other end of the building. I was also SHOCKED to find out they still had smoking rooms! GROSS! I am a smoker but do not want to sleep in it. I dont even smoke in my own home. My poor friends ended up with one and gross. I felt awful. The pool was closed for maintenance, fine but would have been cool since it was in a dome. There are tons of beggers outside the hotel which is weird. Stay Away! Crazy Desk Clerk refused to check me in for a prepaid room! Though I politely requested to be checked in multiple times, the young female clerk was on a power trip and started giving me orders! I submitted a complaint to Choice Hotels and though their email reply was somewhat sympathetic Choice Hotels did not make any effort to make up for the tremendous inconvienience my wife and I experienced during and after the event. In my opinion, the desk clerk should have been immediately fired! I have never seen such arrogant behavior from someone in a service business, but I guess anything goes in the mind of today's young people who think political differences justify anything! Fortunately I was able to get a full refund from Travelocity, but I will never stay at any Choice Hotel lodging facility again. UNACCEPTABLE treatment of a paying customer! I was traveling to Dallas from Northern California. After about 18 hours of driving going past Flagstaff I saw on my phone this place as an option as it was basically halfway. When I pulled in they completely ignored the online price and gouged me by almost double the rate saying I had a great view of their "indoor pool". The place is old and, yeah, it is still decorated like 1975, but our adjoining nonsmoking rooms were clean and everything worked as it should. There's an indoor pool and whirlpool tub. Kinda weird- the A/C units from some of the rooms vent into the pool area so it's hot in there. No, HOT as in 90 degrees. However, staff is very considerate. We left an iPad in the room when we checked out. Ten minutes and ten miles down the road we realized we didn't have it and were about to turn back when a very kind desk clerk called -our iPad was being held for us at the front desk. Overall, we were pleased with the stay here and would stay again. Keep in mind you're in Winslow so there's no Starbucks, the stores close early at night and you're likely to approached by at least one panhandler as you're parking or returning to your car. read more

Newly renovated rooms stand out from some of the frayed public areas of this older hotel - which probably was originally a 70's Holiday Inn. Plenty of outlets to charge devices, nice bedding, new furniture and rebuilt baths make this a good choice. New large Flat Screen TV's. Maybe skip the pool area, but the breakfast provided is well stocked and carefully maintained by the helpful staff. Don't miss the automatic Pancake making machine. I must say I have been on a month long trip traveling and this is the worst hotel we have stayed at yet! I had to give them a star just so I could rate them but I'd remove it if I could. I have two beautiful bichons that are cleaner than the room we stayed in! And at least a Laquita Inn doesn't charge for your pets! They charge $15 each and expect them to pee in rocks! Seriously ! The bathroom looked like something out of a horror show and the ac unit sounded like a helicopter every time it kicked on. Oh, did I mention the carpet smelled of dog pee! When I complained to the front desk they handed me a bottle of urine neutralizer! Seriously ! Oh, one other thing, when coming into the room, the door locking mechanism tore a hunk of flesh out of my arm! When I showed the clerk, she said "oh my!" I said, "good thing I have a first aide kit"!
