Be sure to do your research before you take your car in for repairs here as only 30 miles after…read morechanging the fluid in my transmission it failed and they gave me no reason for the failure as the tec doing the work said the original fluid was clear no burnt smell or particles in it but they charged me $6629.00 for a rebuilt transmission and within a day it developed a vibration between 35 and 40 mph. I researched it with Jasper Transmissions who did the rebuild and also with the Tex's at Wall Ford and both said it was a common problem that could be rectified with a $14 fluid additive that takes about 10 minutes to install. I informed Bradley's of the vibration problem and of the conversations with Ford and Jasper and dropped my vehicle off believing they would just add the additive and Gary of Bradley's. Gary phoned me later saying he wanted me to take my truck to a specialist, which I was to pay for, claiming it was probably something in my differentials or transfer case. When I restated to Gary that it was a problem only between 35 and 40 mph and if it was to do with other parts of the drive system it would not appear and then disappear it would be constant. Gary was arrogant and argumentative I believe because I had taken the intuitive to research the problem and told he's as they had just charged my over $6000.00 for a transmission that Bradley's should resolve the issue. Gary said he would but he would charge me for it, I was taken aback by his arrogance and then he said "why don't you do it yourself" and "put that stuff in and let me know how you make out". Between my wife's car and my truck over a 2 months period we paid Bradley's over $10,000.00 in repairs, well because of Gary's ignorance, arrogance and narcissistic attitude they lost two good customers we will never go back there. warning even with the other good reviews do your investigation of your vehicle problem before giving Bradley's a chance to do your work. After confirming with both Ford and Jasper Transmissions I purchased the additive and installed it myself, problem fixed so Bradley's lost 2 customers for $14 and 10 minutes work seems a bit stupid to me and totally not in the interest of good customer relationship.

Which sounds about right because last time I replaced them was 3 years ago. Honda wanted to charge $399 to replace rear brake pads and resurface the rotors. I didn't bother to ask how much to get new rotors because I know they will add at least another $700 base on my previous experience with them. I call Auto City and he quoted me $400 for brakes and brand new rotors. Services I had here over the years: replace spark plugs, replace transmission oil, replace brake oil, replace coolant, replace drive belt, replace brakes and rotors, replace front wheel axle, check AC for freon leaks, and recharge the freon.

I came in to see about getting a new headlight bulb installed on my Nissan (after purchasing the…read morebulb from Autozone), and walking in to the place - I immediately overheard cursing and offensive language (which should have been my first clue) from a man named Robert Bell. I asked Robert, apparently the manager of this place (?) if he could install the bulb, and he said it would take an hour and a half and cost about $150.00. Intuitively, this felt very wrong - so I went to get a second opinion at AZ One Stop Service Center in Neptune, where I was greeted by a very polite fellow who said he would install the bulb for $20.00, and it would only take a few moments. Needless to say, Robert Bell of B&A Quick Lube Auto Repair is both lacking in manners, and business ethics and I would never go near that establishment again. Unfortunate, because the Sunoco attendants are actually quite nice. I brought my car here last month because I had a nail in my tire. I waited 40 minutes for my car to…read morebe done. The next morning my tire pressure light came on again. There was a nail in my same tire. I brought it back that day and they said I must have gotten a nail in the same tire. They had plugged it again and I went home. That night I was confused still so I took my tire off the car and checked. There was only ONE plug in the tire so they didn't plug it the first time and tried acting like I just had bad luck. Yesterday I started my car and had white smoke was coming out of my exhaust for a few seconds after starting then it went away but my car was overheating so I drove it and pumped the heat to air out my motor and drove slowly to keep my RPM's down. I got my oil and coolant changed last night. My coolant was low also. They said it could be my head gasket. So this morning I started my car there was no smoke my car wasn't overheating and it was driving normal again even with the AC pumping. I brought it there because it was by where I had to go. I explained everything to them. They called me 4 hours later saying it was done and it was only $100 everything was taken care of. I went there paid and asked what it was the owner said you needed an oil change.... I said I got one last night the sticker is on my window. He said oh they overfilled your oil so we emptied it fully out and put new oil in. I said ok that was dumb when you could've drained a little of it and checked the dip stick after. So what about my head gasket he said we didn't check it.... I said why not when that's why I brought it here to be checked. I told you the car was running fine today back to normal I just wanted my head gasket checked. When I asked to speak to the mechanic who worked on my car the owner said he isn't here he stepped out and to come back later. This place is so fucked up. Any time I come here the only respectable guy there is Ronnie I swear. I'm so bummed out that I didn't see him there earlier because I would have went right to him first. If anyone has good mechanic recs for the Oceab county or Monmouth county area please let me know. This place isn't even getting a third strike.
