I love the staff at this location. This was my first gel manicure and I loved how it turned out. Color was exactly what I wanted - they helped me find perfect shade. Got lots of compliments at the wedding I attended. Friendly staff. I normally only get spa pedicure which is great and reasonably priced for area. Includes callus treatment and leg massage. Only if I'm in a tight pinch will I come here to get a pedicure. The price wasn't bad and you get a 5% discount if you use cash app or I think zelle, but it took maybe a whole 15 mins for the pedicure...yea it was that fast. I guess places don't put in any of that stuff in the water that changes it's color I guess it got to expensive...and I had some of the polish on my toes and some of the colors already coming off. First time here. Came with my husband, i got Danny and my husband got Lynn. I needed my old nails removed from a acrylic set. Danny was very gentle and made sure I wasn't in any pain because I had weak nails. He did gel set and did amazing!! I love them! Lynn did my husband's pedicure. I have been going to this place since it opened. I really wish I could go more often, but it is kinda far from my house. Cindy hooks me up every time. I followed her and the rest of the crew from 5 star nails down the street. I love how she does my stiletto nails/pink and white powder. I cannot stand when my nails are not done correctly. I came to Quality Nails on the recommendation of a coworker. I went on a Saturday without an appointment which meant I had to wait a little bit. The pedicure was done quickly and very well. However, the lady rushed my mani and it looked as if a child did my nails. The top coat was put on haphazardly (like barely any) and 2 of my nails had air bubbles in them. I spent $35 on a mani/pedi where only 1/2 the service came out well. I wonder if the lady would have done a better job if she hadn't rushed my manicure to attend to another customer. They might do a better job on a day where they are not so busy. I don't know if I will be coming back to find out. read more

I've been coming here for years. They're great ladies (and guys). They are polite, professional and friendly. They are fantastic with children, patiently accommodating to many challenging situations (single moms with multiple young children, young girls, seniors, disabilities). They are reasonably priced and have good workmanship. They have a nice clean facility with up to date equipment and a extensive variety of colors! My 17 year old daughter and I routinely visit for our bi-monthly mani/pedi mother/daughter catch-up sessions (it's a great way to spend a FOCUSED hour with my super busy teen!) First let me start off by saying strongly, being a male and senior citizen, we guys MUST stop depriving ourselves of luxuries like pedicures because of our hesitation about entering businesses frequented mostly by females...We cringe when our gf/wife enter the dress section of a store and we must accompany them.... Well, years ago I squashed my fears when with a lady friend WE entered the Victoria's Secret store located in Pentagon City...I thought I had died and gone directly to heaven via an Excela train...My heart started racing as I looked around and I was afraid to touch any of those dainty items in the store for fear my fingers would burst into flames...Of course I was familiar with VS lingerie of all kinds from advertising but visiting a store is truly an experience like no other that first time... Moving on....living across the street from this spa I decided to treat myself...I felt relaxed and enjoyed just having my feet in warm swirling water...The whole process took about 25 minutes and the clipping of my toe nails and feet scrubbing were very relaxing...My attendant was very professional and of course attempted to sell me a pedicure spa...Not knowing what she meant, I declined...after a few more visits and knowing what a spa was, I treated myself to one and discovered another garden of eden, luxury wise...Just yesterday I treated myself to one... My only irritation is that the staff NEVER speaks in english other than attempting to push other services on a customer...I am guessing that few in the shops has a command of the english language beyond asking a few basic questions...and we all can safely assume many times staff are discussing a client in a negative manner and can do this with impunity... Either way, my first visit made me feel as though I was walking on clouds and I urge women to strongly encourage their significant other to visit a shop....This facility is exceptionally clean and relaxing in all areas.... I can't say enough good things about this place- I originally went in because they were across the street from my old house, but even after I moved much farther away, I continue to come here because the service is amazing. I primarily see Lee for gel nails/pedicure/eyebrow, and she always does a good job in a timely fashion. I've seen other people there though if she isn't working, and they all are very professional, nice and remember you everytime. I've also been in several times for repairs/chips and they always fit me (and everyone else) in right away and I don't think I've ever been charged for chips, etc that were my fault. Highly recommended! The only less than ideal experience I had here was with a woman named Rachel, but I don't think she works here anymore since I've been going for over a year and haven't seen her there since June. I thought nail shops in Woodbridge couldn't get any worse until I visited Quality Nail & Spa. This shop should be named Worst Quality Nail. I went for a pedi & gel mani. I asked for clear gel. The technician rushed the job because he had a customer waiting. There were only two technicians working and that should've been my 1st clue. He left some old polish on my thumb nail. He did not buff the white off my nails since I chose clear polish you can easily see the nails weren't buffed along with the existing polish. This business should close. Are there any decent nail shops in Woodbridge? I have been to several shops and they're all terrible. Also the price for gel is now $40. Just horrible! read more

I've been coming to Quality Nail for my pedicures for a couple of years now after trying many, many places in Prince William County. Here's what I've got... Facility: The inside of the nail spa is clean and well kept. There's about 5 or so pedi massage chairs and 6-8 nail stations. The polish selection is expansive and there's plenty of updated OPI colors to choose from (others as well, but OPI is my preferred brand). Service: I've not once had an issue with any of the techs at Quality Nail. They are thorough and professional. Typically, I watch the program on the tv or bring a book to read because they're on the quiet side, chat wise but very nice nonetheless. Unlike other nail salons, I have never felt rushed here which is a nice change. Product/Spa pedicure: Typically I opt for the spa pedi which includes the sugar scrub and leg massage. It's worth the extra cash and is such a relaxing treat. I've never had a problem with my pedis here and the paint job is always top notch! Credit cards are accepted but as with most nail salons, tips cannot be added to the final amount so bring cash. Bottom line: There may be cheaper places in Woodbridge, but Quality Nail is consistent with their service and their product making it a place I'll come back to. read more

I visited this place today for the first time. My friend goes faithfully to see Cindy. Well, Cindy was booked and I saw another person. The person came across very unprofessional to me. I was getting mani and oedi today. While, I was getting my pedi she started filing my finger nails to get gel dip off. I got a bit annoyed bc she was doing that and the stuff was flying all on my pant leg. (I mean, she didn't know if I was going someplace afterwards or not. Who does that? Have residue from filing nails all over a person's jeans. Smh) Then, I think she probably started talking about me in her language. The manicure session was the worse part. She got an attitude bc I asked about seeing the color that I wanted her to use on my nails. I don't have time for folks providing a service to have an attitude bc I asked a question. Lastly, she asked me to move time she finished polishing my nail. (It was still wet and with no help gathering my things it was inevitable that I would mess up freshly polished nail so, I told her she would need to fix it since I'm rushed to move with no help) I really wish I could have seen Cindy. I went in for pedicures and they technicians did not clean underneath my toenails I know that is a grossest part of the pedicure but come on this should be a standard thing that you do. I'm ready to cry. I went for a regular manicure and a brow wax - both of which were badly done, on top of bad service. My brows looked OK in the nail salon but as soon as I got to my car and at home (aka good lighting) I discovered they'd over plucked one brow so that one eyebrow is lopsided. One brow looks surprised. I've done better waxing jobs on my own. I couldn't see it very well because all the lighting was coming from that direction and his the issue. There's also a big chunk of hair they forgot to wax. I have thick brows that are usually pretty hard to screw up and yet they did. Although this explains why a brow wax and mani was so cheap - they did a bad job. As to the manicure: the technician hurt my cuticles in some places and didn't nip off big lumps of dry skin so that when I got home I had to fix it. Probably for the best since I wasn't convinced the nippers were clean (why are you rubbing them with a cotton ball?). I wouldn't say my hands were massaged. I do more massaging when I put on handcreme. My hands are visibly dry and ashy even after my manicure. The technician had to keep touching up where she spilled nail polish on my cuticles. She complained the nail polish bottle I brought from home was hard for her to grip. It was Julep's square bottle and she was wearing rubber gloves, so exactly how hard is it to grip. Here's why I didn't bother to stay and complain further: I was a walk in and they took people who came in after me ahead of me. I had expressed my displeasure about this and suddenly they're ready to take me (ie right when I was ready to leave). I should have just left. I'm really worried about my eyebrows growing back properly and I'm going to a party tonight. My favorite moment was after realizing they'd started painting my nails before I paid, the technician was offering to open my wallet for me. Um, hell no. I'm worried it'll be a month before my eyebrow grows back normally and now I need to slightly over pluck one side or color the other in. This is just such a major screw up. I wish I'd followed my instincts and walked out when they took someone ahead of me. read more

I had gone to this location several times when it first opened up and I lived in the area - all was well. Cut to last weekend when I met a friend down here who treated me to a mani. I had called to schedule appointments for us however when we arrived only one person was available. Being the cool friend I let mi amiga go first figuring I would be next. Wrong! I sat around for close to 30 minutes waiting for someone to become available because they kept taking walk-ins! Um HELLO why did I call in advance? My friend was done by the time they got to me. Homegirl used a dirty tray of tools that I could see SKIN left on. I would have let them really have it then but the shotty manicure was done in such a flash I was ready to just leave. Really disappointed in this nail salon. My mother and I have gone to them for years and while they never had really good customer service, we kept coming back because the owner Cindy and her employee lyn have always been able to give us good pedicures. However for the past couple of times we've been rushed and sometimes even when we had appointments, they would take clients 5 mins before our scheduled appointments and made us wait. We've come every 2 to 3 weeks and we always leave a generous tip but that has not been enough for them to give us good customer service. They rushed my mom and even made her bleed, and when my mom asked for some alcohol to sterilize her toe, lyn went to get some and Cindy stopped her and spoke in her language to tell her not to help us. Cindy must of had a bad day but that was enough to never come back. They don't have a great selection of colors and they don't clean very well. They don't really talk to you and they aren't very nice. They always eat in front of customers and only speak to each other. There are so many great nail salons nearby, don't bother coming here. read more

Place is okay however I'm really picky on my nails being done so I will typically bring in my own supplies such as tips or powder and usually most places give a discount well not here and the technician was on her phone most of the time, no discounts (not even military) and being on the phone is what killed this place for me. This place is great. They have great chairs, great attitudes and great service. Everything is always clean and the technicians are very friendly. After just a couple of trips there, you really feel like family. I've had many mani/pedis here, had my eyebrows waxed a few times and even a facial once. Ok the basics.. They have a GREAT polish selection (gels, dip & regular). The nail techs are very polite and friendly, they greeted us as soon as we walked in. I came with my friend on a Monday in the middle of the day, so it wasn't busy at all. I got a regular pedicure, priced at $28 (which isn't bad, I've seen anywhere from $20-$30 in the area). I've had better pedicures at other locations, but they did a good job. They cleaned my cuticles, gave a massage and polished. The only reason I'm not giving the 5 stars is because I wish they would've cleaned my nail more (which I am used to from my regular salon). read more

Please, please, I beg please discuss price before allowing them to touch your nails. This is the only nail salon that I've ever visited where the prices "changes" each time you get your nails done. I went for a pedicure (with a design) & gel fill (with french and design). I cut my nails before arriving and was charged to "shape" my nails, because I decided to cut my nails myself before arriving, she decided it was necessary to charge me an additional $5 to shape them. I asked very kindly for her to list out each item that I was charged for and after several attempts and the number not adding up, I just gave up and paid because I didn't want to cause a scene, BUT I will NEVER return. I'm EXTREMELY disappointed with this salon, as I had gone here a few times before with no problems whatsoever until the last (and final) time I visited. I went to get a fill-in for my gel nails and brought in some pictures of designed manicures with me because I wanted something pretty/cute for Valentine's Day. The design I ended up choosing was pretty basic, and the technican had to hand paint it (using gel polish). Everything looked good, until after she put the top coat of gel polish on and it cured and I happened to look down at my hands... everything was very noticeably smeared. I immediately told her that I was not happy with how it turned out and was basically told there was nothing she could do. I wasn't going to accept that, I wanted it fixed. So I sat there and CALMLY insisted that I was not happy with the job that was done and I wanted it fixed. She called over another lady and they started speaking together in their native language, and then the other woman told me "well this is the best that we can do, what do you want for us to do for you? You should have said you didn't like it before the top coat was put on". I'm thinking to my self "are you seriously f'ing kidding me right now?!?!?!" but I wasn't going to lose my cool so I said that I didn't notice that it was smeared until after the top coat was put on and that it looked fine before that. I also told her that I wasn't going to walk around with a manicure that looked like a little kid had painted on my nails. Her reply was that they could file it down, repaint my nails but that they wouldn't do any more hand painting on them. Uh... really? You did a shoddy job of a manicure, your customer isn't happy and then you tell them too bad and only after they insist on having it fixed you finally say "fine but we're not going to fix it to the degree of what you originally came here for"??? This continues on for a while and ANOTHER lady comes over to say basically the same things, and once I realize I'm not getting anywhere with them I finally say ok fine I'll keep it as is but I'm never coming back here again. I go over to the register to pay, the woman who did my nails rings me up. By this time she's got a nasty attitude and even though I think she did wrong by just throwing a top coat on and probably noticing the smears but not doing anything about it I still give her a tip anyway because I'm not the typical a-hole customer. It was not a chincy tip, either. After I sign my receipt she walks away from the cash I left on the counter for her. WALKS AWAY FROM IT. She definitely & absolutely saw me pull it out of my wallet and lay it there. I even said out loud "here you go". I was so angry and off-put by her behavior and the entire situation that I almost started crying right there in the salon as the owner (one of the owners?) came over and tried to tell me that she wanted to make me happy and that the next time I came she would give me a great discount, blah blah blah. I couldn't get out of there fast enough and I will NEVER go back there again. I've recommended this place to people but no more. The thing is, when people saw my nails from a distance they would say "OMG they're so pretty!" and once I would show them up close they'd say "oh... that looks like a little kid painted it" or "they did a crappy job". I bought their top package as a gift for my wife. I made the appt. and my wife showed up on time. After 2 hours, they sent her on her way with just a manicure. My wife didn't know I'd bought the entire package, consisting of mani, pedi, facial and a 1 hour massage. When she came home and told me what happened, I went back and spoke with them. They acknowledged that they'd messed up, but wouldn't refund the balance due, after subtracting for services received. They asked me to wait a week for their manager. I have been coming to this salon for about two years now. I found it on yelp and decided to give it a try. This place is a must do. The ladies are all very sweet, talkative if you want them to be and quiet if you need a little bit of R&R. They are very detail oriented, and caring. I began coming here when I moved here after a military transfer and they have become like a away from home family. When I was pregnant they were careful and gave me a little bit more attention because of the horrible edema. They are more than happy to follow your instructions when it comes to individual needs, and not so feminine that men aren't comfortable coming in for a toe cleanup. Best part is there aren't a bunch of fumes like other places! My advice to a new customer is truly pamper yourself on your first visit. I get a spa pedicure with a hand painted nail design for $37. Sure you can kick out the design and pay 8-10 less, but the designs they do really are the frosting on the cake! My nail polish usually lasts between 3-4 weeks. read more

When getting your nails done you want to feel relaxed and at ease during the whole experience. The fact that the staff engaged with each other constantly in there home language without making an attempt to relate to the clients was a bit rude. I have no prob with them talking in a language I dont understand especially since I have only taken the time to learn one language myself, but acknowledge that you are still aware that MY foot is still in your care and that you care! Also the male working there was making very racial comments to his customer. It was clear he thought he was being funny but he was way over the top to the point that his customer said outloud "you are about to loose a customer". I did give them three stars because I felt the tech my daughter had along with another was genuinely trying to avoid her co-workers poor work ethics. Otherwise the place is clean and if your looking for good mani and pedi without the ambiance your good to go. read more

I recently moved to the area and was looking for a place to have a set of gel nails done. I read the reviews here and after seeing the positive reviews and how several others mentioned being pleased with their gel nails, I selected this one. I told the nail technician I wanted liquid gel. He told me he didn't do liquid gel, but powder. This is not gel, it's acrylic with a thin coat of gel on top. You pay for the price of gel and get the cheaper product. I explained repeatedly that I did not want the powder on my nails and have had multiple issues in the past. I probably should've left at this point. He asked me to give him a chance and if I had any problems to come back and he'd fix it for me. He was friendly and chatty with me while he applied the acrylic but as soon as he started drilling it down he down very annoyed with me. He apparently thought I was trying to be difficult and fighting him as he manipulated my fingers and repeatedly told me I was fighting him and I needed to relax, shaking my fingers and hand. He drilled my cuticle so badly that I started to bleed then began to give me a speech about "see what you did now because you can't relax!" I hadn't been tense until then. It seemed at this point he was in a big hurry to get me out of his chair. The French manicure he painted was sloppy and he literally globbed the coat of gel over the top of the acrylic. He barely let it cure under the UV for even a minute then quickly ran the alcohol over. I left with sticky nails and gel that was all over my fingers and cuticles. I had to go home and file them so they were shaped somewhat attractive, but they look thick and ugly. Worst set of nails I have ever gotten. A week later they are lifting, which was why I didn't want acrylic in the first place. The only upside is that he did use acrylic so I can have then soaked off somewhere else and new nails put on. read more
