I wouldn't recommend. They can get you in a pinch and the tech I had was nice, but her work was sloppy. Things were obviously off with the nails and she just left them. I walked in and specifically asked for a color I wanted. They said okay and proceeded to start my color change and waited til it was time to start painting my nails to act dumb like they didn't know they didn't have the color. I knew they were aware they didn't have it bc she automatically walked to the DND instead of OPI and the color I asked for is SPECIFICALLY manufactured by OPI which I kept telling her to look at the OPI section of the wall. Another lady came who I believe was the manager came to see what happened and she gave the excuse saying " they didn't have the color when they ordered. they didn't deliver it" SO CLEARLY, YOU ALL KNEW YOU DIDNT HAVE IT. I still paid because I didn't want any issues and clearly I was upset and made it very clear to them it wasn't fair they started the process knowing they didn't have the specific color I wanted just to get money. As I left and looked in my mirror I saw who I think is the "manager" take pictures of my plates on my car. To the idiot who had whatever idea to do with my plates I have proof I paid. This is a terrible way of providing service. If you know you don't have what the client wants just be honest so we can spend our money somewhere else. I've been here a few times... I just came here today to get my acrylics removed. In usually very understanding and super nice but I was pissed off once she had made one of my nails bleed in fact almost all of my nail beds are ripped off in some way and before coming here I had done there myself WITH OUT DAMAGING THEM. Crazy how this place that has nail techs and they still messed up my nails. They never fail making sure I leave very satisfied... but whoever is taking the appt. times lately need to be more efficient. I've made an appt several times, came in on time even earlier to end up waiting over 45 mins... because they attended a walk in. How disappointing is that? **UPDATE** The nail tech cut my ankles when she scrubbed it with the pumice stone. I didn't notice until the next day Bc now they're red and have sore spots. Definitely will never be coming back, would give 0 stars if I could. 0/10 don't recommend. I had a good experience until checkout. I requested the Dead Sea nail pedicure which is listed as $50 but she charged me $60. I asked why and I couldn't understand what she said so I paid the $60 and left. I also left a $5.00 tip because the nail tech did a good job. The issue wasn't with paying, it was with the customer service. When I asked about the price, the lady seemed annoyed after she answered me and as soon as I turned around to leave, she said someone in her native language to her colleague in a fussy manner. I'm 99.99% sure she said something about me, because I was confused on the price. I think it's rude to talk about your customers in your native language knowing well they don't understand it. It was an innocent question that I asked after I already paid so I'm not sure where her attitude came from. It's so obvious when you're talking about your customers even if they don't understand your language and it's very rude. I loved wonder nails and I have been going there ever since a friend recommended them to me around the time they opened. They usually do a very good job and are very friendly and I love that they ask about my family,etc when I come in to get my nails done. However, upon going there this past weekend I had such bad service that I do not see myself returning unfortunately. I came in as a walk in and usually go to vicky (who is a fabulous nail tech) she was working on a client so I decided to wait for her. I came into the salon around noon and there appeared to be only 2 customers and only two nail techs. I waited for about half an hour before vicky called me back. She insisted the last time I came that she will give me a new acrylic set, which is why I came this past weekend, she said that the previous time I came that she didn't have time to do a full set or do the design I wanted, so I complied with her instructions to pick a single color and get that done. When I came this past weekend and sat down, she gave me the same complaint as the previous time I visited and told me that she can only do a single color and cannot give me a new set. I was very upset. And just told her to take my nails off. The technicians told me to come back the next day or later that evening (which I did) and I even called ahead to let them know that I was coming because they insisted I came at the time they told me earlier that day. I continue to wait at the salon for almost an hour until I decided to go and was still not seen. I still recommend this nail shop they are very nice, but I was very upset with the service I received. read more

Being fairly new to the area, I have been skeptical about getting services because I haven't been too successful. I looked up their ratings and decided to give them a try. Well I had a mixed experience.. The customer service was great but my nails looked horrible.. This was my first and last time coming to this particular salon. I had an older lady do my nails and I have NEVER had a set of nails that I soaked off the same day. All of my nails were either crooked, thick on one side or sticking straight up. Lucky for me, I read the reviews of Wonder Nails, and thought it might be a good replacement. To my delight, when I got there, Nancy greeted me. This shop is so much nicer than the last place, first you are greeted by Kim and Vidky, so pleasant and friendly, and then if you need a pedi, ask for Nancy. I do not recommend this place. I started going to this place because it was convenient from my house. Even if you have an appointment, they will have you waiting while they take their time with someone else. (I waited for an hour). Once it was finally my turn, Vicky was rushing on my nails. I had to ask her to do things over and she made excuses of why she couldn't do it. I asked for gel polish as a courtesy as I didn't have more time to wait for regular polish to dry. And she agreed. In the middle of doing my nails, she throws the file down and just rudely gets up to start a pedicure. I am guessing "Kim" is the owner. At the end of the rude and unprofessional service, she spoke in her language to "Kim' and tried to charge me $40.00 for just an acrylic refill, 1 nail repair and free gel polish. I refused to pay that kind of money for that type of service and I told "Kim" they have never charged me that much before. LONG STORY short, I agreed to pay $25.00. My nails were painted sloppy and filed very crooked. Throughout my whole time I was polite, as I wanted to return because it was close to my house. But I just cant. This is the WORST experience I have ever had at any nail shop. I will find a more friendly and professional place and will never return there again. DO NOT!! I repeat: DO NOT let the man that works here touch your feet. I went in to get a pedicure, and let me tell you, it was the most painful pedicure I've ever gotten in my life. As he was cutting my cuticles he decides to PULL it instead, which was extremely comfortable. And then all of a sudden, BAM he pulls the skin off and my toe starts to bleed. To make matters worse, he did the same thing on the opposite foot. He then proceeded to file my bleeding nail, soiling the nail file, and though I was sure he would dispose of that file, much to my surprise he puts it right back in with the others. Made me think of how many other people's bleeding toes had been filed with that thing. YUCK! One Word: UNSANITARY!! I won't be going back here anymore. My toe still hurts and I can't help but to think of all the possible infections I could've gotten here. Eeek.. read more

I had a very poor experience with this nail salon and will not be going back again. I was new to the area and tried out the nail salon. The person doing my pedicure was using the pumice stone and starting rubbing on the same spot on my big toe. I pulled my foot back and told him it hurt. He continued to scrub that same spot and my toe started to bleed heavily. This left a VERY deep wound in my toe, and I will post the pictures. This happened to me May 25 and my toe still has not healed over a month later. I did not receive an apology for what happened. I also did not receive any deduction off the price of my pedicure. This experience was very painful and I still have not been able to wear closed-toe shoes because of the pain it causes me. I hope not too many other people have had this experience, but I do not want it to happen to someone else. I advise people to stay away and try another salon. read more
