Went here for a manicure and gel polish. After less than 9 days and over $60 dollars the polish started lifting completely up. When I looked under the polish I was a green fungus like color under there. I went back and she said it was water under the nail and polish. After over 20 years of getting my nails done I have never had these happen before! She started peeling the polish off with a cuticle remover that she just picked up off her table not sanitized or in a wrapper. When I asked her to stop and soak it off the right way she had an attitude and was rude! Never apologized for possibly give me an infection or wasting my money for my nails to last less than 9 days. After reading all the comments in regard to sanitation of equipment and disregard to public health I will be sending the board the reviews. read more

My husband had an appointment to get his haircut next door so I decided to get a basic manicure while I waited. The price was not worth the service. The technician kept trying to up sale me on a spa manicure and waxing. The feeling I got was that my refusal to accept these services meant the manicure was treated like a rush job with the silent treatment. Then when I was paying for my service she did not give me change even though I asked twice and instead kept it as tip. The service was not worth a 25% tip. The manicure itself was botched and did not last long. I will never return there because the crappy service is not worth the price or time. read more

I've been going here for about a year or so and really enjoyed going to Tracey who did the best eyebrows and feet. Now the prices wasn't that bad I think it started around $30/35 for a regular pedicure and eyebrows. Now I went today and the price jumped to $45! This is just a regular pedicure not damn spa! And the older woman did a pretty good job but she never asked me if I wanted some water, juice, etc like Tracey did and the other nail techs did their customers. Also, I asked to put glitter on a couple of my toes which she didn't understand or ignored. Also, my eyebrows did not turn out like I wanted them to and when I asked her to pluck this one pesky hair to make it look good she wouldn't do it. So I'm going to have to find me another place because spending $45 on a regular pedicure and only eyebrows is too rich for my blood. Hell I didn't even get gel polish everything was basic! My overall visit was not bad, however I wish I had a better outcome. When I arrived (on a Saturday) I was able to immediately sit down and let my nails soak. After about 5 minutes, a technician started on my nails. She didn't say anything to me, expect ask the general questions like "what color." Normally that would somewhat bother me but it actually didn't because at this salon there's a nice medium sized T.V. that I was able to watch. Plus I loved that it wasn't a boring channel like a shopping channel, which I've seen at other salons. Haha! She moved pretty efficiently and the time went by fast, even though it was an elapsed time of two hours. Now I loved the INITIAL outcome and I would have given this location 5 stars but the durability of the nails is where this location lacked. Typically when I get the SNS dip powder I get the neutral powder first, then color powder, and then a clear top coat, however that's not what happened here. First she applied the color, the neutral powder, and then the clear coat at the top. I have no idea if that was the cause of my problem but I always get the sns dip powder and I've tried it at several different locations and I have never had the top coat peel off!! The very next day the clear top coat peeled! It was soooooooo ugly. I got my nails done Saturday, Sunday they started peeling, and Monday they were hideous! I tried to play it off because only two nails were peeled by Monday, but they were so bad that a coworker, while at work, said "you got a new color but they don't look so fresh" -_-!!! Listen, with the price being $50 (typically $40 at other locations) I don't expect things like this happening! I hope it was just this technician and not every single worker. However if I ever decide to return ( the chances seem very slim) I'll prob go to the manager or ask for someone that is praised in the reviews. read more

I would have loved to give Divine 5 stars but I'll get to that at the end.... The staff were all friendly and oh so nice. I got the deluxe pedicure and the technician took her time. The massage was great. My daughter got a pedicure and manicure. Her technician seemed new but more experienced technicians were there watching over what she was doing. She did a great job. They offered a beverage and made us feel comfortable. Now for the part I did not like, being from New York I am not sure what the rules are as far as sanitation. But when they were exfoliating our feet, they used a pumice that had obviously seen its fair share of feet. It was well worn. And I am not sure pouring alcohol all over the cuticle tools really sanitizes them. Here's to hoping I don't get a foot infection. read more

I had an appointment on Monday (2/10/2020) with Vicky @ 4 p.m. I arrived @ 3:55 p.m. I was told that Vicky was next door. Another individual called Vicky on her cell phone. Once she hung up, the individual came over to me & started to clip my nails and utilize the tool to remove some of the nail polish. Vicky arrived and communicated to me that my appointment was @ 3. I said I had it on my calendar for 4 and that you should have called me as a reminder. Vicky got the bowl for soaking to remove my nail polish. While doing this Vicky asked me did I pick out the color. I said no. Vicky said you need to and "hurry up". I was really taken back by her statement and rudeness. I replied, I did not have a chance because my nails are soaking. Vicky was rushing through the whole process. She left a lot of the old nail polish color on my nails and put the tips on. I inquired about her removing the old color and she said don't worry I know what I am doing. At this point, I was quite disturbed by her actions. All during my appointment, her co worker was sitting next to us and they engaged in a conversation in Vietnamese, which I found totally rude and offensive. Vicky did a rush job and offered to put a valentine on my nail. I declined the offer. She said "I will do it free." I said no. She did it anyway and put the valentine on upside down. I said something about it and she ignored me. I see spaces where the nail polish is shallow or missing on the sides of my nails. She usually matches the length of the nails with the other hand so they will all be even. She did not do that this time. It was a complete rush job couple with rudeness. If she had another appointment, which she did @ 5, all she had to do was communicate this and have me reschedule. Obviously, greed set in. I will not be returning to Divine Nail & Spa as I was not totally satisfied with the level of service by Vicky but I was hoping for better. This incident definitely made me make up my mind not to return. I will go to Happy Nails 13422 Jefferson Davis Hwy, Woodbridge VA 2219. They are not rude and they off their clients water, coffee, tea, a variety of sodas, a variety of wine & champagne accompanied with a small plate of a variety of fresh fruit. I went Divine Nail Salon today-10/22/19 to get a powder dip fill. I had been here once before and my nails were decent so I came back. This time my nails looked horrible. The powder dip was very thick, uneven, bumpy, and my nails not filed evenly. Powder was all over my cuticles. As I was getting my nails done, I expressed concerns. The nail tech seemed very annoyed with me. Once finished, I told her I didn't like them and she started yelling at me. Telling me that she spent 2 hours on them and she can't help me and said it's cause of my nails. She was very rude and aggressive!!! She offered to do my nails over in a very nasty/rude tone but did not feel comfortable with her touching me. I never once spoke to her rudely and even gave her a tip despite the poor work. I must have searched 6-8 salons before my husband and I came to this one. Unfortunately I did not ask for my nail technician's name but she was so patient with me. I can be indecisive and change my mind a few times before making a decision, annoying, I know. Through out the whole process, I never felt rushed. I didn't feel like the women talked too much, they weren't chatting much amongst themselves which is typical and common but this made the atmosphere very relaxing. They did an awesome job on my husband. He is very hard on his hands and feet and they took their time and paid attention to detail for the both of us. Had an amazing experience for a few reasons: 1. Salon was not too busy so I felt like I could relax more 2. Lisa, my nail tech is AMAZING. Very respectful, takes her time to make sure you are satisfied with her work. She is very efficient and completes both manicures and pedicures in a timely manner and to the best of her ability. Been with her from one salon to the next. 3. The chairs for the pedicure were pretty comfortable 4. The new OPI collection was available with many beautiful colors to chose from Few things I didn't like, 1. The design of the salon was too crowded , pictures of random things on the walls. It was unpleasant to look at. Also i personally hate fake flowers so it makes the appearance of the salon look full of clutter. 2. I am literally still sitting in the chair and I am so irritated. First , when I sat down the lady was taking off my polish and she asked me what type of pedicure I wanted . I told her just a basic pedicure and she immediately started rushing. Yes, it was that obvious. Then instead of clipping my toe nails with a clipper she starts to use that damn tool to shave them down. She hit my skin and it was burning like hell. Because she is RUSHING. After that she asks me if I want a design , I tell her yes on my big toes. She says OK 5.00 each toe. I said ok but I have never been charged per toe before. She decided that she was gonna get her money since I only wanted the basic. Now 2 minutes ago she dropped what I assume is alcohol on my toes and one of them is burning beyond belief. I told her please wipe it off, she said it will be ok and didn't wipe it off . WTH. No massage no lotion, nothing! By far this is the worst pedicure I have ever had. Oh did I mention there are only two customers in here with other techs just sitting around. So they are NOT busy. She is finished and I just looked down at thw designs , she has one flower right in the center of my left toe nail and the other one is way up in the corner of the right toe nail. There is no reason for her to be rushing! My daughters will be going one shopping center down to have their nails done somewhere else today. The reason you get SNS is so that you can keep your nails growing healthy don't go to them if you want this to be your case.
