"Quality Plumbing" is the plumbing company our condo association recommends for our building downtown. We'll never use them again. Today we needed a replacement of a 1/2"'dual washing machine valve done. The plumber that showed up 20 minutes early (not a good thing for people with highly scheduled lives) acted like he had never seen one before and wanted to replace with 2 single values (thus loose water pipes coming out of the wall). I told him they were available at the Home Depot 10 minutes from my house for $26. (They were actually $26.82). He said he couldn't do it or if he could, not today. I had already paid to shut the water off to this portion of of building so I went to Home Depot, got a new one. Removed the two screws and the old valve. Put the new o-rings & valve in. Works great. He could have taken the time to get the part, installed it, and still have been finished within an hour. I was going to have him snake three drains because one is slow draining. That could have been a second billable hour. Their loss. About 1.5 years ago we had them replace of sink drain stoppers. After the "plumber" left, I noticed the name on the stopper was installed upside down. Never again will we use them & I hope to have them removed from our condo association's list of acceptable plumbers. read more

I emailed them on a Sunday for a clogged bathroom sink, they came on Monday morning at 10:30 am. Wow. They needed to replace the tubing under the sink and only charged for the parts on top of the hour of labor. I have nothing but positive feedback to give about this company. I have had them out to my home three times and have been very pleased each time. We live in an older home and have needed updated showers, toilet repair and install, drains unclogged, and our main cleaned out. Each time, they have come out and fixed each problem. They were on time, courteous, and did a perfect job. I had six, yes six different plumbers out to fix a leaky toilet. My home warranty company that I pay $500 a year for never fixed it. This company is the only one who permanently repaired the problem. I also had my other toilet installed by them. After putting it on and checking it, our plumber was not happy with the way it was set, so he took it back off and redid it. There was no added charge for this. I could just tell that they cared about their work and finished product. I am confused by the one negative review, I have had nothing but positive experiences. Great customer service, polite and professional. I called Quality Rooter & Plumbing Inc to have a hot water re circulator pump installed. They came out on time and even put on the shoe covers before I even had a chance to say anything about the floors. They had the pump and remote control installed in no time at all. Dear Yelpers BEWARE! Well, these people are liars! First of all nobody charge for trouble shooting, but they DO! To make the long story short, Came out to give us an estimate, charge me $85 bucks, could'n do the job, told me they will reschedule an appointment for the next day (which was a lie). Took them to come back 5 days, so today they came back told me that they can not preform the repairs again and the next available appointment would be in almost 3 weeks!!! Quality Rooter and Plumbing Inc. provides the best service possible. I heard about them after they won an award for their outstanding customer service. They live up to the standard and prestige the award gives them. Cherilyn answers the phones and made me an emergency same day appointment because my water heater had gone bad. She was courteous and friendly giving me an estimation of the cost for the job, as well as a reasonable time frame for the plumbers to arrive. Three men arrived within the time frame, Eric, Nick and Daniel. All three took care of the problem efficiently and quickly removing the old water heater and installing a new one. They took the old water heater away for disposal as well. They installed it about two weeks ago and I still have had no issues with the new one they installed. Their price was reasonable and beat most of the other quotes I had received before I came across their company. I will be recommending Quality Rooter to any one who ever asks for a plumber. read more
