My need was during business hours on a Friday. I had a sewer clog at my lateral and a very nearby sewer cleanout from which to work. The positive: - within 90-minutes of calling, the plumber was there to clear the line. He told me camera of the line was included. - Jerry and his two guys were very nice, very polite. The negative: - after the first guy arrived and got started, Jerry showed up with another guy (now 3 guys on site), and told me the camera was going to be additional charge. I told him that the first guy said it was included. Jerry quickly said ok. That seemed odd. - though they said tree roots were the cause, clearing the line was done without the root cutter head which I would've expected. So no effort to remove any roots, just poke a hole in the blockage to allow the water to pass through the line. - Jerry informed me the price to clear the clog was $250. I was surprised, so he said "ok, then $200". Again, it seemed a little shifty. He offered to return with a hydrojetter and charge me $600 if ai chose that service but by then I already felt this was not who I wanted to work with any further beyond the immediate need. Afterward I found competing service providers charge ~$100 (some include a camera) for the work I received that day and would've also done some root removal rather than just poke the clog to clear the backup. I chose this provider based on Yelp reviews. But I felt it was smart to circle back and leave one of my own based on my experience. read more

We experienced abnormally high water pressure yesterday and deduced it to the pressure release valve being faulty, but didn't really know what to do. If you're like me, and you called every plumber in San Diego- STOP RIGHT HERE! Jerry took me in last minute and exceeded all of my expectations. I needed my sink replaced and wanted to do it myself. The bottom of my sink was a nightmare. Everything was corroded and painted over. All other plumbing companies charged a minimum of $125/HOUR and couldn't provide services until the end of the week. I called Dr. Rooter and Plumbing on an emergency call. I got home from work and noticed a gas smell and water pooling near my old water heater. I knew it was gonna go sooner rather than later and sooner was tonight. I tried a few other businesses but they were booked or oddly you needed some sort of membership to have an emergency plumber come out (sounds expensive). I called Jerry, the owner of this company and he sent out Johnny to respond first. Johnny diagnosed the issue as a broken water heater. Considering this was a last minute call, Jerry called me and met me at a local Home Depot to purchase parts and a new water heater, while getting the info of parts he needed from Johnny. I came out and paid for the parts and heater and Jerry hauled it back to my house. In a matter of 3 hours Johnny got the old water heater out and the new water heater was on. I needed two sinks installed for my business so I contacted Jerry/Gerardo to do the job since he(his employees) had already worked at my home once before. He installed two sinks with very low water pressure and no hot water. They did a very intricate plumbing job that didn't do the job intended. As a professional plumber I expected him to tell me prior the installation of the two sinks that the flow of water was going to be very low but he didn't. The also installed a line for hot water without checking first to see if I had hot water which I didn't but he did the plumbing anyways so that he could change more. During the whole job he keep saying that the job he was doing for me was $1,800 which was double the amount he quoted me. At the end of the job I ended up paying $950 via Zelle to his personal account because he didn't wanted me to pay via check for tax reasons(I will still be claiming this as an expense for my business). I was very disappointed with his work, luck of honest and expertise. I had to hire someone else to correct the job he did. read more
