UNQUALIFIED SERVICE! Do not have any services done here. April 20 I brought a set of hard to find 3 piece wheels to put on my 80 series Landcruiser. Simon was assigned to do that. The wheels were swapped over, no issues. I got home to download the old wheels and noticed that they shredded around the lip where the machine separates them from the tires. This caused a deep gash in the lip of the wheel. Simon didn't mention this to me at all. I came back to the shop to bring it the owner/managers attention. I was approached by Simon who I didn't want to speak with but kept hovering around me wanting to discuss the issue. Spoke with the manager and she stated the owner just had a child. Fair enough. Please have him call me. No call. Nothing. Took the wheel to Kwiksilver, they said they couldn't fix it. I came back Saturday to Quality Tire Co. Owner was there. After we spoke, he wanted to solve the problem with whatever I thought the resolution would be. Only problem is, is that the wheels are rare. Very hard to replace something that's been discontinued for over 30 years. I explained to him that I had a buyer (original owner ) and they pulled out the sale for the overall condition of the wheel. He said it's "still sellable". I could sell the wheel for $50. Doesn't make it sellable. Owner was very indifferent when it came to the issue and when I explained the attitude his employee at work has affecting his professionalism at work, he defended his employee saying it's not true. I've heard it every time I come here from this employee and I don't usually care until it affects how they perform their duties at work, which it did. If you have nice wheels and want good service for people who hold their business accountable for their mistakes and actions, SHOP SOMEWHERE ELSE!! Owner defends his employees terrible work habits and literally could care less about the customer afterwards. No call back. I had to come find you and then the indifferent attitude. Woke up this morning to a flat truck tire with a giant bolt stuck in it -- not exactly how I planned to start the day. Thankfully, the folks at Quality Tire of Summerville got me taken care of. They were courteous, quick, inexpensive, and just around the corner from home. I sincerely appreciate them patching and plugging my tire so I could get back on the road and on with my busy day. Just got a tire from here. After getting a oil change today was told I need a tire the same one I just got from here. Previously left a review. The owner was on maternity leave and was told unsure of when he would be back I called today asking where he was she said he left I said oh he's still on maternity leave she said yes however someone left a review a week ago and it's been responded too. Do yourself a favor and take your business ANYWHERE but Mizzells!!!! A little history about my dealings with this store. I have been doing business with them since 1992, the store had a previous owner who my entire family did business with. I have bought dozens of tires for my vehicles from this store over the years. NOT ANY MORE. About a month ago, I went up there to have a valve stem replaced on my wifes truck. The guy that did it had me sign some sort of waver because of the age of my wifes truck (1989 GM) He then told me that the tires were old and needed replacing. I explained to him that the truck is not being driven and has been sitting in the driveway. He went ahead and fixed the valve stem no problem. Price: 20.00 TODAY: I came outside to find another tire had a bad valve stem and was leaking badly. I took the truck up to Mizzels & figured I might as well replace the remaining 3 valve stems. "Frank" quoted me 60.00 to change three valve stems and told me "not to worry, they would take care of me". Anyway, while I waited outside, the guy who repaired my tire the last time came up to me a said "remember what I told you last time? The tires are too old. I told him that all I needed was the valve stems changed and then he told me that he could not do it because of the age of the tires. I went back inside to talk to Frank and the tire guy promptly let Frank know that the tires were old. Frank then tells me "we can't fix your tires". I told him REPEATADLY that I did not understand why they couldn't replace a valve stem. After all, Mizzels just fixed one of the tires a month ago, same problem. Frank got nasty and told me flat out that they were not going to do it, that if I wanted it fixed I would have to buy new tires. I told him that their reasoning for not changing out the valve stem was just silly. That is when things got ugly. I asked Frank what he wanted for a tire then. He next response to tell me to leave "his" store and that he did not want to do business with me. I was dumbfounded. I said I cannot believe that you talk to your customers like this. He then told me again that he wasn't doing any business with me and that I could stand there with that stupid look on my face all that I want. Then he started calling me names and continued to say that I was stupid. THE NEW OWNER OF THIS STORE SHOULD KNOW HOW THIS MAN TREATS HIS CUSTOMERS. HE LOST A 1000.00 SALE TODAY TO DISCOUNT TIRES IN OAKBROOK. THIS MAN "FRANK"NEEDS TO BE FIRED. read more

Tech forgot to air up the tire they replaced And the "owner" was confused on how to pick the best tire from the two old to replace a spare. Went back up within an hour to get them to fix their mistake with the dry rotted spare tire and the still didn't air the tire up they forgot the first time. Good thing we didn't just get right on the highway and stopped back home to check their "quality" work. Whole family could have died. read more

I bought a tire from these thieves that lasted a month and a half. I had a flat tire on my way home and had to come back and get it fixed. Then it got a knot and another leak. I took it in to get another tire and they charged me full price and told me it was my problem. Never again they prey on single women. Two men in the waiting room we're told what the price was going to be before they were given a bill. It was never discussed with me as I thought I was getting a replacement for the bad tire they had sold me. And then they hit me with the full price. When I asked what if I hadn't had the money? The manager said it's foolish of you to assume it was free. I've been buying used tires for years and never been treated this way by a used tire business.. This is nothing but a con job. My original old tire was in better condition than the piece of junk they sold me initially that lasted less than two months. After reading the so-called owner ( who I'm sure is only the manager,) Reply I have to add that I did not drive 5000 miles on this tire in a month and a half. This was just another lie on his behalf. Just because he hires women doesn't mean he respects them or treats them as good as he treats the male customers. Two men were consulted on what the price would be before they agreed to it. I was the only female there and the only one who was not consulted. He knew that I was expecting a replacement tire at no charge but waited untill it was already on my car before telling me the full price. Ladies beware and anybody looking for a good service beware. I just left Quality tire and Frank must be the rudest person in the south . He is always rude but today he was worse than I have ever seen him. He charged me $40.00 to replace two valve stems on two tires I had brought in that were not even mounted on the car. When I told him that's what he charged me for mounting balancing and new valve stems the last time I came in he said where are you from New York know that was an insult lol. He also said if you don't like it don't come back and I told him after coming their for almost 40 years he can be sure I will never come back and he said can he get that in writing so I wrote it on the work order and I won't repeat what he said when I left, take your business somewhere else. read more

4 or 5 stars. I hardly give any one 5 stars, but i did for them. That is because when it comes to tires they are hard to beat. They don't have a fancy shop with fancy flooring but they have great tires at great prices. Tires for trailers to sports cars. I have to drive 30 min to get to them because i live on JI, but the drive is worth it. read more
