Let me start by saying 90% of my reviews are 4-5 stars and being a small business owner myself I…read moretry to be as understanding and forgiving as I can possibly be with my fellow small business owners. Let me start with the good - The bed liner looks awesome and made my older vehicle with faded plastic panels look almost brand new. I get lots of compliments on this bedliner and my guess is that it will hold up and look good for years to come. My judgement is that this is a great product. My issues with Line-X were all concerning the customer experience. Any 4 or 5 of these by themselves would not even cause me to write a negative review but when the total gets to 10+ and I'm paying NOT a small amount of money for the job, at some point I need to give voice to my experience. 1) I made an appointment to meet someone and get an in-person bid in July 2020. I met with someone and was told I'd have a quote within a week. After waiting a couple of weeks, I reached out several times asking for the person and was eventually told the guy who did my walk through got transferred to another store and so I made an appointment to go up there and get a new quote. I can understand. Things happen. So I made the 1.5hr round trip back up there to try again. 2) The work took longer than expected but again, no problem. I was told 2-3 days and it was 10+ days but hey there's a pandemic. People are short-staffed, etc. Let's have some grace with everyone. 3) The owner texted to confirm that it was done and ready for pick up on a Friday. I called up there on Saturday, September 12th, 2020 the day of pick-up just to confirm that everything was ready to go and explained I was going to be driving 1.5hr round trip from Austin (for the 4th time) so please put eyeballs on the car and confirm everything is 100% complete which they confirmed. I loaded up the wife and two kids and headed out on a Saturday to pick up the vehicle. When I got there, the guy who met us was the guy who had been transferred to another store. I guess he got transferred back? Maybe. It's possible I guess. 4) I quickly noticed a bunch of interior plastic panels and parts in a box in the cargo area that hadn't been put back on the vehicle. Not a big deal. Somebody just missed it. I explained that I'll take my family to lunch and return in an hour. 5) I also pointed out at that time a bunch of black overspray on the body of the vehicle. He said he would try to get the overspray off and started wiping it with a rag which had some kind of solvent on it I guess. Dude looked pretty stoned by the way which I have no problem with but maybe do that when you are working on your own car and not mine. When I returned everything looked acceptable (although not what I was expecting for $2,250) and I needed to get back to Austin so off we go! 6) On the way home driving S. on Mopac I could hear a faint noise *bup-bup-bup-bup-bup-bup-bup-bup-bup-bup-bup-bup* coming from the front left fender. The front wheel well area had become detached and was rubbing against the tire which caused significant damage to the wheel well. The clips were gone. I had some zip ties on hand so I rigged it up as best I could for a temporary fix. 7) I looked under the car to inspect the rest of the body clips and quickly realized they had only reinstalled about 80% of the panel clips around the vehicle. I personally have installed and replaced body clips on this vehicle so I'm pretty sure it wasn't like this when I dropped it off but even if it was I would think they would re-install the paneling without skipping clips. At this point, I was pretty frustrated and didn't want to waste any more time dealing with Line-X, driving 1.5hr round trip, etc. so I just accepted it and planned to deal with this myself. 8) After having the vehicle back for a while and seeing the passenger side body on a bright day, I noticed a big circular blemish on the passenger door where the guy had been wiping off the overspray the day I picked it up. Now every time I look at this door I notice this really annoying spot on the clear coat of an otherwise pristine and heavily upgraded vehicle. 9) I eventually got around to contacting Line-X in Jan 2021 because I had major surgery in October and a baby in December 2020. I believe the final straw that put me over the edge was when I got a quote for $200 to replace the plastic wheel well part. I wanted someone up there to know about my experience. I was told there was a new GM since November and "that we will do what we can do (to) make it right". I told him I wasn't interested in driving all the way back up there and I sent them photos of the damage instead. Tyler reached back out to me later in January and said that he would personally come by my house to look at the vehicle but never did. 10) Finally, I noticed there were some more missing interior body pieces from when they removed the door handles and I had to spend an hour at the junkyard to hunt down replacements.

From the shop owner to the office manager everyone we met with was extremely professional and friendly! I highly recommend this company and will be doing more business with them in the future as I look for other accessories for our truck. They have way more than just bed liners, need to save up some $$$ first so I can go back and buy more. Thanks again, also Veteran friendly!

I showed them the photo I brought in, the photo from the Ranch Hand website which was on the flyer in their show room. The older lady in the office proceeded to tell me that despite the fact the brochure which was right in front of her show differently that I was wrong. It has little to do with the bumper, quality or even how it was installed. It is 100% to do with the attitude of the staff, the lack of attention to detail Or willingness to admit they ordered the wrong part. To top it off they couldn't even figure out what the balance correctly. In the end it was a five dollar difference, but I was willing to pay it to leave and not have to deal with the worst customer service I've had in a while. You really have to want the bumper and have no other options to use Spillar. Make sure you get everything in writing, keep your paperwork, and dot the I's and cross the T's. No matter what, don't expect them to apologize if they screw up. Prologue: After reviewing the paperwork I realized they had even written it down, the way we had discussed it. I confronted them with this and told them they needed to make it right. It's hard to be a small business and turn a profit, I of all people understand that. An apology would've gone along way, a few hundred dollars discounted drastically changes my attitude. I have much higher hopes going into this

Oh my gawd this day I was sitting at home at 8:30am and figured I had nothing to do for several hours, so I got on my Hyundai app and scheduled a 9:00am appointment and 30 minutes later I showed up. I had to wait a free minutes for Anthony to help me, but he was very friendly. He answered my questions and suggested I get the cabin air filter replaced for $84. At first I told them to do it, but a few minutes later I Googled it and saw how easily I could replace it myself for $15 and he removed that from the work order for me with no problem. The waiting area is nothing special but it has a big TV with sofas and an area with tables. There's wifi, a vending machine for snacks, and a free coffee maker (that can make anything you want and the mocha was good). A standard service took about an hour and a half. Also...they have 2 popcorn machines and just before I left at 10:28am they started making some!!! Yay!!

When I picked up my vehicle, it was clear that basic delivery standards were not followed. The car was not even washed, which is the bare minimum you would expect when receiving a vehicle. It honestly felt rushed and careless. What's even more concerning is the condition of the steering wheel. It was not properly assembled, and while adjusting it, the horn unexpectedly started honking. That is not just an inconvenience -- that's a serious quality control issue. It raises real concerns about the level of care and attention given to the vehicle before handing it over to a customer. There is no excuse for delivering a vehicle in this condition. Between the lack of preparation and what appears to be improper assembly, this experience reflects very poorly on the dealership's standards. I expect much better from a dealership representing Hyundai. At the very least, customers should receive a properly cleaned vehicle and have confidence that critical components, such as the steering wheel housing, are correctly installed and inspected. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this dealership and suggest that you take your Hyundai elsewhere. Not writing to complain, this is what I legitimately experienced.

I've spent $12,000+ here in the past 6 weeks, and it's the most fun I've ever had spending money. I've gotten compliment after compliment on my "rig" as well as being initially offered $70,000 for my 9-year-old ride before the person realized it was just a decade old 4Runner souped up by 4 Wheel Parts Austin. Let me tell you what I appreciate most: service. You'll notice I haven't written a Yelp review in a decade, but these guys deserve it. If you've ever worked in business with a proper team dynamic, you'll recognize it too. But I'll put names to it, so you'll know who you're dealing with. -------------------------------------------------------- KIRK -------------------------------------------------------- This guy's the big deal manager and the first person I dealt with. I discussed what I wanted to do and asked if it was even possible with my setup. He helped me create a reality from my vague descriptions. Exceedingly nice to deal with and one of the most genuine and empathetic people I've recently come to be acquainted with, as I've seen through interactions with me and the occasional even more difficult customer. -------------------------------------------------------- ANDREW -------------------------------------------------------- Andrew reminds me so much of my best friend's younger brother, which is a compliment in the highest regard. He's helped to explain many things to me and has even advised me away from spending money in certain places both in-store and online that he thinks I would ultimately not be satisfied even though it would bring money in to 4WP (e.g. rock lights). I trust his recommendation as a result and have bought some latest and greatest items most wouldn't have known were about to come out and thus would've settled. -------------------------------------------------------- JOE -------------------------------------------------------- Joe is smart.... like, really smart. These guys are all so passionate about off-road vehicles that you'd think that's all there was to them. But I got to speak German with him, we shared recommendations for some of our favorite but lesser-known meals/restaurants in Austin. He's a quick-witted, honest-hearted manager that I look forward to interacting with. -------------------------------------------------------- OSCAR -------------------------------------------------------- Oscar is a man of conviction and sincerity. I only first chatted with him when my two-day install was going later into the evening. I've since spoken to him many more times but have full trust in him professionally and personally. -------------------------------------------------------- EVERYTHING ELSE -------------------------------------------------------- I don't know or recall the names of the other people to thank, as often they've been behind the scenes in the install bay. But they've worked long and hard into the evenings for me on a two-day install that might should've taken three days, but they knew how excited I was to have my ride back. -------------------------------------------------------- VENDING MACHINE -------------------------------------------------------- The most hippy-dippy out of stock overpriced hunk of metal I've witnessed. It's actually impressive how bad it is. You want Coke or Pepsi or Dr Pepper? Nope, you'll have to settle for "Cosmic Stardust" whatever that tastes like. Worst vending machine in all of Austin, "Come and see!"

By the way - in the coffee shop barista was tight on, made me a bone dry cappuccino just right. One negative comment - sales people promise you the world, but when a sales manager comes in, you quickly realize that you just wasted an hour of your time listening to unrealistic bullshit. Never understood that - do they really think I will come back after an experience like that? All-n-all I would recommend the service department, it is definitely an improvement. Buying or selling a vehicle should be straightforward and honest, and unfortunately that wasn't my experience here. I would recommend getting every offer in writing before making any decisions.
