Terrible experience...simple ranch hand bumper/grill guard install on a common F-150 gone terribly wrong. They didn't have any clue about the active air damper, so they removed it causing check engine light to come on. They cut wires causing sensor/camera/calibration issues and then blamed "someone else before us", even though the cut wires were never brought to our attention by them. After multiple trips and hours back and forth to them, they just reinstalled the factory bumper (with bolts missing) and left us with calibration issues that we had to pay to get fixed ourselves, after they refused to accept responsibility. Ask for Daniel he was very helpful in getting me setup and the pricing was very affordable compared to other RV trailer shops near ATX. I took my RV trailer here to get a Demco EZ Latch trailer coupler mount installed unfortunately it wasn't the right part for my setup, but they were able to fix the underlying issue with the bent coupler which caused me issues locking on the coupler to the 2" ball! WeatherTech gave me this business as a quicker option to get a custom sunshade. I called and placed the order with Manager Kevin. Gave him my Credit card for payment. Nearly 3 weeks later when I hadn't heard from them, I called and it was there. The person who answered said they called and left a message on my phone, but I had no messages nor missed calls from them. I get there only to be told there is a balance. I was surprised because I gave him my card for payment when I ordered it. Well it was a 38.00 shipping charge that I was never told about. This shade costs $55.00. He charges me 70% of the value of my item in shipping without telling me that was going to be the case. It came FedEx ground. I can't believe how detailed the Line-X install was for my Ram 3500 long bed. The application is consistent across the bed and all the way to the clean edges they made. This looks so much better than factory. I feel bad covering it with a tonneau cover. It is amazing work for a more than fair price. That was another pleasant surprise. Avoid this place at all costs. Based on my experience, you will get totally ripped off. ***UPDATE*** I have recently discovered this company appears to be using fraudulent business filings with the state and county, presumably to obscure who the actual owner is. This won't mean anything to most people, but it's worth including for those who get it... Their BPP filings are in the name of the previous owner, with an address they haven't been at in five years... The whole thing is super sketchy to me. Buyer beware. ***ORIGINAL*** They've tried the excuse about being shorthanded, but that's not what this is. This seems like really dumb, really dishonest, people latching onto the latest, publicly acceptable, excuse. I can imagine these people milking 9/11 for years to explain why they suck. I ordered a camper cover that changed delivery dates three times. That's ARE's fault not TT&T's, but everything else is. I also ordered window shades, rain guards, and rear floor mat, which I paid for already. After the third delivery date change on the camper, I requested a refund and had to wait a day or two for the owner to call me and try to talk me out of it. That's a straight up shady business practice that you see in boiler room operations. They're getting the honcho to call you, so you're supposed to be impressed and defer to their status to intimidate you into backing off. I demanded a refund on the camper shell and verified that everything else was in and that I'd be driving to pick them up... I moved to Arizona while waiting for all this, because it's gone on for months. I'm ready to start the drive today, and I'm so glad I called ahead. My entire order has been lost, looks like part was cancelled and they have zero record of the rain guards, and nothing I ordered is actually there now. That would be just annoying, but I paid for all this and haven't received a refund. I haven't even received the refund from my camper shell (a week later), and nobody knows what's going on, and can't do anything without the owner who wasn't in today. I got the impression he was too hungover to show up. Apparently, nobody even knows how to get ahold of their boss or how to function without him. This place is ridiculous, the employees are some of the dumbest I've ever come across, and their entire business model seems based on just stealing money. I think it's a situation where times got tough and, rather than the owner taking a paycut, they're just keeping money from orders without actually ordering everything. After a few months, I suppose they think I'll have forgotten about thousands of dollars - and they can keep it. The employees seem to handle their jobs more like inconveniences, and get frustrated when you ask them to actually work. I don't know if they're spending all their time getting high in the back, but it certainly feels that way because every employee can't wait to scuttle back to the garage before someone sees them at the front desk. Everything I've had to do with them involved waiting on people to stop screwing around, whether it's in their showroom, waiting for an employee to run out of excuses for not helping you, or calls that never get returned. Nobody wants to help you, so they get put out when you pin them down and ask them to do the bare minimum. read more

I am so sad to say I spent over $700.00 for a 3 year old Cub Cadet riding lawn mower repair and I STILL cannot mow with it. My Line-X bed liner looks great, and I will definitely return when I need additional accessories installed on my truck. Prior to spraying the liner, they removed the multiple tie downs and lights that are common in many new trucks, and reinstalled them after the Line-X cured. They were friendly, prompt, and competitively priced. They also carry Weathertech floor mats which are a must-have in your car, truck or SUV. The showroom has a great setup to look at bed covers (folding, rolling, etc.), grille guards, hitches, roof racks, and other accessories. I have had two trucks outfitted here with blue / amber lights (front and back), traffic control bars and ARE LS II bed covers. They do great work but I did have to have the front lights on one truck redone as they used screws into a plastic grill instead of bolts, but they changed them out with no hassle. I deducted one star for leaving metal and plastic shavings inside the vehicle where they have to cut or drill for mounting switches or control boxes. Small details such as cleaning up after your work is vital for customer satisfaction. These shavings were on the floor board and in the seats. I also deducted one star for communication. I had to call to check on the vehicles several times as well as checking on when the traffic control bar and bed covers would come in. This could be perhaps to being so busy, but regular updates on work trucks is very important. The owners Rick and his brother are very knowledgeable and professional as is Brandon in sales. They have great pricing. If you receive a quote from another competitor, bring it here and I would almost bet you that they will beat it. We have used TT&T for other company vehicle outfittings as well, but I had no dealings with those. This is their new location which is much easier to get to and they have lots more room. So if you need your vehicle outfitted with lights, bed covers, camper shells, tow bars, hitches or other hardware, Texas Truck & Trailer should be your choice. read more

In June I had Nerf bars (running boards) installed and then went on a 2 month trip. Upon my return I noticed on the passenger side the running board brackets were crooked and the board wasn't level. I went to the South Austin location and between Hector and Diego they not only fixed the passenger side but the drivers side that they noticed was installed crooked. The passenger side that had bent brackets was likely due to something that happened on my trip; Diego did a great job straightening and making to look great. I wanted to pay for the time and effort spent on the bent brackets but Hector said it was fine; he said they don't nickel and dime customers. The initial impression when you walk into this store is NOT good but having read the positive reviews I went ahead with the installation of a Roll-n-Lock and with a Line-X spay-on bedliner application. I had to wait almost a week to get an an appointment, but it was worth it. These guys are real pro's. After a couple of weeks I noticed the Roll-n-lock would occasionally open when I went over a bumpy road - took the truck back and they quickly spotted a small mis-alignment on the original install. They immediately took it into the shop and fixed the issue within 20 minutes - they couldn't have been more apologetic for their initial mistake and for causing me the inconvenience. Only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is because they really need to improve their facility/showroom and waiting area ... I hear they may be moving to a new location soon. I have to give a *huge* shout out to Texas Truck and Trailer. I rolled into their shop just before closing time on a Thursday with a damaged bumper that I wanted replaced with a more heavy duty model. The man at the counter showed me several types and had the one I picked shipped to his shop next day express. Then, even though they were totally booked he told me if I would leave it he would do his best to work it in the next day. I was pleasantly surprised when I found out that they were able to pull it off that fast. As if that weren't enough, when I came by the following day right at closing time to pick it up he told me that I had a missing fog light, but the truth is I forgot to tell him that I had taken it off because it had come off it's mount at was in the rear seat. The installer, even after a full day of work very happily volunteered to stay around after hours and put the fog light on. Bottom line... total bumper replacement with a much better one for a price tag at about half of what a body shop would have charged to repair/replace the damaged one and in approximately 24 hours from when I first pulled into their shop I was driving away a very satisfied customer. TOTALLY AWESOME!!!! If you ever need a tool box, truck bed liner, roll top cover, heavy duty bumper, or other truck accessory, I can't recommend these guys highly enough. read more
