Worst Chinese food experience ever. All around. Food is terrible, service is even worse. We ordered the orange chicken, crab rangoons, and an appetizer combo w spareribs, chicken wings, and an egg roll. Orange chicken was raw. Chicken wings were soggy, spareribs had no meat and were coated in wax paper, the crab rangoons leaked a cloudy liquid from their uncooked middle. Upon complaining the manager was rude, defensive, and beyond unhelpful. It was such a bad experience that we have already reported them to the MA restaurant association. Avoid this place. Unless you are getting raw sushi, I bet they are really good at making things that don't need to be cooked. read more

All I have to say is that I went in for two sushi rolls, an Ebi and Yellowtail. The Ebi was crunchy in the middle, still frozen. The yellowtail which should be a mild fish was very strong and overpowering, most likely because it was old. I told the manager that this sushi was frozen, not fresh. He asked his sushi maker if that was true, the guy said yes, then they took the cost of the rolls off my bill. I appreciate them comping their subpar food but the fact that they are selling frozen sushi is unacceptable. I also think their chinese food is terrible, never had anything there worth going back for. Save your money. read more

Quan's is a notch or two above standard Chinese food in the area. More than your typical Americanized Chinese, but not quite PF Chang's (although probably a bit more affordable). The restaurant itself is quite nice, the food is obviously fresh, and really well done. The secret, to me, about Quan's is their delivery. It is always as hot and fresh as when you eat at the restaurant. They're generous with their portions, and somehow it almost tastes better at home. I LOVE their D7combo. It's enough food for under $15 (delivered) for my wife and I. I'm a huge Quan's fan and I think it is probably the best Chinese in the area. read more

I have been a fan of Quan's since the day they opened about ten years ago. I have eaten in, and ordered take-out and can honestly say I have not been disappointed. Quan's has a large variety of Asian food on their menu, it's always fresh tasting, and the portions are generous enough to share. The dining room is elegant, the service prompt and efficient, and servers are friendly. Quan's is one of the few Chinese restaurants where after eating, you don't experience a gut-bomb or food coma afterward. I'm guessing its the quality of ingredients. After dealing with Quan's Kitchen for years I have come to expect top food and top service. Surprisingly tonight I tried to make a food order for New Years Eve. After speaking to a male on the telephone I was advised that the meal would cost nearly fifty dollars. I checked the menu and added the items up and it cost nearly thirty dollars. I called the restaurant back and was advised that the reason that our usual order cost twenty dollars more was because they had different prices for the holiday, can you say price gouging. This is THE best Chinese food restaurant and every dish is high quality with fresh and always hot food. It really is amazing what a difference fresh ingredients and expertly prepared food makes to a meal. If you live in the area and are looking for a Chinese-food fix then Quan's is your place. General Gau's chicken, the lo mein, and any of the vegetable dishes are highly recommended. The portions are large and the food is full of flavor, yet is not too spicy or salty. If you're in the mood to dine-in then the restaurant is a large step up from what you would normally expect from a Chinese restaurant. It is clean, well decorated, and the service is fast. Minor complaint, you cannot order any combination dish when you dine-in. Not uncommon for Chinese food restaurants, but it means that if there is just two of you dining then you are either are limited in the variety you can order or you end-up with a large amount of food leftover. This unfortunately costs more but gives you meals for the next two days. Not necessary a bad thing. 5 out of 5 stars. The best place for Chinese food. read more

Went for the first time after hearing recommendations. The restaurant is very nice inside. The service was good but very very rushed. I think we were asked four times if we were ready to order and asked the same number of times if we were ready to pay the bill. I found some items great like love the eggrolls and chicken fingers but didn't care for the spare ribs or beef teriyaki. Sautéed green beans were great, chicken chow mein tasted funny. We found it pricey. Probably more then any other Chinese restaurant we've been to. There wasn't pork fried rice on the menu forcing us to order house fried rice which was $10. Maybe we missed it on the menu but maybe that was purposeful on the part of the restaurant so that we would order the more expensive item. It cost us $55 for a Pupu platter for two, string beans, chicken chow mein and fried rice. No alcohol. We won't return. read more

...we have eaten at quans for take out in the past...a bit pricy but still none the less good food....tonight we decided to dine in....not the best idea...we walked in and were not greeted with a hello and a smiling face...instead we got "pick up " as in if we were there to pick up an order...i smiled and said no two for dine in...still a very meek expression...we were seated and a few minutes later our waiter came over...no hello no smile...he slammed the silver wear down on a table next to is then proceeded to give us our silverwear...i let that slide too...the waiter walks away...about 5 or so minutes later...he comes back...and just stands there...my husband tells him what he wants to drink....it sounded good so I asked the waiter what was in the drink...he doesn't respond...so I had to ask my husband...he was unsure....he said it just sounded good...so I asked if the daquires were able to be made with alochol...the waiter flips the page on the drink menu and points to a section that said margaritas....daquri and margaritas are two totally different things...by this time the waiter could tell I was frustrated so just asked what flavor daquri...i told him bananna...he closed the drink menu rather hard snatched it off the table and walked away...(still being rude) so about ten minutes go by...still no drinks...as we had also ordered a water and a sprite as well....we were looking over the menu and noticed things were a bit on the pricy side....we understand this is due to fantom gourmet having gone there before etc...we were still ok with that....but here we are still waiting for our rude waiter to bring our drinks...so we decided that...after the not so pleasant greeting at the door...the rude waiter and the lengthy time just to get our drinks that we would leave....now mind you...we did not run out of the restraunt...the drinks did not make it to the table before we left and we never placed a food order....but we decided to go some where else...but my husband had forgot his wallet on the table...so as we were dining some where else...when he went to pay he noticed he did not have his wallet.so after looking in the car he called quans and asks if a wallet was found...she asks what color and what's inside...puts my husband on hold comes back and says no sorry...takes his number and says if the people that clean at night find it we will call you...well I decided to call back shortly after he did because he looked in the car again and still no luck...i call back and at first the woman who answered is ok...but she proceeds to tell me no...its not there she looked etc...then she told us she didn't know what customers we were...so again I explains and she suddenly remembered who we were...i asked if she asked the waiter if he saw the wallet she said yes...but that doesn't make sense because she had just told me he has left...but any who...i continue to become upset...because at this point we know the wallet was left there...and of course there is the chance someone took it...but it was close to closing time when we were there...and there were maybe three tables sat where we were...needless to say the woman proceeds to tell me ( after I told her I believe the waiter found the wallet and did not say anything etc...because he was upset we left...) that there are cameras here. .And she will ask her manager to watch them...i said yes please do so...because if someone else took it...the camera will tell who..mand if your employee took it...we will also know that too...she puts me on hold.mmand about two minutes later comes back and says...yes we have your husband's wallet...SO NOW YOU DO HAVE IT THERE? What ever...we go there to get it...we walk in to the manager and the woman who answered the phone...the manager is holding my husband's wallet...he is not pleasant for the least...and proceeds to hold my husband's wallet in his hand waving it in the air saying I want to know why your in such a rush to leave...etc...so I tell him...he is still rude...never once does he say sorry for my employee telling you we didn't have it...there was a mis communication etc...instead he is not yelling but has a raised voice trying to tell us about our selves.mmand how this waiter in ten years has never had a complaint...well he did today...and stuff happens..but the way the situation was handled...was extremely inappropriate...WE WILL NOT BE BACK...AND WE WILL BE TELLING OUR FRIENDS AND FAMILY TO STAY AWAY TOO. Good food but it's over priced and the dine in service was horrible...and from a customer stand point...had I not called back and demanded( and I should not have had to demand anything) but demanded to get to the bottom of it I honestly believe my husband's wallet would not have been returned...and no one would have called to tell him it was there...because they were clearly angry we left...but we were unhappy...and why do we want to talk to the manager about a bad server at the very beginning of our experience? Me and my husband have eaten here a few times. The first time, the food was really good! The second time the food was horrible! The spring rolls tasted completely different the second time around! I guess it just depends on who's making it that day. Overall the food is just okay, I don't think I would recommend them as there is a really great chinese place not too far, Peking Garden. read more

Agree with others the food is fresh and high quality. Service is attentive and professional. Dining room has a pleasing decor and the bar has an awesome etched glass panorama of Shanghai and a wood paneled ceiling, real nice! I usually get sushi and find it's top notch. This rating relates entirely to the service received during a phone call. I walked in and ordered then waited to take it home. When I got home there were no condiments, sauces, chopsticks, etc. when I called to inform them I was told they could send a driver and it would take 20 - 25 minutes. I told them by the time it got there the food would be cold - the there was no effort to expedite the situation or make it right. I realize mistakes happen but there was there was a reluctance to acknowledge or remediate. An editorial comment - the $$ rating is generous. read more

I eat at Quan's often and I have never been disappointed with there food. The Sushi is very good and you can feel god about eating sushi at Quan's. The owner holds very high standards and it shows. me and my fiance started going here a little over two years ago and we have never stopped going at least once a week on satuday nights great atmosphere and the food is to die for we recommend for your consideration for lunch/spicey tuna maki and L20 combo and we share it along with a great drink from the bar and dinner we suggest szechuan imperial along with spicey string beans with pork and crabrangoons or egg rolls that are to die for and always ask for chili sauce on the side its great we recently moved to fl and the chineese food down here is horrible and we miss it we are coming to visit in october and it is the first place to visit for us to eat enjoy you will love your dining experience and ask for may she is a great waitress read more

My family and I have been eating at Quans for several years. This is hands down the best sushi you will ever eat... ever! The Chinese food is also superb, the best beef teriyaki in the world. They always use fresh ingredients. The place has been around for a while and I've never seen the place dirty, no greasy children's fingerprints, the restrooms are always very clean. You can see they take pride in their restaurant. I've tried other sushi and Chinese restaurants and I just won't do it anymore. I only eat this type of cuisine at Quans. This used to be favorite Chinese restaurant for dine in or take out. Over the last year or so though things have definitely changed. The food is gross and cold when you have it delivered. Also, it takes over an hour to receive 2 combo dinners? Really? My friend only lives 2 miles away! The chicken fingers are soggy and the food has gotten flavorless. Is disgusting. Also, when you eat in the waitstaff can barely understand your order and inevitable mess it up. If you order appetizers, they are supposed to come BEFORE a meal not with! Or come out and then 2 minutes later your meal comes. I don't understand the rudeness of the owner lately either. Definitely will not go back again. You better watch out Quans, Shogun has been much busier than you lately, and their Pad Thai is far superior to yours. read more

We have been going to this restaurant for over 5 years primarily because they always understood my husbands shellfish allergy. Today we went with our daughter and we had a horrible experience. Our waitress(never gave us her name) was nice but inattentive and took us three explanations to order plain noodles with no sauces for our daughter. We received the food and her noodles were brown from the pan and smelled heavily of garlic. We ask for a side portion of the noodles and received a dinner portion. We were told there was only one size for the order. We ordered the chefs special roll and the tempura was gooey. We spoke to the manager who argued with us about the texture. The overall quality of the food was poor the maki rolls kept falling apart. So disappointing as this was one of our favorite places to go. We won't be going for a long time. read more
