We were not their customers, but when they found our precious belongings abandoned on the side of the highway with the moving truck they were there to tow, Hit tracked us down and did everything in his power to make it right. He and the crew spent 18 hours picking up every piece, things that anyone else would have thrown in the dumpster or left to rot (the moving company had done just that). Because of this selfless effort on their part, my husband and I were reunited with heirlooms from our grandparents, important papers, memories, things that would have broken our hearts to lose permanently. He gave me a fake shop location and dodged all accountability, telling me that he didn't want to mess up the wheels weight with metal filler... really... He didn't fix the flat; what he did was put on the spare ("the donut") for me and made sure it was inflated and ready to go. He also checked the pressure in my other three tires. I didn't know what to expect when he arrived. I forgot to ask what kind of service I was getting. He's not a tow truck or a mobile tire repair service. He has a van with equipment inside to get you on the road again. In my case this was to change the tire to the spare. He also jump starts vehicles, unlocks them, and brings gas if you've run out. If you don't have a functional spare, I would say this is not the service you need if you get a flat. After he changed the tire and aired the others, he made sure I knew where the closet tire shop was and told me what time they closed. He also gave me some tips and warnings about driving on the donut. He helped make a bad day a little brighter.
