Nonexistent CUSTOMER SERVICE. I placed an order on 7.17.2024 around 11 p.m. When I paid, I received a message from QUANTUM offering free shipping on an additional order if I attach a new order to an old one. I saw the shipping price anyway, but the attached message said (paraphrasing): "Do not worry. It just looks that way. You will be credited later". I did not get credit, and I called to have this charge removed (that was around 2 pm of 7.18.2024), and was told: "offer was only on either "shipping only" or on "direct only"... I do not remember, but some excuse. They were okay with canceling this additional order. As I was closing my order receipt, I noticed a mistake on my first order. That was on me- I will not lie. So I call again - 5 minutes after the first call. They tell me that they can't change the design. So this is the first issue on order #1: I was able to cancel order #2, which I placed with order #1 just 5 minutes before, and you were able to cancel it then, but now you can't make changes because it's ready to be shipped?! That happened in 5 minutes?! So I asked for shipping to me vs list that I purchased (it was direct mail). I would add labels with "price change"- that was my mistake. I told them: "I think you probably would be making money because I paid for shipping to 100 individuals, and only one shipping would be needed. The whole time, I just heard: "NOTHING CAN BE DONE." So... I was taken advantage of on the first issue (order # 2). The second time (as I said), it is not that they did something shady- it was my mistake. I needed to get some business cards printed up overnight, but I didn't want to pay $80 to have Kinkos do it. I found Quantum Digital and found that I could design a business card online (their system is really easy to use and lets you see exactly how the card will look) and they could have it ready the next business day. They ship anywhere for a low price, but if you're in Austin you can pick it up yourself for free. I am very impressed with the quality of the cards, especially the card stock, and the price. The only thing that would make it better is if they had more designs to choose from. Overall, I was really impressed, especially because it was so fast and inexpensive. I've ordered posters and business cards from Quantum many times over the past four years and always been happy. The work is done right, they notify you quickly if there are any snags, the prices seem competitive, and living in Austin I could pick up my order if I need it right away. But this week they rubbed me wrong. On Wednesday June 30th, I specifically ordered an amount of business cards that would entitle me free next day shipping so I wouldn't have to drive up to get them and I'd have them for the weekend. It didn't come the next day. I then received a phone call on Friday saying they forgot to put my address on the package and if it doesn't get delivered that day, to give them a call back. Unfortunately a holiday weekend followed in which I assumed they would be closed. So I finally called back today (a week from the date I ordered) to follow up. She said she would get a new package out to me and I'd receive it tomorrow, which I appreciated, but no apology or offer for a future discount for their mistake. I commented on how I don't understand how they didn't put an address on the package when all my info is in their system and we've never had trouble before. She denied saying that was the problem and blamed it on UPS not scanning the package. But meanwhile, the original one was never delivered and a week later I don't have business cards. read more

"Gwen" who is on the production team was a HUGE help in my latest project. She was able to find some formatting errors that would have hurt the image of my company newsletter. I was soooo nervous about getting digital postcards made for an art event because previously I have relied mostly on offset (cmyk) and was worried that the quality would not be as good. I checked their prices and found that their costs and turn around times were the best in austin, plus you can just pick up your order at their warehouse if you are in austin and are have no patience, like myself. I needed to get 300 postcards rushed and printed in 5 hours from the time that I placed my order, which they did for an additional rush fee of 25% of the cost of the order-which still was a good $30 bucks under the prices of their competitors and a higher quantity. I was so pleasantly surprised when I got my postcards. The color quality and finish was AMAZING for a digital print and the text on the back looked great too...not all bubbly and faded looking like some digital printers. It looked almost just like offset and very professional. I will definitely be establishing a long relationship with quantum digital. They are humble and their customer service is 1 on 1, they were talking to me about my order without me even having to tell them my order number. ***Update... Quantum Digital are working with me to figure out the problem and I have agreed to place another order and check the quality. If I am satisfied with the next order I will edit or append this review at that time. **** I'm a REALTOR and I do post card farming to several neighborhoods on a regular basis. I have always used Vista Print and I have never had any issues other than they can't turn the orders around very fast. I decided to try QuantumDigital. I placed 3 orders on three different days in the same week. I thought all was fine until I received the test mailings (cards addressed to me from each of the orders). All three orders had horrible smudges in the ink making them unreadable! If this is what the test cards looked like there is no telling what condition the cards that went to my farms were like. I emailed to complain and they said it was the post office's fault because of the rollers they use. Talking about dirty rollers leaving behind ink smudges on the cards. It was quite obvious that were was not additional ink on top of the cards, the actual ink on the cards from the printing process was smudged. I think it is because they don't let them dry long enough before they run them through their stacking machines. They suggested spending more money on UV protection but didn't guarantee that would fix the issue. They are basically saying that their product sucks and that you should spend a little more money so their product won't suck... but they can't guarantee the extra money will be worth it. I spent almost $650 on the three orders and they have made no offer to compensate. I don't know about other businesses but I can't afford to have my marketing material look like a child dropped it in a mud puddle. Did I say that all three test cards from three different orders had smudged surfaces? Never again! read more

I first encountered QuantumDigital when we chose them for on-demand printing and email support for our national chain of franchises. The service was always unbeatable. Now that I've started my own small business, I use them for all my own sales collateral. I produce 8pg booklets from pdf's I make using PowerPoint, believe it or not, and the printing looks as professional as it gets. I can customize and personalize short runs of the booklets for the businesses I'm targeting and have them at my door next day. Per Lynn, company rep, it appears there's not anything that can be done because my account is considered an old account and I guess being with them since before 2000 doesn't mean anything to the company and because I haven't ordered anything since 2011. I was not working as a full-time realtor from 2011 until present. Recently I opened up a company and thought I would go back to the company that I originally work with back in the 1990s before my account was switched to Weichert in 2000; when I did use quantum I was a very loyal customer and spent a good amount of money because the quality was excellent. It saddens me to know that a long time customer would not have been treated a little bit better and maybe given some extra service to grandfather them in to an account in lieu of starting all over again per Lynn's request. read more
