I have been looking far and wide for someone to replace the battery on my Invicta watch. The last time I took it to Christie's and it was quite a bit more and had to wait several days. Most places wanted outrageous prices. Batteries plus in San Marcos scratched the back without telling me only to find the didn't have the right screwdriver. I was in and out in less than five minutes for less than $5! It's a old fashioned mom and pop shop and they care about their customers. I'll be back the next time I need a battery replacement. I would've never thought to come here, but young lady at JC Penny jewelry (back was on too tight) said that is where she refers folks that she can't help. read more

I come here at least once a month and the owners (husband and wife) are a very sweet couple. I've been coming here since college, about 15 years, now. The wife always helps me find the cheapest values or informs me when they will get a specific brand or product in stock. She knows where everything is in the store regardless how packed it is. I love the familiarity of the store owners and being able to just run in and out. It is a bit crowded in the store but it reminds of the stores in New York. read more

I really appreciate this business. I brought a watch in for a new battery. They told me it did not need one. Then promptly fixed the watch so that it did not need a new battery handed it back. I had to say somethin'.. It's a trip to read someone's review that sounds crazy and then got other people sayin' it's helpful.. that's sad.. cause' I know those crazy beauty supplys, like in LA.. Los Angeles... and sadly alot of them be like that. But I been in this one many many times and actually remarked to the store owner how I appreciated how he treats his customers.. cause I have listened while I browse.. And he doesn't treat people the way I and others have been treated so many times. And sometimes I'm in there in a big black coat(cause it was my only one), and they never trip with me. I know you gotta weigh with yelp reviews, cause it seems like people always say the opposite things and you're like who do I believe.. but I'm just tellin' you my experience and my family's and believe what you want. I personally will drive with my fam to this one cause it's wayyy better selection and price than Sally's near us. Oh and they have those fun cheap dollar earrings on the glass wall by the front door... and just remembered.. one time I was looking for a synthetic braid for someone's hair and they have all the fun colors and they even had glow in the dark synthetic and the owner took me to the door and showed me how this one actually changes color when it hits the light... it was so cool, I had to get it.. it was like 3.99 and fun to just put in kids hair. read more

one of those shops that try to sell everything and anything the shelves are packed with all sorts of items from wigs to watches ,hard to get around the cluttered store especially if there are lots of other customers hunting around *which there usually is* even with the inconvenience of pushing past row after row of boxed goods its worth it to get batteries changed on my watches or crystal replaced as the case may be. try getting this small service done in a jewelry or department store you have to send it away wait for a lifetime for its return and pay a premium for the privilege, in here tis done in a matter of minutes* why you wait * and at a reasonable price . they get top marks for service , price & satisfaction , but lose one for cluttered over stocked store . read more

We came in to look for extensions for my daughter. The people that work here are extremely helpful. There were people lined up for help but the lady treated us like we were the only ones in the store. The prices are reasonable and my daughters new hair is amazing. They also had anything else you could think of; eyelashes, makeup, hair products, jewelry and hair bows to top it off!!! read more

This place deserves zero stars. What happened to me and my friends at this store is completely unacceptable and to be honest really saddens me. My two friends had never been here before so they were looking around, obviously something you do at a store you've never been to. The store is very small and crowded, the walls and displays are filled with varying cheap makeup and hair products. Sort of like a hole in the wall dollar tree. There was an Asian man standing behind the counter eyeing us the whole time we were there. As I was making my way from the back of the store to the front getting ready to purchase the items I had in hand, the Asian man comes out of nowhere and points his finger at my friend yelling at her saying she stole a lipstick and that he saw it on camera. That one moment she had the lipstick and the next she didn't. We were all appalled that this man was accusing her of stealing and yelling at her. She says she didn't and that she had set down the lipstick. He screams back "Well where is it?" To which she then walks over calmly to where she had set it down and takes it back to the display, proving she did not infact steal anything. He then turns back to me and my other friend that was standing next to me and says "You know what just get out. You guys are acting suspicious walking around. Get out!" And proceeds to snatch the items we are holding out of our hands. At this point I am appalled and have no words to even say to this man. I have never been treated with such disrespect ever.
