Decent BBQ, while I've had far better, I've also had far worse and this place sits right in the middle of that... service was great and is a big part of the rating here. They were very accommodating and prompt with their service. The location was fitting, clean and presented well.

Ribs & brisket

Came here while staying in Jonesboro overnight traveling from southeast Texas to Chicago with my wife and uncle. We all had a taste for some BBQ & came here after checking out the reviews. I live in TX but am from Chicago which is the Mecca of Great American Food, including BBQ so I have a tendency to compare BBQ to some of the great spots in Chicago. The meat was petty decent. Brisket was relatively tender & moist, not quite fatty enough for my taste, pulled pork sandwich was really good but the ribs left some to be desired; BBQ sauce was a tad too sweet to me but otherwise, ok. Unfortunately. The sides is where they really came up short to me. The baked beans were horrid, probably some of the worse I ever had. Way too much molasses, tasted like cough syrup; I ended up chucking most of it. Potato salad wasn't quite the best either. Only side that was good was the pickles & red onion.

Went to Q in the Lou (BBQ event) in St Louis and saw the Que49 Smokehouse. They were serving fried chicken legs and thighs. They were DELICIOUS! Everyone in our group went back for seconds. The skin was crispy. The chicken was cooked perfectly- wasn't dry. They traveled to this event from Arkansas. They have a brick and motor there and offer catering. I wish I could have tried more that they have to offer! @stl.foodie

Fantastic BBq! Perfect balance on smoke and spice and sauses. I highly recommend this one- portions are nice size and does not leave you feeling cheated.

Clean and attention to detail. It shows in the quality of the food.

Good food, good service but an open area restaurant so not much ambiance -but it's the food that counts!

Thoroughly enjoyed their cranberry cayenne(?) wing sauce. Nothing to note on service here as it is serve yourself and counter service.

Today for lunch I was just feeling a very short drive to find a spot I've never hit up before. On a…read morewhim I just jumped on 555 and headed out west of Jonesboro to an ever growing area of Bono(Beau No not the singer). It seemed as though I had been hearing about a place on into town, so I wanted to explore the food scene in this little community a little more. As I was coming into town I noticed a little yellow unmarked food truck, not because there was a crowd really, but because there was a county cop and I didn't really want a ticket. A little further up the road I see this very sad site of a packed out Subway location like they were a delicacy or something. It was so sad to me in fact that I turned around in their parking lot to go back to that little yellow unmarked food truck just to give them some support since the locals seemed to want to feast on big chain Subway. HOLY SMOKES am I soooooo grateful I decided to turn back!!! This little joy bus was exactly what I've been looking for in this little corner of the state! As you can see in the pics, I went w/my usual first time visit order of the double bacon cheeseburger. Ordered it up and went to chill in the Bronco since the wind was so crazy today. After about 15 min I went back up to the window just to see if maybe I'd not heard my name called. This is where it got sideways. The customer before me had snagged my order. Completely not the fault of the sweet ladies hard at work, but the boss lady refused to let me pay and remade the order. It was ready in a flash and I opened it up to see one of the most beautiful DBCB I have ever seen! Again, it was so windy outside I couldn't enjoy it there, and I just knew I was gonna end up wearing this thing if I ate it in my ride. Short trip back to town to the house and to unwrap and dive in. The first bite sent chills down my spine! It was like I had struck gold!!!! My first thought was "I finally found it!!!" Then my next thought was about all those suckers who had to choke down a Subway sandwich when a stones throw away was the BEST BURGER in the Jonesboro area! Everything about this burger was exactly what I want it to be like. THICK hand made patties, fresh condiments, and the absolute best bacon ever put on a burger! The bacon alone made me want to drive back for a BLT, which might happen next week when I can get back over there. Before I walked away I tucked $20 in their tip jar, because I knew if it tasted as good as it looked I would lose sleep thinking I got that dream burger for free. They can mess up an order every time & I'll still wait in line to eat there again!!! Stop by and see those sweet ladies at Donya's Country Kitchen LLC (yellow food truck) in Bono & treat them like gold! They have officially taken over the #2 spot for burgers in Arkansas for me. That is some pretty high praise if you even know me a little.
