I visit TJ's often because it's close to my physical therapy and the food is always amazing. The workers are all very friendly, and they actually care that you are spending money with their company. The seating area is really nice with plenty of room and religious type music playing. Kids and Teenagers love trying to shoot their toothpicks into the ceiling from a straw. One of my favorite things is the Bang Bang Grilled Chicken and seasoned fries. You build the sandwich however you'd like it so I get Hurricane Sauce and pickles. From the amazing service to the incredible food; I can confidently rate this place a 10 out of 10. I was greeted as soon as I walked in by a gentleman with a great personality. Not only did he kindly answer all of my questions, but he also gave me some excellent recommendations. I don't remember his name, but he definitely deserves a raise. I ended up ordering a bacon double cheeseburger with fries. I also ordered a strawberry shake. When it comes to strawberry flavored stuff, I love it. However, I'm not a big fan of the texture of chunks of strawberries in anything. I explained that to the guy who took my order and he said he would make me a strawberry shake with no chunks. He did just that and it was incredible. It had the perfect texture and consistency and he even told me they don't use any dyes or food coloring, which is a huge plus to me. On to the burger and fries. The burger itself was perfectly cooked. The patties were well seasoned and the buns were nice and toasted. All the veggies seemed crisp and fresh as well. The fries were a traditional cut, but they were still delicious. What made them even better and the burger too, was Tracy's (the manager) special sauce that he'll be releasing soon. It was heavenly. May like an increase in sweetness in the Cajun shake for the fries; still very tasty. Great pricing, a staple establishment. Lettuce was rough chopped, which fell everywhere, but there was enough to ensure some lettuce in every bite. The fries came with a side of this white sauce (I don't remember what it was called) but I dipped everything in it. It reminded me of in-n-outs spread? And the sweet tea is always sweet!!! My personal favorite go to order is the spicy chicken sandwich with everything on it, seasoned fries, their HOMEMADE ranch, and a large sweet tea!!! And the customer service is great!!! Someone is always cleaning, TJ is always there, and they are always actively working!! This was about the 4th time my husband and I stopped in this location. The first time was really good the second not as good the third well let's just say ummm NO!! Today better than last time bust still not good. We both got the double cheese combo... we were in line all alone and went to sit down... people who come in after us, seem to get their food before us. They weren't soft and fluffy on the inside at all.. even the sprite I ordered was not good... ok now on to the Mac and cheese... I am sorry guys I wanted to like it ... when it was brought to the table I had high hopes for it. It look cheesy and creamy... I took a small bite cause it was very hot. ( to me it seemed to have been microwaved ) there was no seasoning in this at all, you could tell that there was not even any salt added to the water when the noodles were cooked. The cheese sauce wasn't good ... I had to add salt just to give it flavor! The noodles were overcooked and that is a lot coming from me I like my noodles cooked soft. So over all guys... not good! If given the choice choose five guys or really treat yourself to a good burger and grab one from Gee street kitchen. I hate giving a bad review because folks need to make a living... but this is just my opinion.. I told my wife, "I want a greasy burger!" Man, did TJ's deliver! I ordered the number one, my wife got the grilled chicken sandwich, and both of my kids got chicken nuggets and a chocolate milkshake. My burger was a greasy, medium well cooked masterpiece. As usual I ordered my burger with everything. It was amazing. The fries were ordered with Cajun seasoning. They were really good, but they weren't as hot (heat hot) as I would've liked. My wife enjoyed her sandwich, but said it wasn't amazing. She really enjoyed the bun, but thought the chicken wasn't worth the price. More on that in a moment. My kid's nuggets were okay. They're battered and fried kinda like catfish. I tried them. They were just okay, but this is a burger joint. Not a chicken joint. Overall, TJ's was pretty good. However, I did think they were a little too expensive. Was it worth it? Maybe. The burger was amazing. But one of the selling points of a good burger joint (in my opinion) is affordability. Great local burger place in town that reminds me of a less industrial version of five guys. Build your own burger with optional extras. The burger was delicious and perfectly cooked, and made with perfectly proportioned amounts of ketchup and mayo (so don't worry about it coming out soggy if you order these on your burger!). The single burger is plenty big enough. Fries weren't great though, and they came out lukewarm, even though I had them prepared unseasoned, which meant they should have been prepared fresh. This is my one complaint. The dining area is spacious, good for groups, and the staff member in charge of keeping the tables clean was ON IT. This was pretty good. The burgers were big and juicy and so were the prices. I paid about $70 for my family to eat. I don't know if they were special enough for me to take the whole family for that price. You serve yourself your own drinks. They bring your food to the table.
