Chicken Fries

Ordered takeout. Decent "fun" Mexican food. I've had better, I've had worse. The veggie quesadilla was good. The elote with hot Cheetos was less than good, it tasted like spicy corn and mayo soup, definitely a pass. The fries would've been better if we ate them fresh out of the kitchen, they got soggy while transporting them home, but they were good.

Truly a little hole in the wall!! Regardless of owners not being Mexican they do have a concept of Mexican taste & the flavors. If your looking for something authentic simple & good come here! I had what most reviewers wrote the Birria Tacos, delicious, guacamole freshly made & the chips to my surprise they way I like them (thick & crunchy)! Definitely will be coming back!

The food was good. But the service and menu on their tv when you order really could use improvement. Two of the things I ordered were different prices than what was on the screen behind the lady when I was ordering. And then when I asked about it they were rude and said oh that's wrong price. So I opted out because it's was like $3ish or $4 dollars more than what they had posted. The ambiance was very plain but that didn't bother us at all. The other issue we had was they only have one high chair in the restaurant so it was hard having a toddler that wants to be on move. They never apologized for price change and instead brought me a paper to scan to see the correct prices because their menu also listed incorrect prices. The el pastor tacos I had were pretty good it's just unfortunate that the service didn't match the flavors of the food and the prices didn't match the actual prices of the food!

Stopped by tonight and we're not disappointed! Appetizers were great especially the Mexican corn and Guacamole and chips. Service was great and everything came out right away. Felt very accommodating with all of our requests. Easy parking and nice dining area. I recommend the traditional Asada tacos and to try their sauces. My wife loved the birria tacos. Nice family neighborhood spot.

When I say food with flavor.....Que Chido hit the spot! We had birria quesadilla, guacamole, and loaded nachos. Made to order so the food is fresh, hot and prepared with care!! Definitely will be back!

We were in the area and looked for a Mexican restaurant. We found "Que Chido" and was pleasantly surprised! We had tacos and delicious Chorizo Queso Fundido. Their Horchata is very yummy! I was surprised when a Mariachi singer started to sing. Very fun and yummy! Will definitely come back.

The food was great & the staff was nice. The birria tacos were some of the best tacos I have had outside of Mexico. The pepino loco appetizer was also spicy delicious. It was quiet on this Saturday afternoon. My only gripes that dropped it to 4 stars was it took a little long for our food despite how empty it was but on the flip side the chips and taco shells were freshly made. The restroom also could use a little TLC in terms of ceiling tiles, dusting and uniform lighting. Restrooms are usually a good indicator of overall restaurant cleanliness. Easy things to fix so I would definitely go back and recommend them if in the area.

We started with the chips and guacamole, I loved the chips they were thick and you could tell they were freshly made. The guacamole was also super delicious. My boyfriend ordered tacos, he ate them so fast and loved them all! I absolutely loved the fish taco, it was crispy and the sauce on top was delicious. The tostada had a little too much lettuce on it but besides that it was great! Perfect lowkey Mexican spot!!

Birria Tacos Order

I was searching for a good taco place and found this one online. I looked at the reviews on here and wanted to try. I called in and the young lady who answered was polite and took my order for pickup. I arrived and it was surprisingly not busy. I wish there was more to the aesthetics of the place but it has potential. I approached the counter and the young lady who took my order over the phone was there to hand me the order and check me out. She was as polite and helpful as she was over the phone. The food looked good and was exactly what I ordered and expected. There's a sauce bar and I grabbed some guac mild and red extra hot. I got three Birria tacos with cheese. The tacos were delicious. The guac mild is good and if you like hot sauce the red extra hot is great for you. I was stepping out my comfort zone with that sauce lol. Too hot for me. I'll definitely try more options next time.

A young Mexican recommended this place. Had to try it. Happy hour, starts at 3 you can get $5 margarita. They were tasty. Decent amount of alcohol, wasn't a fan of the tajin so I opted for sugar for no.2. It's decorated with bright colors and skulls. Cute and clean. Server was very attentive and aware. The food was seasoned well and was pretty good, but it was still missing something. $4 tacos hurt my feelings, but that's the going rate now days. I'm still on the hunt for authentic Mexican food, I'm talking a place that gives unlimited chips and salsa, with a bomb ass margarita. A place I can lose myself in the moment and own it. Que Chido will do in a pinch, nothing wrong with it, just not what I was looking for.

First time here. Nice place with a good menu. Checked my bill later. Ordered a steak burrito $12.95 7% County tax .91 * 3.5% City Tax .45 According to the City this tax doesn't exist! Total Tax 1.36 *City Tax (3.5%) added again .45 Total $14.76 A real disappointment !!! Food was good but no reason to go back.

WOW! Paquito's Mexican Restaurant in North Miami Beach is AWESOME. A couple of friends had sung…read moreit's praises and we decided to go and have dinner there last night. I wish I would have found out about them sooner because it's the freshest, yummiest Mexican food I have ever had in Miami. In the corner of an unassuming little strip on the south east side of Biscayne Blvd and 163rd Street you would likely miss it if you didnt know it was there. From the moment we walked in we were greeted and sat at our table by a attentive, super nice waitress. The restaurant was cozy, not too big not too small and quiet enough to chat comfortably. No long waits for drinks or food either. And the food... OMG so fresh and flavorful. I swear if I snuck into the kitchen I'd find a mom or grandma cooking the meals! My pals Juan and Jorge who'd been there plenty of times before were right when they said the food was great. We each got something different but everyone raved about their meals. We had the best guacamole with chicharones (pork belly not the dry bagged kind) was a very pleasant and tasty surprise. My friend Soni had a Taco Salad (see pic) I had the Burrito. The entrees were all made with the freshest ingredients and portions were plentiful. No one left hungry. LOL Full or not our table of five shared a Churro with Vanilla Ice Cream and Dulce de Leche, and a Fried Ice Cream. The prices were very reasonable for the amount and high quality of the food. I drove from Key Biscayne and would gladly do so again. If you're ever in the area do you and your tummy a favor and check out Paquito's. You won't be disappointed.

Very professional gentlemen with a great sound. I'm not sure if that little girl is part of their group and is always there but she CANNOT sing. If she is part of their group, they should fire her. Aside from the borderline screaming this girl was doing into my party's ear, she does not have manners. She grabbed my arm and pulled me while I was eating because she said she "wanted to dance" but I was trying to eat and ended up spilling my food on myself. She had an attitude if you don't cheer for her or applaud her. She came back after she finished singing and asked us for a tip when the actual mariachi band did not. SO SO SO RUDE!!! Absolutely never coming back. And neither is anyone in my family/party. Such a shame, the band sounded great without her. And the food was decent. Wish I had tried the dessert but I wanted to get far away from that child and her father who was videotaping us the entire time!! Do not come here unless you want to be harassed!!

We went here between January 27 & February 6/2026. La Potranca has five Florida locations, but this cantina does not feel like a chain. Authentic sabor Mexicano with an excellent friendly staff. Family friendly & handi-able accesible from the parking lot. This location gets full by 7pm but there is extended service & seating in the common covered courtyard. Plenty of parking in this strip mall location. Service is excellent, fast, & great choices of tacos & drinks. You can choose from 14 different meats/cuts for your tacos, including birria & al pastor. Bow to the taco! Also gringas, vampiros, & burritos. They have bowls (they're BIG) & brunch. p.s. try the churros with 3 dipping sauces. Drinks are extra special here. The clamato & beer cocktail is very unique. Served in a Tajin rimmed large mug, with lime & a tamarind wrapped straw. Excellante! Also a variety of margaritas served in whimsical glasses & their three house cervazas (beers) on draft. La Potranca pays homage to iconic singer & actor Vincente Fernandez "King of Ranchera". Check out the interesting connection with the staff or online. The staff here is excellent. Very helpful when navigating the menu. Very friendly. True professionals. Special shout out to Mauricio & Ralphael - you hombres make this place truly special. Mucho Gracias. We give La Potranca our highest recommendation. It's a small, fast, casual dining place, with table service. I started with the La Potranca cocktail. Our server said it was tequila, passion fruit, and coconut. I assume it was coconut milk or cream of coconut, because the drink had a very light creamy consistency. Honestly, I'm still thinking about this drink. My husband said it tasted strong which surprised me because it didn't to me, but halfway through, I was feeling it. I loved this drink so much. It also came in a funny torso shaped glass. For food, we ordered my daughter the cheese quesadilla, my husband the beef burrito, and I ordered the Vampiro - a fried tortilla with meat, cilantro, onions. My husband said his burrito was good but that it was too much cheese. It essentially tasted like a cheese burrito. Similarly, our daughter's cheese quesadilla was so THICK that we thought she mistakenly got chicken. Turns out it was an enormous amount of cheese, but I tasted it and it was also sooo flavorful. The Vampiro I ordered tasted so good. It was different from what I've usually had in Mexican restaurants but was sort of "lighter" in some ways even though the tortilla was fried. This has a ton of flavor too. I ordered two, and they were $4.50 each, so not bad. (The food came super, super fast). I forgot to mention we were given chips when we arrived. There was a caddy of 8 sauces to choose from, spicy and mild. I tried the very spiciest, Salsa Chile de Vincent's, and this did have some spice but not too much. The Salsa Asada was the second spiciest but not spicy for me. Salsa Chilango had another flavor in it that I couldn't quite narrow down but it was a little creamy and super flavorful. And the Salsa Asada had a Smokey flavor. Regardless, it was a great collection to choose from. We ordered the churros for dessert with dulce de leche to dip them in and also Nutella. These are probably the best churros we've had. They were super sugary and so delicious. The place is small but with a fun, pink, neon aesthetic. The bathroom was clean and beautiful. (Don't be deterred by the sign at the doorway saying no public restroom - that just means for non-patrons. This little restaurant was such a fun surprise and definitely somewhere I'll go again.
