Saturday dinner at 4:30pm. My friend and I were seated immediately. We ordered drinks and dove into the large menu! This is a good menu but it does not include my favorite Mexican dish, Ceviche. It includes everything else that you want to enjoy in a Mexican restaurant. I ordered a Steak Nexicana, Karen ordered a shrimp dish. We did not wait long for our order. My steak was good but the kitchen had not trimmed off the gristle on the steak. It was delicious but I don't like removing bites of food from my mouth during a meal. Wow! I'm from Texas, but I would be hard pressed to find a Tex Mex restaurant this goodbye k home. Had Carne Azada that was huge and drenched in a lovely tasty sauce. Also had a shrimp dish that was equally good. Beer was good and cold. Guacamole was fresh and tasty. Service was prompt and friendly. Definitely coming back....maybe tomorrow! read more

Food and service are always good here. I like their Salsa Picosa a lot. My favorite thing hat they have is the Pork Quesadilla on the appetizer menu. With four mini Quesadillas, half an avocado and Red and Salsa verde, it's a meal in itself. You can get it street style with cilantro and onions. So good. They have a full bar, easy street parking and a really varied menu. The only thing I can say negative about this place is that if you want to order to go from home, they only have a partial menu listed online with a couple of appetizers, menu items and kid's menu listings, it's really annoying. Decor is the normal for Mexican restaurants. Food is very reasonably priced and several Margarita options. We go here often. read more

I had to grab a bite to eat outside my normal area with my son. My experience has been dining outside the immediate metro area has sometimes been dodgy. I've experienced mediocre food, dirty environment, disgusting bathrooms, bad smells, tables lacking basic condiments, menus with limited and / or poor options. As a former service professional, these things are extremely important to me, and are the factors separate the great places from all the others. I probably sound like I didn't have high expectations of Que Pasa! Well, they didn't meet my expectations, but exceeded them greatly. The place smelled good upon entry. Bathroom and overall environment was clean and orderly. The interior finishes were good throughout. We were sat almost immediately and given menus. The staff was very friendly, attentive, and somewhat entertaining. When it came to the food, I ordered the Chile Colorado. It was AMAZING. That dish is one of my 'go to' dishes and I'm usually underwhelmed. I had it in the Southwest and always hope its as good, which it normally isn't. I'll admit, theirs was a little concerning at first glance. Definately a different recipe from what I've had in the past, but once I dug in, it was fantastic! The portion size was huge, so I ended up having the leftovers yesterday, which gave me room for dessert . I ordered the sopapillas. Again, I was concerned when it arrived.... presentation looked good, but wasn't what I was expecting and had before. (I used to be the kitchen coordinator for a popular Mexican restaurant and did a lot with appetizers and desserts). Again, my expectations were exceeded. It was delicious, and the presentation was great! My son, normally a teen of few words, was practically expressive when he was describing his meal and its enjoyment. He had one of their burritos and the churros for dessert. It was nice that we were both happy. All that said, it was a great experience, and the prices were good. So while this isn't my normal stomping grounds, I'm sure I'll have some Que Pasa! the next time I go to a family event here (and tell them I already ate ) The only things stopping me is the location and there's a pretty good sushi place in town also. read more

One of my favorite spots in town for tacos. Ask them for the spicy salsa since they don't typically offer it at first. It's what they make in the back kitchen for the workers when they eat. Also try their carnitas quesadillas but with corn tortillas. It's a hidden gem. read more

Also, get the salsa verde... it's tangy and fresh, perfection! I ordered La Jarocha, which is a bed of rice covered in combination fajitas and smothered in cheese dip. They didn't skimp either, it was SMOTHERED and sooo good. My husband ordered the Tacos Que Pasa, which came with one chicken, one fish, one steak, and one shrimp taco. He loved all of them. They took money out of our debit card claiming it was "declined" even though we showed them on our banking app that it came out of our bank account (and later on an actual bank statement), they made us pay cash and refused to return our money. World is stressing about social distancing and the owner of this establishment was half way in our car handing us our drinks(which were wrong multiple times) noticed him coughing and not covering up his face with food and drinks in his hand. I love this place. It is always clean and the service is excellent. I love Beef fajitas and chili pobalano My grand children love their arroz with pollo. They have a lunch menu that is reasonable in price and it always comes with soda. If you go after 4 or 5 they have happy hour specials. I love to order the half pitcher. The only item I have tried that I did not like was the taco salad. It was too "soupy". We have been there over 10 times. We think it is the best in the area read more

Union's newly opened Mexican restaurant! We've eaten both lunch and dinner here. It has tasty, reasonably-priced food and it's an attractive and clean restaurant, from front to back. Service is fast and friendly. We ate lunch here today, and were pleasantly surprised to see that soft drinks were included with the lunch entrees. During the day, you can usually find street parking within a block - an easy walk from the Courthouse square. Me and my family went to Que Pasa tonight for the first time since they opened. We got drinks and ordered an appetizer while we decided what to eat. When we were ready to order I requested to alter the order a little and our server was the most unprofessional and disrespectful server I have ever encountered in my life. If I'm not mistaken his name is Titos. And when I requested to speak with his manager he got plain hateful to me. I spoke with the manager or owner and while he apologized and offered to seat us elsewhere with a different server and even offered our meals at no cost I respectfully declined at that point. I was no longer comfortable knowing our food wouldn't be tampered with and just couldn't see myself eating a meal somewhere with such poor service. As I'm getting ready to leave the same rude server had the audacity to say bye go to Taco Bell. Well sir I did you one even better. I went to El Tapatia where I have been going for many years and always had outstanding food and customer service.
