We were on our way to a Broadway show in Hollywood and needed a late afternoon pick-me-up, so we decided to stop by Que Rico Cafecito in Ontario on the corner of Grove and 4th Street. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted. They have a great selection of coffee, breakfast items, and pastries. I ordered the Cocoa Puff Latte, and my friend got the Spanish Latte. Both were delicious! The balance between the espresso and milk was just right. My Cocoa Puff Latte wasn't overly sweet or overpowering, and the Spanish Latte was honestly one of the best we've had compared to other coffee shops we've tried. They've only been open for about a month and actually started as a home-based business. If there's anything you'd like adjusted with your drink, they're happy to customize it to your liking. If you're looking for a cozy local coffee shop with great drinks and genuinely kind people, definitely go check them out and show them some love! read more

This cafe is in their soft opening stage! I've been wanting to try this cafe since I've been seeing it all over social media. The cafe is very adorable. It used to a subway location, so I believe it's very spacious for being a cafe. There's not a lot of seating options. When my friend and I got there, there was no line and we ordered our drinks easily. My friend wanted to order a biscoff latte, but unfortunately they ran out of the supplies needed. After we ordered, our drinks took a while to come out. We waited probably around 15-20 minutes for our drinks. I enjoyed my mazapan latte, I would rate a 3.5/5. However, I enjoyed my friend's churro latte more, I would give it a 4.5/5 The staff here was extremely sweet. They were extremely helpful and said if anything was wrong with our drinks, they would fix it. I would definitely mix the drinks around before trying them! They're still in their soft opening stage, so I would be more lenient on them running out of products. I do want to come back and try their matcha though, it looked extremely green. read more

I stopped by Que Rico Caffecito around 7:15 a.m. on a Sunday right when they opened because I was really looking forward to trying the Biscoff Cookie Latte. Unfortunately, they were already out of that one and the Churro Latte, which was pretty disappointing. I can understand running out later in the day, but I was surprised they were sold out first thing in the morning. I ended up ordering the vanilla latte instead. It was good I enjoyed it . The coffee shop itself is really cute, though, with a nice little seating area if you want to hang out for a bit. Their matcha drinks looked really good, so I'll definitely have to come back and give one of those a try. The ladies working up front were very friendly and welcoming, which made for a pleasant experience overall. Hopefully next time they'll have the drink I originally came for and I will go back to try their matcha overall 7/10 read more

The staff were very nice. The cashier made sure she told customers waiting at the register to give her a minute if she needed to step away from the register. And then the other person which I think is the owner made sure everybody wasn't waiting to place an order. The inside is cute not too much seating though so I don't think it'll be a good place to study since I like to find the coffee shops to work at. I got the double Matcha with oat milk. I'd rated it a 7/10. It is very much on the sweeter side. I think the sweetness overpowered the Matcha. The green color looks good though! But I wish the cold foam was a little bit thicker in the consistency. My coworker got the churro latte with oat milk. He rates it 8/10. He said his wasn't super sweet but it's good. read more

Came across this new coffee shop in my city of Ontario, and it is absolutely amazing!!! The service was 10/10, the ambiance is SO cute, and to top it all off it's family owned! There's something so special about seeing a small business thrive and being able to support a family owned spot right in your community. I went with the plátano coffee with salted caramel cold foam and OMG I'M OBSESSED!!! The flavors were so good! I didn't get a picture of the cinnamon roll but trust me when I say you need to try that pastry. It was absolutely delicious! I'll start off with the good things before the bad of it.I ordered their customer favorite which was the Churro Latte and the drink was well balanced but the coffee was not strong as I had hoped. The space is nice and the customer service ok. Now my second drink was a Signature on the menu which was their Spanish Latte and it was a total fail. A Spanish inspired coffee shop that can't do that is so disappointing. Not the powder of cinnamon could help this drink. If you know me by now you know I don't call out other businesses but if you want a legit Spanish Latte just go to Nook! There I said it! Call me what you want but I had to write this because It's the truth man. I understand they are new but if you want to play the game then come in hard and not lame. I'm normally super picky with coffee & matcha, but i loved trying this place! the coffee was a perfect amount of sweetness and the espresso didn't taste burnt or overpowering! We ordered the Mazapan latte, Biscoff latte, and the banana pudding matcha! As far as food, we ordered the club sandwich and avocado toast... GREAT as well! Look i liked it, that was it. Just "like" nothing bad though. It wasn't great or amazing but it was good. I like the little look of it, very cool and calm, low-key you can see everything from the outside, which is kinda scary cause there is a good amount of homeless walking around, but you feel good and safe inside. Que Rico Cafecito has quickly become one of my favorite places! I've been going pretty much every day since they opened, and every single visit has been amazing. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the owner is one of the sweetest people you'll ever meet. They always make you feel appreciated the moment you walk in. The coffee is delicious, Their pastries are just as amazing perfect with a coffee. It's rare to find a place with such great customer service and consistently high quality drinks and food. Thought I would try this spot since it was so close to my house and I love coffee. Tried just about every spot around here! Anyway ended up getting the biscoff coffee and the banana one for my partner. Biscoff was a disappointment. It's too thick, too sweet and not enough coffee taste. Just tastes like a watery cookie smoothie, idk how to explain it. Just not balanced. The banana was even worse too watery and definitely didn't taste banana or coffee. Considering the biscoff is one of the more popular coffees they have, I wouldn't come back. read more

In my experience, Que Rico Cafecito makes some of the best coffee and matcha around. The matcha flavor is high-quality and rich, whereas other shops usually taste watered down. You can really tell the owner and staff put a lot of love and dedication into their craft. I highly recommend ordering El Plátano, S'mores latte, Rico, Sugar Nutty Flame, or the Matcha Con Fresas. I tried the Iced Carmel Brulee Latte and I really enjoyed it. My friend got the strawberries and cream matcha And she liked it too. It's very nice And clean in here and the staff were very polite And attentive. We were sitting and enjoying our drinks in there for about an hour and a couple of times we were Asked about our drinks and they were making sure we were having a good experience, which we did. I'm so mad, that I didn't think to open a coffee shop shop as good as this one in this amazing location. Putting my entrepreneur side away for a moment. This coffee shop shop is a gift sent from heaven and not just because all the angels behind the counter. The shop is kept clean and I like the amount of seating available. The selection of coffees was not overwhelming and they have a great selection of food and pastries. It became so hostile to the point I wanted to never come back it was so frustrating I spoke to Sara the manager and explained the situation and instead of assist she wanted the same at this point I wanted a refund and they could keep everything I order at the end of it Sara took Care of the issue and made the missed drink which I truly appreciate because if the lack of communication due to no one speak Spanish and system issue. This has left a disappointing taste to a place i absolutely love going to and spend time with my kids while enjoy a coffee I love. I truly hope the customer service returns to what I have experienced many time and this is a one time bad day.

About 8 hours later, after grilling dinner, both my wife and I suddenly became extremely sick. Severe stomach pain, nonstop trips to the restroom, and all the signs of food poisoning hit us hard. Our guest had just started eating dinner while my wife and I were both stuck dealing with the symptoms. The symptoms carried throughout the entire night and are still lingering. Both of us have been dealing with fevers, body aches, nausea, stomach cramps, and constant trips to the restroom. It completely ruined what started as such a special Mother's Day for our family. I normally don't leave reviews like this, but I felt it was important to share our experience. I truly hope this was an isolated incident, especially on a busy holiday, but I also hope food handling and quality control are looked into so no other families have to spend Mother's Day ending like ours did.

I had a great time visiting this coffee establishment. As a passionate matcha lover, I can attest to their fantastic matcha beverage. Specifically, the double matcha. The drink has always been tasty and consistent each time I've visited.
