Cute little place - it is small and there is no inside dining, but we enjoyed the small tables outside. Delicious, fresh-tasting food. We had the kale salad and the veggie burger. Friendly service - we also enjoyed the banana chocolate cookie bites. If we lived nearby, we would be regulars to this place.

False advertisement. Not all food is vegan. Some of the desserts are made with honey... I ordered and ate without knowing. It was all very delicious, so I looked online to see ingredients and saw that the cookies, cobbler, and truffles have honey They also stated on their website: "All of our food is vegan (except for a small amount of local, raw honey we use in some of our desserts and dressings) ..." The worker didn't even inform us when we ordered. I feel so baboozled.

This establishment consistently delivers exceptional and delectable cuisine. Despite recent ownership changes, the quality of service and ambiance remains unwavering. The continued dedication to excellence is commendable.

Vegan food here! Small cafe. Menu changes each week and food pick up is generally Monday, Wednesday, or Friday. Must order online to sample the menu items. Upon pick up, you'll see your name on your take out bag in the fridge to the right once you enter. The chef greets you and if you ordered ahead, she reassures you that your food is in the fridge. I ordered kale salad with zesty dressing, cranberry and blueberry scones, and the chocolate mousse. The elegant salad of kale was lightly dressed in sweet taste but not too sweet.. it was just right. For the price of the scones, the size and indeed raw vegan, I probably will not order again. The chocolate mousse was Ah-MAZ-ING. Yet, again, quite pricey for the small portion. Vegans and Raw foodies, you'll have to try for yourself.

My desire: I want abs. The problem: I love food too much. I can workout but saying no to bacon, carbs and sweets..oh lordy that's hard! I've had Que SeRaw SeRaw bookmarked for quite sometime due to the glorious reviews of their all vegan items. They're close by our place but I never have seem to remember them or stop by at the right time. One day after a workout my cousin and I decided to fuel up here. He was on a vegan diet as a detox for several months before so I knew I was coming with the right open minded person. We stopped by around 1ish and they close at 2. Unfortunately nothing "lunchish" was really left. They mainly had desserts. The women had told me that they only make a certain amount for the day. I wish they had more supply to make some as requested. Sad, we went to a Mediterranean place a few blocks down to eat, but returned to pick up dessert before they closed. I got the coffee cheesecake slice. It was a warm day but on the short drive, my cake melted a bit. The cake was delightful. Not as pronounced in flavor as I'd like and the taste and consistency was a bit different than normal cheesecake but it was healthy and satisfied my sweet tooth. It didn't taste diluted at all. I think some of the items that they offer are a bit high in price point especially given that it's not made to order. I'm hoping to give them a proper try for their wraps or pizza.

First time coming here and I wish I knew about this place sooner!! Amazing healthy food. I am trying to live a healthier lifestyle and having this place close by makes it so easy. They had vegan pesto pizza that was to die for! I'm not even vegan but I'm coming back for more. Also this is a local small business and it's wonderful to support this gem.

Which entrees can be made with no onions and no garlic?

Can you buy a whole cake?

Yes! We sell our cheesecakes and chocolate mousse torte whole for $65. Call us at 640-348-7298 to reserve one and arrange pick-up.

Looking to buy some items for a potluck at work. If I bought wraps/rolls in the morning and kept them refrigerated, would they taste okay during dinnertime?

Yes, I think they would be fine. I bought wrap there at lunch and my wife didn’t eat it until the next day and it was delicious and the wrap was still holding up.

I wouldn't say Michelin-worthy but worth a visit for elevated presentation of classic Indian dishes with a modern or fusion twist. On this visit, I had the Corn Chaat (a favorite!), fried Andhra fried chicken and chutney prawns and meen vazhayila pollichatu (white fish in banana leaf). Kulfi was the most flavorful for dessert but otherwise dessert game is poor here and would recommend going elsewhere. However, the menu felt much more limited than I remembered from several years ago, when it seemed more interesting and expansive. My friend and I shared the Chutney Prawns for $18 and the White Elephant Dosa for $26, along with one cocktail and one mocktail. Unfortunately, I was not especially impressed by the food. The prawns felt underwhelming for the price, and my mocktail was not particularly memorable. The dosa was visually impressive at two feet long, but it is ultimately still a very thin dosa and very crispy, and I found the seasoning somewhat overwhelming. The gunpowder and spices overpowered the dish for me, although the sauces and potato masala were flavorful. Our total came to approximately $90, and for that price, I expected a more satisfying overall experience. Service was also inconsistent. It was slow initially, and while our server was cordial and kind once he assisted us, he did not return to check on us after taking our order. We ultimately relied on the bartender for items such as an extra spoon and the check. The ambiance is beautiful, but between the limited menu, high prices, uneven food, and inattentive service, I do not feel the experience justified the cost. Unfortunately, I do not plan to return. For Michelin rated I expected more.

The place is quite pretty. We opted for a small table outside , which is much quieter. Our waiter was a bit stiff around the collar. I suspect he is an old timer, and clearly, we are not regulars. Regardless, the food is great, and the prices are reasonable. The Food: Zucchini Cake, $15 - 4.5 Stars Menu: crispy zucchini cakes with cucumber & mint-yogurt dressing These cakes are ball shaped, deep fried, and made a healthy veggie taste naughty type of good. Very yummy. Lol Tzatziki, $9 - 5 Stars Refreshing and delicious, the tzatziki is an excellent complement to the meal. Octopus, $19 - 5 Stars I really need to stop eating octopus, but when I am in a Greek or Spanish restaurant, I am weak. Grilled octopus legs are soooo good. Their version is grilled just right, not too much char, plus they smartly removed the hardened tips (common) before serving. See photo. Lamb Shank, $34 - 5 Stars Menu: aromatic braised lamb shank with orzo & myzithra cheese The lamb meat is tender and falls off the bone. It is cooked just right. Mykonos Souvlaki, $31 - 5 Stars Menu: herbs marinated tenderloin, shallot & rosemary skewers I enjoy a tasty protein and produce meal, and this dish is perfection with tender pieces of tenderloin over a pile of veggies. Entrees did take a little while longer to be served but I don't blame the workers for the crowd. Service was attentive (server, food runners, & bussers). My drink: Post & Beam Cabernet Sauvignon red wine - rich, full bodied, mildly sweet with a smooth, long finish. Complimented my entree very well (lamb shank). No clash in taste going from eating to drinking. Appetizers: Calamari: Not a huge fan of calamari personally but it was okay. Crispy and chewy squid inside as expected. Greek fries: Typical fries. Crispy and garnished with 2 sauces. One has a mild spice. Nothing super special but it was good as a choice of "sides" from the menu that turned into an appetizer. Had some leftover for my entree that paired well with it actually. Zucchini cakes: crispy shell on the outside but a mushy, hashbrown-like inside of a flavorful mix of vegetables. Really enjoyed this one. Would recommend it. Entrees: Mine: Lamb Shank: soft, tender, the meat melts right off the bone. The sauce is amazing. Tasteful down to the garnish. There was one end that was super fatty and slimy and then different side of the same end that was really chewy like bubblegum but other than that, still my favorite dish from everyone else's. Glad I chose this. Fisherman's Pasta : the presentation is immaculate, very proportional ratio of seafood to the pasta. l like the variety but honestly, this dish is bland. Good thing I got the lamb shank! Arnisia Paidakia (Lamb Chops): Didn't eat but the person who ate it said it tastes good but kind of dry. What he enjoyed about it was that the rice was made of wheat & savory as well. Lobster Risotto - wasn't my personal order but I got to try a bite. Had some flavor and and enough meat from the tail to eat with the savory rice. Free birthday Baklava desert: Never had it before but I got a bite and liked it. Ended up giving the rest to everyone else. This place is good for its variety of choices so I may come back for the good food and atmosphere.

Our food took a long time to come out because the kitchen (staffed by a single chef) had to switch between gluten free equipment, frying oil, etc. The fact that they take the time to isolate the gluten free food so carefully shows an extraordinary level of conscientiousness. To make our wait more bearable, the woman working the front of house brought us complimentary hot tea and tempura. The tempura had a particularly crisp texture and delicate flavor that led me to ask what kind of oil they use. They use rice bran oil. If you are familiar with this oil, it's expensive to source and typically used in high end restaurants. We ordered shio saba, vegan curry, and chirashi. The saba was very high quality and grilled delicately without drying out. It also came with tempura and pickles. The rice was also great, with every grain separated and perfectly steamed. I hate mushy rice, and you can tell Minako puts a lot of effort into doing it right. The curry was deliciously flavored, reminiscent of S&B but with less of a turmeric flavor. The chirashi was good, but I think the curry was the star of the day. The quality of ingredients and the expert preparation make this a very high value for money. Next time we will call our order in advance, and I'm looking forward to trying oyaku don. If you find yourself hungry for Japanese food that feels homemade, you must try Minako.

Upon entry, we were welcomed by a brightly lit and very clean venue. Ray and I were immediately drawn to the beautiful marble-topped white counter that encased a gorgeous variety of exquisite treats. The commitment to the elegance of French culture and modern creativity were evident in every luxurious pastry and cake on display. Maison Alyzée is an order-at-the-counter establishment, so we made our purchase with a friendly staff member at the register. Unfortunately, we were told that espresso drinks were no longer available that night since the staff had already begun cleaning the machines. Ok....I never understand businesses that start shutting down things before closing time. This just shows customers that team convenience of closing shop quickly takes precedence over customer experience, essentially omitting availability of items from the menu while they are still open. For this reason, I am docking a star. Luckily, they still had some cold brew available, so I ordered a Lavender Cold Brew with oat milk. Heads-up: Plant-based milks like almond and oat milk incur a $0.75 surcharge. I wish that the lavender was more like a simple syrup, so that the flavour was sweeter and less sharp. If you plan on visiting during the weekend, expect a wait. The line can get pretty long, but after eating here multiple times, I can confidently say it is worth every minute. Some restaurants are all hype, but Curry Hyuga earns every bit of the praise it receives. The katsu is consistently excellent. Whether you order the chicken or the pork, the breading is always perfectly crisp while the meat stays incredibly juicy and tender. That level of consistency is something I really appreciate because every visit has been just as good as the last. The curry is what keeps me coming back. It is rich, comforting, and packed with layers of flavor. Every bite has a depth and complexity that makes it stand out from your typical Japanese curry. It is the kind of meal that leaves you thinking about it long after you have finished. One thing I also really enjoy is the atmosphere. The restaurant strikes a great balance between being lively and comfortable. There is enough energy in the room that it feels welcoming and full of life, but it is still quiet enough to have an easy conversation without having to raise your voice. I often find myself stopping in for a solo meal when I am in the area, and it is the perfect place to enjoy a peaceful lunch or dinner by myself. At the same time, it works just as well when I bring friends and family. It is one of those rare restaurants that feels right no matter who you are dining with.
