I really, really wanted to like this place. One automatic BIG star for the fact that this place uses organic ingredients. Cant complain about the service either; the lady/owner was kind and allowed us to try small samples. The food: - Smoothie: Bland...I make really healthy and delicious smoothies at home and it's with the best ingredients. Healthy does not have to equal bland. It tasted more like pure almond milk than anything. - Burrito & Thai wraps: I'll simply lump these two together and say that again, the flavors were just not there. Flavors were underwhelming. Cute little place - it is small and there is no inside dining, but we enjoyed the small tables outside. Delicious, fresh-tasting food. We had the kale salad and the veggie burger. It was all very delicious, so I looked online to see ingredients and saw that the cookies, cobbler, and truffles have honey They also stated on their website: "All of our food is vegan (except for a small amount of local, raw honey we use in some of our desserts and dressings) ..." On the Buddhism Holy Days, she is not only vegan but she is not allowed garlic and onions in her dietary. I called and spoke with the store owner. He is so helpful. He listened to my needs and specific requests. He modified the recipes and made us very delicious - Thai Wrap, burrito, beet salad, crunchy celery salad. The chocolate chips and red velvet cookies are also delicious. The ingredients are fresh. Overall, I am very happy with both the food and the service of this place. I ordered kale salad with zesty dressing, cranberry and blueberry scones, and the chocolate mousse. The elegant salad of kale was lightly dressed in sweet taste but not too sweet.. it was just right. For the price of the scones, the size and indeed raw vegan, I probably will not order again. The chocolate mousse was Ah-MAZ-ING. Yet, again, quite pricey for the small portion. Wish we lived closer to come by more often but used to be a regular when I lived here years ago, came by again recently and happy to report it's still going well. Some of my favorites are the gazpacho, pesto pizza, nori roll, chia pudding and the chocolate cake (YUM!). There's parking right across, you better pick up early because they do run out so then you'll be left to choose from what's there. It is on the more expensive side but the ingredients are really fresh and you feel good after eating it. Really shows how much other restaurants compromise on fresh ingredients I suppose. They're close by our place but I never have seem to remember them or stop by at the right time. One day after a workout my cousin and I decided to fuel up here. He was on a vegan diet as a detox for several months before so I knew I was coming with the right open minded person. We stopped by around 1ish and they close at 2. Unfortunately nothing "lunchish" was really left. They mainly had desserts. The women had told me that they only make a certain amount for the day. I wish they had more supply to make some as requested. Sad, we went to a Mediterranean place a few blocks down to eat, but returned to pick up dessert before they closed. I got the coffee cheesecake slice. It was a warm day but on the short drive, my cake melted a bit. The cake was delightful. Not as pronounced in flavor as I'd like and the taste and consistency was a bit different than normal cheesecake but it was healthy and satisfied my sweet tooth. It didn't taste diluted at all. I think some of the items that they offer are a bit high in price point especially given that it's not made to order. I'm hoping to give them a proper try for their wraps or pizza. read more

Perfection and aaahhhazjng! I've been raw, vegan, plant-based for more than half my life, so I've eaten my fair share of raw food. This place is legit. It's super fresh, not overly nutty - sometimes raw food can just have too many nuts involved in the recipes. I purchased the OMG soup, Pad Thai, Nori Rolls and Cinnamon Rolls. All so wonderful! The only truly organic eatery in the Peninsula which I am oh so grateful for! I have been meaning to check this spot out for quite a while now and I am so glad I finally did today. My new go-to for nourishing, flavor-packed meals and treats. With how much people seem to care about living a healthy lifestyle in this area, it boggles my mind how little demand there is for prepared food that is at least non-GMO and pesticide free. I do empathize with others comments about the portions being small, as I did have to purchase quite a few items to feel full (lunch + dessert set me back about $42), but I do also sympathize with the steep cost of doing business in this area, as well as the cost of preparing organic AND nutritious raw food. People say SF has a lot of "healthy", "vegan" options but really, I can count them on one hand and Que SeRaw SeRaw is a hard to come by raw vegan spot in the peninsula. Super tiny and quaint spot great for pick up, but worth visiting. I wish the demand for raw vegan was higher in the bay. In the past decade this has been the one clean option even before I explored raw vegan. After attending raw festivals and visiting other raw vegan spots around the country I'm even more grateful to have them here and look forward to an expansion some day! read more

This place literally blew my mind. I've been to other vegan places like this before which had good reviews, but the food just tasted mediocre so I wasn't expecting much going from this place. I'm not even vegan but decided to give this place a try because I wanted something healthy, and a lot of their items looked good on the menu. I came in on a Tuesday morning, and the lady that was working let me sample some of their thai wrap and banana smoothie. I was shocked by how much flavor they both had and couldn't believe that all the ingredients they use are vegan and organic! I also got their creamy cucumber soup and poquito burrito which was interesting. I wish the cucumber soup had a little more flavor. Small quibble: a smidge salty for me. Food is portioned pretty dainty, but $7.50 is not bad for the burrito and the nori rolls, those were super filling. They also sell day old items at a discount, scored the mock tuna pate for $3! Remember to carry some mints post meal, lots of garlic, onions and spices! I am so happy to see this place still thriving in the Bay Area. It is the LONE healthy, raw food vegan place in the Bay! If you want real ingredients, no additives, and just delicious food this is the place. I used to come whenever I could because sometimes I could not make the hours that they were open, but now they are open 9-5! This is a nice quickstop to and from the airport to get REAL food since eating at airports is usually a hot mess. Please support this small business!, we are so lucky to have them! Was in the neighborhood so I decided to check out this tiny storefront. I got the nori roll and the cookies. The nori roll was really good but not that filling. On the other hand, I couldn't believe that the tuna inside was not real tuna! If I could afford this food and if my stomach wasn't so streched out that it requires more food to keep me full, I would eat this all day, every day! The cookies...my goodness were a delectible treat. The employee advised me that the cookies need to be refrigerated. I quickly found out that the cookies melt and become like cookie dough if not properly stored. But who doesn't like eating raw cookie dough? And since this vegan version contains no eggs, I could eat without fear of peeing out my rear. I also froze some cookies, and it still is edible right out the freezer; no need to thaw them! There are no tables or chairs but a small wooden booth along the window. You can see everything they're making right in front of you. There is a glass case that carries all of the different foods from: Almond milk smoothies, Raw Vegan Chocolate Cheesecakes, Truffles, Naan, No Bean Hummus, Nori rolls with Mock Tuna, Salads and more goodies. I had: Naan - 2 big, thick type cracker, full on flavor, nice texture, not too hard and not stale. No Bean Hummus - so creamy and garlicky! Almond Milk Smoothie with Strawberries - had Dino kale. I'm not gonna lie I was kind of surprised by the price but I get it. I probably wouldn't get the Smoothie again just because, I can save $6 for a small cup and make one myself BUT I'm so down for the other items! Nori Roll with Mock Tuna - it was really good, veggies were so crunchy and the avocado was nice and fresh. Chocolate cheesecake - Holy Moly, man... That was honestly life changing for me. I read a number of reviews on Yelp before my first visit and was skeptical to say the least. I am in day 2 of a 21 day wellness cleanse (no alcohol, gluten, animal products, sugar and caffeine) and thought I was only going to be able to eat salad morning noon and night. I walked in the door and as met with a great big smile by Alicia and told her "I have no idea what I am doing, please help me." She proceeded to give me some info and even better, a few samples. I walked out of there with a deviled salad, Buddha bar salad, power balls and something else that will be for lunch tomorrow. I had their Nori Mock Tuna Rolls, which didn't look like anything special and the portion looked small, but as soon as I took my first bite it was love at first bite! Amazing!! I am pleasantly pleasantly surprised at how savory raw vegan food can be! I stumbled upon this place because I was searching for gluten-free food to go for lunch. I've perused this area of Burlingame before but never noticed them! I stopped in and just picked up some nori rolls. Everything is convenient made and packaged which is just what I need because I wanted something I could pick up fast and eat at the office during my busy work day. My disclosure is that I am not vegan; don't hate me but I love meat! So I was incredibly impressed that these nori rolls with mock tuna paste tastes just like a real sushi roll with fish in it -- but it's not meat at all! It has organic almonds and sunflower seeds, tahini, celery, red onion, parsley, lemon, garlic, kelp, nori, avocado (when available), carrot, arugula, romaine and salt. It was $7.99. We also shared the Thai wrap, $8.99. It has organic romaine, red cabbage, walnuts, red bell peppers, dates, green onions, carrots, celery, cucumber, sesame seeds, ginger, spearmint, cilantro, Tamari soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, tahini, sesame oil, garlic and red pepper flakes in a raw dehydrated coconut wrap. The no bean hummus is also very good. It's $3.79. It has organic walnuts, zucchini, sesame seeds, olive oil, lemon, garlic, cayenne and salt. The mint chocolate chip cheesecake was my favorite thing, $6.99. The crust was made of organic almonds, dates, cocoa powder and salt. Filling: Organic cashews, almond milk, coconut sugar, coconut oil, cocoa powder, sunflower lecithin, peppermint flavoring, vanilla and salt. The chocolate torte was $5.99 and made of organic almonds, avocado, dates, cocoa powder, coconut sugar, coconut flakes, salt and vanilla. It was very good but not as amazing as the mint dessert, in my opinion. For my drink I had the banana kale smoothie. I know it sounds weird but it was amazing. It was sweet like a banana.
