Pick from a pastry case, order at the counter, and take an empty cup to pour your own coffee. Spacious seating by windows and at tables around the corner from the action. Chocolate Croissant: Great for people who are all about the chocolatey. Big chunks falling out. For people who are all about a proper croissant, the place down the street is far superior, unfortunately, and with better parking. The croissant here was soft, not flaky. Bendy, not brittle. Blueberry Muffin: Had this on a previous visit a year ago (not pictured). Much like the croissant, it was okay. Overall experience, just okay. Nothing wrong with it, but some bakeries have me thinking about what looked great in the case that I didn't have, and might have next time. Not the case here.

I have not had a chance to go in person here, but from that I have had through family, this spot is amazing for baked goods/deserts. Gonna check out out for myself soon as not too far from home. I've tried two things: Pumpkin bread (great!) Carrot cupcake (amazing)

" love the pastries " The pastries here we got , were delicious. They tasted fresh and with good ingredients. The breakfast sandwich's are great , just a tad greasy. The vibe is warm. The service is friendly . It has a good neighborhood vibe . We had a pleasant experience.

Beautiful and delicious pastries and baked treats all at a great price! Even after a day of waiting the quality stays fresh and lovely. The cafe itself is very relaxed to sit in and love the decorations. Staff is always friendly and helpful. We love coming here, and plan on coming back regularly.

Limited free parking out front. It's a shared small lot with other shops. It gets busy with cars coming and going. The good thing is that there is free street parking for 2 hours. There are some tables inside. Again, it gets super busy with people coming and going. Good coffee and bakery items!

This review is mainly for their holiday menu but I popped into this bakery for the first time today and was amazed by the delicious holiday treats. I'm a huge fan of gingerbread men and this place made fantastic gingerbread cookies and loafs. The cupcakes looked delicious as well. The inside was packed with people and I can tell this is a place with a lively vibe everyday. Great place to grab coffee and lunch or sweets. Lots of friendly staff helping you. Highly recommend stopping by and grabbing a gingerbread or holiday-themed cupcake!

Forgot to take a picture of a slice because it was just that yummy! Chocolate covered strawberries were deliciously sweet and fresh. No shrinkage on the strawberries. Nice, rich chocolate ganache with just the right thickness. Placed the order in advance for a Friday 1pm pickup. It was ready as requested. The family wants to get it again!

I am always on the hunt for a good scone and this morning I was craving one so decided to stop by Quebrada. I was really impressed by how big this place was and the ample seating they had! Large variety of baked goods and drink options. The blueberry scone had lots of blueberries in it and was not too sweet. Not the best scone I have ever had but it was good. Probably wouldn't go out of my way for it again though. Employees were very friendly. Overall, nice spot!

The ham and cheese/spinach and cheese croissants are a must. Very busy place and not cheap but fresh and tasty.

Walking in, the space itself made an impression before I even got to the pastry case. The decor felt warm and inviting, and the display of breads and pastries made the ordering process genuinely difficult because everything looked exactly as good as it should. I worked through a solid spread across my visit. The croissant is exceptional, with a proper lamination and a buttery, flaky exterior that holds up on its own without needing anything added to it. The almond croissant takes that foundation and builds on it well, with a generous amount of almond filling and a finish that does not lean too sweet. The pain au chocolat follows the same standard, the chocolate inside is good quality and the pastry around it has the right amount of crispness without being dry. The canele is a smaller order but worth including, with that characteristic caramelized exterior giving way to a soft, custardy center that is easy to underestimate until you are halfway through it. The creme brulee latte rounded out the order nicely and was a good match for everything on the pastry side of the table. It is rich without being overwhelming and complements the food rather than competing with it. The line moved well even when the place was busy, and the staff were friendly and engaged throughout. This is one of the better French style bakeries I have found in the area, and it holds up to that comparison without much debate.

Licks. Living in Connecticut, I was unfamiliar with J.P. Licks. I found out it's a Massachusetts ice cream chain with locations in Boston, Brookline, Cambridge, Somerville, Newton, Wellesley, Andover, Lynnfield, and Dedham. When you walk into their colorful store, you'll see the big menu board highlighting their frozen treats - Ice Cream & Hard Yogurt Flavors, Soft & Tart Yogurt Flavors, Frappes, Smoothies, Dairy Free Drinks, Toppings, Sundaes, Splits, and more. We saw ice cream cakes and pies, ice cream sandwiches, cupcakes and so much more. They even have a coffee bar with hot breakfast & snacks like oatmeal, waffles, croissant and egg sandwiches, etc. I went into their Feature Flavors menu and was delighted to find a personal favorite - Orange Chocolate Chip "Creamy orange ice cream with soft, dark chocolate chips". It was outstanding. My wife went with a dish of Coconut Almond Chip - "Ultra coconut creamy ice cream with sweet, shredded coconut, roasted salted almonds, and semisweet chocolate chips in this chewy-crunchy textural delight". I sampled it and enjoyed it more than mine! Small cups ran over $5 apiece, so be forewarned. The young crew working at J.P. Licks was friendly and fun to chat with. We took one of their tables at the front of the store and the six of us enjoyed our excellent ice cream.

Great ambiance - sophisticated, classy, fancy yet casual decor and vibe. They had some menus on a little table when you first walked in, in front of the pastry display. Lots of pastries consisting of a variety of muffins, breads, sweets, etc. The menu was pretty big, filled with breakfast and lunch items, and a selection of beverages. It is an order at the register/counter type spot, so you can easily order for there or to go. The staff working were friendly and had quick turnaround times. There was also a fancy coffee station where they made the fancy espressos, cappuccinos, etc. There were various seating options - it was crowded when we went so it was kind of hard to find a spot, but we managed. We ordered small and got a muffin and lemon poppyseed bread slice and two cold brew coffees. We technically ordered for there so they served them on sturdy plates. For your cold brews and regular coffees, they had a coffee-condiment station - ie creamers, oat milk, sugars, etc. plus silverware, napkins, etc. and the cleanup bins for when you are done with you meals. The muffin and bread were delicious - the poppyseed had a nice lemon glaze! I would definitely consider going back to try some other bakery items and something from the kitchen. It had a nice, upscale but casual vibe and seems like a hot spot place for the area.

As a town…read moreresident I've been a loyal customer at this location since 2020, visiting at least 3 times a week. I know the staff well at this store and loved shopping here for not only the convenience but the small town/local market type of environment. The Assistant Store Manager Jose completely shattered my trust. In July, Assistant Manager Jose stepped in to address an incident I had with a cashier on store policy (after I had already connected with corporate about it). He vehemently apologized and even purchased me a bottle of wine as an apology. He reassured me that he would speak to the cashiers about it going forward. On Friday, he denied it all and implied it was a one time exception. What upset me most isn't the store policy - I understand and respect that. It was the dishonesty and lack of clear communication. Had management politely communicated in July that this was an exception instead of providing me with a gift and false sense of reassurance it would have drastically changed the circumstances. A manager should stand behind his word or at least address discrepancies with respect. Instead, he denied our conversation happened and he did it in front of staff members I've built relationships with over years. After 6 years of loyalty, I feel completely disrespected. I'm heartbroken because this store meant something to me - it felt like home. I can't trust a business where management lacks integrity.
