    Hazelnut coffee with foamed milk
    Dan D.

Do not be fooled by the roasting apparatus lying just inside the door, or by the barrel of freshly roasted espresso beans literally by the cash register. Sudbury Coffee Works serves NESPRESSO if you order a latte! When I explained to the cashier that I did not want a latte made from coffee pods, he told me at various times that (a) I was being too picky, (b) that people "from the area" like what they get at Sudbury, (c) that Starbucks serves espresso that might be more to my liking, and that (d) he ultimately wanted me to be happy, so he would remake my drink. I changed my order to a hazelnut coffee with milk. He steamed the milk with the Nespresso machine to make it more latte-like. It was just OK. I really wanted a longer and more nuanced flavor profile, and what I got was flat and one-note. I also ordered a blueberry scone, which was flavorless and forgettable.

    Cranberry Pecan Chicken Salad

Haven't been here for awhile so stopped in for a quick bite. Ordered a cranberry pecan chicken salad w/brioche bread and Gouda cheese. At first glance all I could see was a lot of lettuce then the bread then some chicken. As soon as I took a bite it basically fell apart. Not enough chicken salad and was lacking flavor for the price. Found tables not clean and it was quite noisy with people behind the counter dropping what sounded like pans. Maybe they were having an off day, but I won't be returning any time soon.

    Indoor seating.

I love this bright, airy little gem! It meets all my "requirements:" natural light, tons of (fresh!) food options, lots of coffee variety, and plenty of open spaces for seating. Great for groups or singles. I visited at 9:00 on a summer Monday and most indoor tables were available. I was just popping in to get a breakfast sandwich on the go...but I would definitely come back for a leisurely meal and for a chill workspace. So many fresh pastries, plus The. Freshest. Bagel. I've ever had! The prices are reasonable and service was surprisingly speedy. Note: I didn't see coffee listed on their online menu, so I snapped a pic of their offerings. They absolutely have coffee!

I had the pesto, roasted chicken, mozzarella and tomato panini on a rich, parmasan-crusted bread.

"When you noodle with a doodlin' song I like it so much,…read moreI'll doodle some more" (Peggy Lee) Were you stumped by the word "Kugel"? Kugel is a traditional Jewish noodle casserole. And that word makes perfect sense as the namesake of this wonderful little Framingham deli. Their menu is loaded with the ethnic delights you'll find in any NY Style Deli - Reuben and Rachel sandwiches, Hot Pastrami, Bagels and Lox, Whitefish Salad, Potato Latkes, Matzoh Ball Soup, Herring, Kishka, Challah French Toast, and yes........... Noodle Kugel. We had checked out their deep menu the day before and knew what we wanted - a Whitefish & Lox Platter ($25) with a choice of Bagel, a choice of cream cheese served with lettuce, onions and tomatoes, and cucumbers. We added an extra bagel for $1.75. Now, I have to tell you that we were incredulous when this huge platter of very reasonably priced platter of food was delivered to our table. I bet there was between a third and a half pound of lox, plenty of vegetable cream cheese, a ramekin of whitefish salad, and a garden of lettuce leaves, sliced tomatoes, thinly sliced purple onions, and cucumber slices. The bagels were pretty big and were everything you want in a bagel -nice and chewy/crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. We each had one half of our respective bagels with cream cheese, lox, and onions, and the other half with whitefish, lettuce, cucumbers and tomatoes. One customer service caught my eye immediately -those big tomato slices had been carefully trimmed to take out the core. That drives me batshit crazy when a restaurant apathetically doesn't do that. Staying on the customer service theme, our server was very attentive, with plenty of checkbacks and coffee refills. We packed up our leftovers and finished them off the next day. So that fish yielded us four servings. I promise you this....... The next time we are looking for breakfast between Boston and Worcester... I know where we'll end up. We might even get some Kugel at Kugel!

Best find of the year! I am particular about my sandwiches but decided to take a risk. Boy am I…read moreglad I did! Everything about this place left me wanting more! Not because of the size of the servings either.
