    Vegan chocolate chip cookie
    Jessica R.

Love this place! I've been here a few times for both their cookies and ice cream and am so glad they have vegan options for both! I recently got their vegan chocolate chip cookie and it was truly perfection in both taste and texture. I loved the soft crumbly cookie with rich, decadent chocolate chips. I would never have guessed it was vegan! Their ice cream is also so creamy and smooth. The employees are upbeat and friendly here and the store is very clean and well maintained. Parking is also very easy in their giant lot. If you join their rewards program, you get discounts and a free cookie on your birthday!

I walked into this establishment 10 minutes before closing, fully aware it was the end of a shift on Monday, March 3rd . However, no matter what time a customer arrives, they should feel valued and receive decent customer service. Upon entering, a young man at the counter greeted me kindly and assured me they were still open when I asked. His welcoming attitude was appreciated. However, my experience quickly turned sour. While I stood at the counter, I noticed a young woman, who appeared to be counting a register, looking visibly annoyed that I was there. There were no cookies in the display, and since this was my first visit, I wasn't familiar with their menu or offerings. I asked more than one question. As I looked toward the menu on the wall, I hoped she might offer some guidance but she didn't. Her demeanor was cold and unhelpful. Another employee eventually emerged from the back, and the first woman's attitude noticeably shifted she may have been a shift lead/mgr. I finally asked if I could see some cookies, explaining that it was my first visit. Only then did she reluctantly pull out a tray of cookies for me to see. As a first-time customer, I left extremely disappointed. Regardless of the time, I shouldn't have felt like a burden. While my husband is considering giving them another try during regular hours, I'm not sure I want to. If a business can't provide respectful service no matter what time you visit, why spend money there? Despite my poor experience, I still left a dollar tip, hoping it would go to the kind young man who made an effort to welcome us. Dear Cookie Monstah Mgmt, please train your employees to understand that every customer's time, presence, and dollar matter. Exceptional service should be consistent no matter what time someone walks through your door.

I believe this is called the chocoholic With chocolate ice cream and chocolate chunk cookie Combo was bomb One creative way to eat this is to chop up the cookie and mix into the ice cream, eat it like cereal in milk Another level!

Great place with a great gluten free cookie (and other gluten-y ones which my kids loved) plus local ice cream that was delicious. You can make your own ice cream cookie sandwich! Such a great little spot and can't wait to come back!

"Well you're the real tough cookie with a long history Of breaking little hearts like the one in me" (Pat Benatar) Who likes cookies? Who likes ice cream? Who likes cookies with ice cream? If you pleaded guilty to any of these questions, you'll have a blast at Cookie Monstah. They have six locations and a food truck spread around the Boston area, and we popped into their Needham store with the grand-kids yesterday. They are Cookie Monstah veterans, but it was our first time there, so I had to start off understanding their menu choices. They basically sell cookies and ice cream. How about twenty-one cookie choices including Apple Cider, Cinnabon, Ginger Molasses, S'Mores and Stuffed Oreo. I counted 30 different ice cream flavors. So consider the possibilities. You can get plain old cookies, a plain old dish of ice cream, a cookie/ice cream sandwich, plus floats, shakes, and "quakes" which are closely related to a Dairy Queen Blizzard. We ordered a Birthday Cake cookie, a Red Velvet cookie, a chocolate quake with M&Ms, and 2 dishes of ice cream. Everything totaled $23.40 which I thought was pretty reasonable. The cookies and quake were indeed monstrous in size. My $5 dish of Toffee Heath ice cream was fantastic. Cookie Monstah caters for birthday parties and special events, and that seems like a very cool possibility to me. (Pro Tip - there is only one size of ice cream available)

I'd go 4 1/2 stars if available, but the customer service pushes it to 5 stars for me. Bomb cookies. The ice cream sandwiches are even better. Been there a couple of times and wouldn't hesitate to go back.

Went to chipotle for food, but noticed this place was still opened and it smelled good from miles away... So I walked in and bought cookies and ice cream. I have to say, this place left me speechless. The portion of ice cream was perfect, and cookie was pretty big. I've been to many other ice cream shops where they would cheap out on the scoops... this place, no. They gave us a lot! For the price, I would 100% go again if live nearby. My partner really liked the strawberry ice cream, he even said it was one of the best strawberry ice creams he has tried in MA. The cookie warmed up was delicious, and not too sweet! Highly recommend! Worth it! (We ordered other cookies and ice cream, but forgot to take photos of it...)

DELICIOUS. The cookies are AMAZING (got the caramel one), and Totally Turtle Ice Cream (Vanilla with fudge + caramel) was absolutely incredible. I finished the entire thing with my coworkers and we enjoyed every bite of it. It's definitely worth a once in a while treat b/c it's so so yum

Cookie Monster is a delicious spot if you are in the mood for something sweet. They have a bunch of different cookies and ice cream flavors to pair. They have a menu but you can also make your own combination. The ice cream sandwiches are extremely big and filling. I definitely don't feel my best after eating one of these although they are delicious. If you want something lighter I really like that you can also get just a cookie, just a scoop of ice cream, or ice cream and one cookie not in the sandwich. Such a fun treat if you want to switch up your usual dessert spots.

Great cookies and ice cream. They first came to my job with their food truck. I got the green monstah ice cream and chocolate chip cookie sandwich combo.

Very delicious cookie and ice cream combos that are extremely well priced for how big the servings are! I was impressed by the number of flavor options for both cookie and ice cream. Staff was also super friendly and answered all questions.

their cookies are delicious! they've got plenty of flavors ranging from double chocolate to ginger molasses to salted caramel. one cookie is $2.75, half a dozen is $15. their specialty cookies are a bit more expensive than their regular cookies. their cookies are hugh and rich. service was great! the staff were very friendly and kind. i definitely want to try their cookie sandwiches in the future! overall rating: 10/10

    Kim Y.

The cookie monstah truck came to my wedding for late night icecream sandwiches and it was a complete hit! Everyone LOVED it! They're so easy to communicate and work with. They let me choose my own menu with cute names for my icecream sandwiches. They also allow guests to mix and match. Everyone was raving! Highly recommend this company; thank you so much! Great experience! Super professional and timely!

We ended up getting two strawberry cream mochi, one mango cream mochi, and the mango pomelo sago. The sago was definitely on the expensive side for the portion, but it absolutely hit the spot and satisfied the craving. The mochi was the real star. The outer layer was soft, chewy, and pillowy, while the filling was light, creamy, and not overly sweet. The strawberry cream mochi tasted fresh and delicate, and the mango version was rich, fruity, and refreshing. Each one felt like biting into a little cloud. The mango pomelo sago was creamy and packed with mango flavor, making for a nice contrast to the mochi. Not exactly an everyday treat given the prices, but for a special craving, it was worth the drive and I'd happily come back.

Fresh mochi with matcha cream and taro paste, rolled in butter crunch flakes. The order took more than a few minutes to get ready, and it's a little hard to know if your order is ready because there is no visual indicator (a screen displaying order numbers would be so helpful). The staff also wasn't the most careful with the way they were using gloves, they touched their face, the register etc etc. Plus the place is small without any seating so it can get crowded and you don't even know how much time for your order to be ready. But omg the mochi was spectacular. Soft chewy tasty not too sweet. Absolutely smacked it out of the park. A lot of points to improve upon but 5 star mochi.

Needham Junction Ice Cream is a small seasonal ice cream shop located right by the train station,…read moreand it has a classic neighborhood feel that makes it a natural stop during the warmer months. We walked up to a simple, casual setup that is more of a quick stop for a treat rather than a place to sit and spend a long time, but the location adds a little extra charm with trains passing by while you enjoy your cone. The shop is compact and unpretentious, the kind of place that feels rooted in the community. The biggest highlight for us was the portion size and value. The servings are generous for the price, especially compared to many other ice cream shops where portions can feel smaller. The ice cream itself is satisfying, with a creamy texture and flavors that cover the classics without trying to reinvent the wheel. We appreciated the variety of regular ice cream options, which gave us enough choices to find something that fit our mood. The soft serve selection is a little more limited, so we would not come specifically expecting a huge range of soft serve combinations, but the regular ice cream options make up for it with their quality and portion size. The shop can get crowded during busy summer evenings, especially when families and people from the neighborhood stop by. Since it is a smaller setup, the line can build up quickly, but the service moves along at a reasonable pace. The staff handled the steady flow efficiently, and even with a queue, the wait did not feel excessive. Parking and the surrounding area can also feel a little hectic during peak times, so walking over or visiting during a quieter time can make the experience easier. The train passing by adds a nice sense of place, and the outdoor seating, though limited, gives you a spot to enjoy your treat before heading off. Needham Junction Ice Cream is a fun local spot that delivers exactly what you would expect from a neighborhood ice cream stand. The combination of good portions, fair pricing, and the train station atmosphere makes it a nice summer stop, even if the soft serve options are not as extensive as some other places. It is the kind of place that fits naturally into a warm evening walk or a quick treat after a day out.
