I've stopped at this burger place in Cornville three times now. All I have to say is the food, service and atmosphere is amazing! The Verde Valley burger, which has green chilies and Pepper Jack cheese is awesome. I've had that twice. The last time I got a chicken sandwich was equally as good. You can tell they really use fresh ingredients when preparing their food. I would probably normally give four stars for a great burger but in this case, they're getting the extra star because the fries are absolutely delicious. The best I've had in a long time. I couldn't stop eating them. Be sure to get an order of their amazing ranch on the side. It's kind of out-of-the-way but soooo worth it if you're in this area! I drive through Cornville a couple times a week and probably will become a regular. It's that good.! read more

Tuna melt sandwich is still the best I've had anywhere. Also the sweet potato fries and the unusual pork tenderloin sandwich are worth a try. Random little burger joint on your way to cottonwood and I will say that the pics made it look better than it actually was unfortunately. I ordered the southwest burger and it was quite sloppy as the bun was pretty much falling apart from all of the toppings. No spice from the green chili, in face they were actually kinda sweet which was strange to me. Burger was thin and not super juicy. However my wife did order the Asian salad and that was really good. Honestly I think the best thing that they had was their spicy ranch and chili. The chili was salty but I really enjoyed the spice level on it and it was nice and meaty. Absolute zing. I have lived in Lake Montezuma now for 3 years, and passed by G's Burgers many times. My brother ate there and told me it was really good. We went in about 2 months ago, and I've had G's Burger probably close to 6-7 times now. The Ladies working have a NO BS kinda demeanor. (which I like) Also, the huge reason for 5 stars here is Quality and more importantly consistency! I used to go to another place much closer to me, but the consistency was always different. G's Burgers has it down to a science. Amazing burgers every single time. I've also tried a few other items like corn beef and a pulled pork sandwich. I had the beach bum burger and it was delicious. Good teriyaki and the burger was seasoned well. I would definitely order it again. Magic mushrooms were a great app, and sweet potato fries were great with the meal. Everyone else enjoyed their food. They had a couple good IPAs on tap. I'm so happy we found this gem of a restaurant while in town! The burgers are juicy and filling and exquisite! The fries are hot , crispy--cooked to perfection. The cherry on top was definitely the mouth-watering brownie sundae--we were scraping the dish at the end!!! I'm sad we live so far away. Something to look forward time next time we're in Cottonwood. I'm not sure you need another review about the amazing experience that is G's. We missed this the first two times we visited... it won't happen again. Nice people, nice prices, amazing burgers! It feels a little dive-like, but that's more of a style as it was clean and the service was exceptional. It appears to be for both locals and visitors like ourselves. We went on a Tuesday for lunch and the place was packed. Luckily, we found a few chairs. They have both outside and inside seating. Outside is dog friendly. They advertise as the "The best burgers in the Verde Valley." I haven't tried too many other burger places in the area, but I can say that G's is fantastic! The Patty Melt is very tasty and cooked perfectly. I had the Verde Burger which was very good also with plenty of green chilies. The fries were very tasty and had a bit of crunch to them. A great atmosphere with welcoming staff who greeted us and we found a seat. The menu is simple with only a handful of items which is a sign of an amazing restaurant. My Mom and I ordered the Steakhouse and my Wife ordered the G's Burger with an order of parmesan fries. My burger was cooked to perfection and so delicious! Next the fries, omg I can't even begin to tell you how amazing these are. Highly recommend them as it's the perfect side to the burgers. I love a damn good house made veggie burger! Yeah, I said it. Especially with excellent fries with house made ranch dressing. Bam! Nailed it. The burger was well seasoned, not overly spicy, not mushy. Filled with good ingredients but holds up. The bun was terrific, great proportion to the patty. Situated next to a gas station convenience store gives plenty of for large vehicle parking. Not unusual to find trucks with trailers, RV's or a group of motorcycles. Service: It's an order from the register and find a seat kinda place. But the staff is welcoming and patient with customers as they consider the wide variety of burgers and such. Food: Outstanding burgers. Being from San Diego AO I tried the Beach Bum and it is still my favorite. Side of onion rings, fries, fried pickles, etc. all good. Love the shakes but it's 50/50 if they have Strawberry. But when they do - Get It! Least favorites turkey burger and chicken sandwich. Still good but not nearly the POW of the rest of the menu. Cleanliness: No complaints, tables always wiped down and ready to go. Bathroom is kept clean despite the large amount of traffic stopping by. This place is still serving up amazing food!!! This time we tried a whiskey flight too and discovered barbecue flavored whiskey. YUM! The server was welcoming and recommended adding green chile to my Mac & G's burger which was SO GOOD!!! Love this spot in a small strip mall next to a gas station and dollar general. You order at the counter and they will bring you your food today. We ordered the G burger and the mama brown burger with a side of fries and onion rings in the past. I have ordered their zucchini and it is delicious.
