Monday night open mic was cool but drinks are expensive. only going to do one drink and won't be back. :(

We stopped here as this was the only restaurant and Clarkdale, which is why it makes me sad to give a subpar review. They're connected to the bar next door but the set up is odd. The building is old and historical but needs some upkeep. There was one lady working the front, seating people and serving them. I think maybe 2 cooks. The menu was basic America deli like lunch food. They had some pizzas and pastas, sandwiches and burgers. Nothing too fancy. We both had water and our waitress was super sweet. Because this was a quick stop before hopping on the Verde Canyon Railroad, we just shared a small meat lovers pizza with jalapeños. The pizza was actually delicious, a small is perfect for 2 people, you each would get 4 slices. The crust is original, not too thick or too thin and it wasn't burnt. I liked the small pieces of meat and I really liked how they cooked the jalapeños. However, the jalapeños were way more than the meat. Overall it was good. They did charge for ranch and didn't tell us. Cute place just need some upkeep! read more

Went to this Bar over the Memorial Day weekend. One should be made aware that they no longer serve food just drinks. They will allow you to bring in food, such as at the food truck nearby the Brewery across the street. At any rate, as one reviewer stated, it's like walking into the movie "Cocoon." The big plus at this place is the live music. So if you're interested in a good time with music, dancing, with an older crowd, then this is the place to go. Clarkdale is a quaint little town with the old west feel. Old town Cottonwood is just 5 min away. Jerome about 15 minutes. It was a good time, but we have to leave to get something to eat. read more

Popped in on Saturday afternoon and thought I was in the movie "Coccoon". Lot of older people having a ball drinking and dancing! It was great. There was live music and the dance floor was always packed! It was awesome to see. Great drinks from Chuck the bartender. Very polite and on the ball. Clean restrooms and updated decor. I heard great things about this bar, so was expecting to be welcomed. It being only 10pm when they say they close at 12, the bartender told me that the last 2 customers in there were his last. Bar closed.?!?! WTF? Bad customer service. It's only 10pm!!! And my birthday. Hate this bar. Zero stars. Horrible service. read more

My ears are ringing after an hour of one band. We arrived at 10 and the band played until 11. It was so loud we couldnt make small conversation while sitting right next to each other. I could understand this kind of volume if it was 1am inside a PACKED bar, but it was 10 pm and not anywhere near full. Seriously, I like to go out and enjoy local music (and I used to go out several times a week in SF so I know what Im talking about) but I'm guessing the 10-12 has it loud all the time, so I wont be back, even if i know the band. read more

Without a doubt this is one place you need to avoid!! My husband and I stopped for a drink--only people in bar but then the regulars started to show up. The language was of the type no female should ever be subjected to-- my husband asked the group to please to lower their voices. In retrospection we should have just left but a confrontation ensued--no support from the bartender who had also been using the abusive language. Now this is a really cool place. It's hard to believe there is such a classic old time bar and lounge in a little old town like Clarkdale. My wife and I finally got around to visiting this establishment last weekend and we had a ball. For starters, the building itself has a cool sort of mid-Century vibe from the outside. It reminds me of something I'd see along the streets of New York City. Inside is equally appealing with lots of dark oak furniture and a very long and ornate oaken bar with plenty of back glass behind it. The bartender was a very friendly young fellow who wasn't particularly outgoing but he knew how to put a good cocktail together. We also ordered food from the adjoining restaurant which was very good as well. My wife has a Greek pasta dish with spinach and feta cheese that was excellent while I had probably the BEST hamburger I've had in a very long time. It was called a Caprese Burger which like the salad or appetizer included fresh mozzarella, basil and tomato. It was grilled to perfection and was very very tasty. They have an outdoor patio round back that allows smoking so I am looking forward to enjoying a good cigar with a drink when the weather cools down, In the meantime, we plan to return when live music is playing to continue enjoying more fun experiences as this really nice place which is very close to our new home in Cornville, AZ read more

My Mom lives nearby and I was stuck at her place for a while, and happened up 10 12 Lounge out of boredom. Glad I made it there, because this is a cool bar that really surprised me to be in Clarkdale. First off, it's a pretty classy looking lounge with younger looking bartenders. This includes both an indoor lounge area, and a sweet looking outdoor patio that's probably a little nicer when it's not January. Second, and my favorite, they have an awesome tap selection of microbrews, all of which were fairly cheap. Four bucks for some of the finest pints out of Colorado or Portland? Yes, please. I live on the East Coast, so this was a nice treat to try some new stuff[0] that doesn't get East of the Mississippi. Third. . . LIVE MUSIC! I guess this wasn't an every night thing, but this was a Saturday, and they had a pretty good (local-ish?) band that mostly did their own stuff, but also had some good covers. It's a small enough place that I even managed to chat with a couple guys in the band. No food directly, but it did look like the place next door had a window that they passed ordered food through. This is probably the coolest bar in all of The Verde Valley. Really nice, classy lounge. The interior is done up with dark wood and green leather booths. They have a good selection of beer, the service is always friendly and the prices are reasonable. There is live music on weekends. The bathrooms are awesome and there have a great patio out back and it is lovely in the evening. Our plan was to stop in for one drink on a Saturday afternoon en route to Jerome. Four hours later we finally made ourselves get up and go to Jerome.10-12 is truly a gem in Clarkdale. read more

While visiting Northern Arizona my husband and I decided to check out Clarkdale since neither of us had ever been to this tiny town. We came across the 10 12 Lounge and decided to stop in for a few beers. Upon entering, the lounge is very nice and laid back. It almost looks like a bar you would see in the movie "Swingers." My husband and I sat in a big booth and waited for service. We sat for nearly 15 minutes without service. Sure, we could have walked up to the bar and just ordered, but it appeared they had table service and since we were being a little lazy we sat and waited to be served. The bartendar came over and kindly took our order. They have an excellent selection of beers on tap and much to my husband's delight they had 1554 beer on tap. On this particular night they had a guy with his massive record collection spinning vintage vinyl. My husband and I are music lovers and had a great time going thru his records and requesting songs and listening to his song picks. From their website I found out they have live bands and Tim (the guy with the record collection) spins vinly every Friday night. The lounge itself doesn't serve food, but you can order food from the pizza place next door and eat at the lounge. Next time I'm in or near Clarkdale I will be stopping by the 10 12 Lounge for a few brews and hopefully Tim will be spinning his record collection. read more

LOVE this place! Chuck the bartender is very efficient and personable. We thoroughly enjoy the bands there especially Daddy D and the Dynamites with Sweet Baby Ray, a Chicago Blues guy that plays an awesome harmonica. I love how he walks thru the crowd playing. The place is always packed, people talking at the tables, people dancing and just having a great time! We've been there 4 times and will definitely be back again. read more

Good burger. Surly Bartender. Wont come back.when I walked in the bar around lunch time, I asked if they served food, pretty obvious I was irritating the bartender, huffed around and tossed me a menu, I said I could go next door and order, he just walk away for 5 minutes, came back I gave him my order then he says" this IS a bar, did you want a cocktail?!" I orderd a micro beer. Then when I went to leave I bussed my table, no visable trash outside, so I took the overflowing ashtray inside to dump it and he bitched me out for that. I dont have alot of money, getting a burger and a beer is a treat for me, I was a bartender and server forever, I know its a tough gig, I always go out of my way to be kind, and respectful to people in the business, but he is just rude,and surely. stupidly I let him hurt my feelings. Didnt need it, added to my already tough life. Im sure he has his own problems, maybe just needs a day off. read more
