This place is an absolute gem, and Ayanna is the reason why. I stumbled into this place thorough a groupon promotion. It's been almost a year now, and I've followed Ayanna from her previous location to the new spot she's in now. Initially I was apprehensive; it was small, and there were only two beds. I was planning to keep on with the groupon roulette. Needless to say I have completely turned around, and I will never go anywhere else. Reasons I love it: Quality of the treatments - everything I've had done here, which started with just lash extensions but now has included a variety of facials, has been top notch. The quality of materials, the attention to my particular wants and needs (I'm very picky esp about my skin), and even the massages that follow some of the treatments have all been best in class. Sometimes I'm shocked at just how good one person can be at SO many things. Which leads me to... Ayanna, the lead aesthetician and now the owner- she is sincere, incredibly skilled and professional, and I've never felt anyone care more about my well being more at a spa. She's learning English quickly, but is keen to make you feel understood and is incredibly perceptive. Ive watched a really picky customer once make her re-do her lashes 3 times because the customer didn't know how long she wanted it, and she handled it so patiently and gracefully. Had such a wonderful massage and facial experience here by Ayanna & Tina! Upon entering, the ladies greeted my husband and me with a warm and positive welcome. I noticed how clean, cozy, safe and relaxed the space felt. Although the room was very small compared to other spas I've been to, I think it's the perfect size for couples and two friends. The massage and facial combo was such a great deal for around 1.5 hr. She spent about 35 mins on my back and it was great in relieving tension on my shoulders and lower back. Then she proceeded to a facial going through the classic skincare process -- cleanse, exfoliation, massage, steam, clay mask, and finally moisturizer. She attached to my lashline! Because of that, they look so fake because you can see where she glued them. I used to go to whatever eyelash service had a good deal on Groupon for my lash extensions. When I went here, I first had a Groupon deal. When the lady was done putting on my eyelashes, I noticed they looked a lot better than the other places and she put a lot of thought into it. Also, my lashes last so long compared to other places. Other places I would find chunks of lashes falling out and I would have to go back earlier than I'd want to. Here, my lashes last so long! I go once a month and I am good. I usually get 60 lashes per eye, but this time I got 100 and wow, no eyeliner needed. The price is a bit higher than other places, but overall it is worth it since I am not going as much and they look fantastic! I recommend calling them and asking them about first time deals if it is your first time. You will get a pretty good deal! 100% recommend this place especially if you live in Murray Hill! Reservations are required because they take one person at a time. Also, you want to allot yourself at least an hour because it will take some time. read more

My esthetician was Suky Chen and she was really helpful in helping me achieve the perfect look. For one, my eyes aren't very lifted so I didn't go for very long lashes. TERRIBLE!! Worst eyelash extensions I've ever gotten in my life. The glue was visible and clumpy, and she stuck multiple lashes to each lash which everyone knows you are NOT supposed to do as it can cause your natural lashes to break off. This picture I took is from when I woke up one morning and had this chunk of 5 lashes literally fall off of my eye.
